I'll be honest, sometimes I'm just here for the new skits 👍
Agree. He should do just skits. Love them!
they're not skits. this is Taryl's real every day life
The whole thing is a skit. Fire it up x3!!
Haha.. I use to skip them I was up late one night. Watching the skit about unwanted junk yard parts adoptions. My wife was like what are you watching
8:52
Teryl I almost die of laughter when you start paraphrasing what all the arm chair mechanics are saying 🤣😂
13:06 this whole tirade is gold lol. They don't wanna monkey around 🤣👌 I don't know why but the way he says monkey is so freaking funny
I watch many podcasts on how to fix things but this one is the most entertaining. Kudos to your production crew. All 1000 of them. Fire it up. Fire it up. Fire it up.
First the graphics are amazing g and the channel is awesome it just gets better every week thanks taryl
A masterpiece , the special effects are second to none. Speilborg and G. Luscus had better watch out! The Kroler carnage was almost too gorry to bear. I smell an Acamady Award in the works. Thank You for my rockin dinner.
I Leeked Oil when I saw the carnage of the crawler engine!
Are you sure the glob didn't come from "Uranus " ? Lol
"Blow it up! Blow it up!! Blow it up!!!"
lol
"Ive seen plenty of buggers before, but never any that took off like that"...LOL!!! Great special effects, Great video! Thanks!
5:02 - Elmer Fudd would be proud. And the Pittsburgh Tools comment...gold, Jerry! GOOOLD!!
The special effects are definitely getting better - keep it up! It's always fun blowing up an engine. I buy lawn tractors with rusted decks for $50 - $100 for the running engine.
I blew up my Kohler this morning too! That happens when I try to eat a whole pizza for supper. I think the Kohler motors are made in the same factory as the terlets anyway.
Boy I hear ya.
I saw a video a few years back, of someone who on purpose, blew up a good running Kohler Command single cylinder. Yeah, one of the good ones. They drained the oil then ran it till it threw its rod. Took a good 5 min or more if I remember right. I commented on their video that they had effed up, and ruined a great engine.
This was one of the funniest videos I've watched in a very long time good job guys
I totally understand why you would not want to re-build that engine, however, you would have a lot more spare parts to save another engine if you had not let it explode. (But it did make for a great video). Thanks!
Need more elskins..... lol he seems like a good feller i enjoy your guys videos slips, jr, taryl, elskins the hole gang..... thanks for the hard work and tips
Avery good two part vide. The Glob was very good, and seeing what happens to a no oil engine, a very good post. cheers !
Skippy....My favorite character. Eyyyy eyy eyyyyy!!! I jus need a spark plug.
I enjoy ALL you guy’s videos - But this is now my very favorite “Taryl Fixes All” video. Good job guys!
That was just brilliant, what a team! Elk Skins is great. 👏
Fire it up, fire it up. lol
Appreciate all the time and effort in your videos, they are both educational and hilarious. Please keep them coming.
That was a dumb skit..........But I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....It does hurt to blow up an engine, but I loved that too. That part that the space ship needed was exactly what I thought it needed!!!! Glad you had one on the shelf, I had to replace one just the other day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........Good job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think its so nice all the work these people put in the intertainment
That glob looked like great stuff to me (lol). "Slip Dogg" cracked me up too.
I have joy your videos I have and larned a lot about engine repairs.
Taryl fixes all! Fire it up fire it up!
Gettin pretty high tech with the special effects.
13:36 This is your Engine after a night of heavy Drinking and Drag Racing...
Loving skits he's well funny so are you? Keep the videos coming as you cheer me up? Keep safe dude
These guys are incredibly entertaining.
I always use to fear the worst with vehicles and such machinery.
Then I learned how things worked.
Now I love fixing things.
Thank for the dinner!
12:04 LOL!!! Haha, I love when he does that.
You guys are great... Your videos get better and better.. hollywood quality. Plus the technical features are great.. thanks for sharing
I love this channel. I always get a good laugh. You all deserve so many more views and subscribers. Keep the quality content coming though!
This was a great way to start my day!! Love your videos!!
Im spooked !! There could be one of those in my shop !
Great video guys, cool special effects.
It is amazing the damage that occurs when an engine throws a rod. I bought a very good condition Craftsman DYT this summer with a blown engine, a single cylinder 19 hp Intek. I opened the case and the camshaft was badly bent, but the decompression release was intact. The governor gear was completely intact. The rod was shattered into 30 pieces. I'll replace it with a good 17hp Kohler Command I have.
Taryl, I hope you have health insurance for your employees. Got Elk Skinns, jogging over there, barely looks healthy enough to lift his next White Castle Slider. Keep up the good work. Let's see that Briggs go in the Hooskervarner!
Hahahahaha!!!! Elk Skins is the worst! He looks terrible!
@@mattyg941 He's my new favorite character, honestly. The "shut up!" Taryl gives Elk Skins reminds me of when he used to throw Slippers over the fence. I don't think he looks terrible at all - just needs to wash his hands. You can tell he's been working for real.
Impressive damage!!!! And cool special effects!!!! Kohler.... BAH!!!
Wow that engine blew up pretty good I would say. Awesome vlog 👍👍
I see you cleaned your shop rag up!!!Love that rag👍
I had the same Kroler on my Dixon zero turn that the drain plug came out of too. It went boom also!
Great video Taryl ! Like to see what happens on a Honda or Briggs !
Thank you for the awesome video! Can't wait to see more!
but it just needed $1000 in work, for a $200 engine,
Those damned V-twins start at $1.7k (on a $2k mower), but yeah.
I enjoy your channel too dude
@Mick Mack
Just squirt it full of lithium grease and call it a success.
sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know of a way to get back into an instagram account??
I was stupid lost my password. I appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Kade Keenan Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now.
Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
that takes the saying " this aint the space shuttle we aint going to the moon" to a whole new level LOL LOL LOL
That's a real quality engine there, too
Elk Skins "fire it up, fire it up"
Takes 3 steps back?
Haha
I wish i had spare parts for space ship. Great video guys
RUclips CC (Closed Captioning) identifies carbetrator as "karma traitor".
"The carnage!" Hilarious. It did look like a murder scene.
You should what happens when a 3500 Cat engine throws a rod.
That's your dinner and dessert. Lol.
Little bit of JB Weld and she'll be back running just like new.
Awesome guys appreciate it
I love Taryl’s colonoscope camera
Awesome taryl video
I have never seen taryl work so fast before.
Besides the being worth the money or the time. It made a great video! Thank you
Love your vids !!!!
If he was mowing at night he would have been fine.. in total darkness you can see the pathetic faint oil pressure light which would tell you something's wrong.
unfortunately it's totally invisible in daylight... good one Krohler...
I modified mine to have a proper bright oil pressure light (drilled through dash plate) after my rubbish plastic Krohler oil drain stop cock let go and dumped the oil in the grass.
I was just lucky to have spotted it before damage was done.
I modify all customers' mowers by routing a wire from the
spark plug through a relay, then to the hand grips, so when the oil
low indicator engages the relay, the operator experiences a
bowel moving notification, which basically ejects them off the
seat, and the engines shuts off.
Works great.
@@mrbrown6421 LOL
@@mrbrown6421 But they will then complain about a misfire when they get ejected.. lol
@@alasdair4161 Never mind all that, what we want know is, will Trump complain about a misfire when he gets ejected?
Who don’t mix motors and politic its to explosive. Every body hit the deck she going to blow
Hi Taryl (or whatever your real name is 🤪) and company! I really enjoy your videos 👍👍. They are really funny but in the same time very informative about small engines. And now be ready for surprise - you have at least one subscriber in my country. Greetings from Bulgaria.
Halloween carnage! Oh! Yeah.
Last Kohler I saw that threw a rod ended up with a custom inspection port!🤣
I enjoy the negative comment voice as much as the videos.
It's great to see that ELK SKINS got "dressed up" for this video...(nice haircut)....but Jr's comment "it's not the space shuttle, it's a space ship" made me bust out laughing out loud. My son and I just love these videos...Let's hope Globby comes back for the holidays with his family/friends....imagine a giant corn nut/ cheese puff party
Man, can’t believe how bad that thing disintegrated like that. Thanks for the dinner ,T
This is why I always check my oil before starting my mower and look it over. That plug had to have been leaking before it came all the way out.
And glad to see Elk Skins getting in on the action. When is he getting a shirt?
Sadly people don't do this. I do it every time before I start a small engine, even if I know the machine.
Unfortunately I wasn't as careful as you. I kept forgetting to check the oil on my riding mower and used it extensively for lawn service. Over time it burned alot of oil and was running low but i never noticed. One day i started it up and drove a short distance. Everything sounded normal to me. Less than a minute later the engine threw a rod. Absolutely destroyed.
Check you oil every time!
I just rebuilt a 20 HP Briggs and Stratton intek that had the correct amount of oil in it but somehow it still managed to shatter the rod just enough to bend the cam that cracked the block. 300 in parts and still made 550 on the tractor.
Had a pump but I put back together and it was working fine. Could have failed? Not sure what did but would be interested in knowing .
Your right
The Courage engine by Kohler was the biggest mistake that company ever made. Plastic cam gears, top plate bolts vibe- rating lose causing oil leakage and finally blowing up. My mower salesman said they delivered a brand new one" Courage powered engine", years ago and it blew up before they returned to the shop. Thank God they fired the engineers on that build!
This guy is a legend lol
TARYL just whated some piston nuggets for his DINNER he don't have any .
Thanks a lot for sharing that.
There is nothing wrong with taking your crank out and having it polished.
Or having a shiny head.
Not gonna fix the knock.
You're lucky, In the UK our Globs only speak Arabic
Just wondering, in the UK, do they still use the expression “Arab on the corner?“ lol
Its here too only more slowly. They want nothing to do with americans. Seperate society in every way.
thats WACIST
That would be really, really funny...if it wasn't so true.
@@alansmith2693 Who are you replying to?
you guys are brilliant!
If the piston skirt doesn't come right down to the dinged up part of the bottom edge of the cylinder & the cylinder isn't scored then I'd fix the engine up for my personal use only, because I can get the cases welded up,I wouldn't rebuild it for a customer at their expense as it may fail on them or as Taryl mentioned there's the wait on parts,if you do it up for yourself then you can wait.
I'd say the aluminium can be polished off the crankshaft Journal since the aluminium connecting rod is softer than the crankshaft journal !
acid works good for cleaning aluminum off cylinder walls or crankshafts.
I know I like pulling my crank out and getting it polished 🤣🤣🤣
Fire it up fire it up fire it up!
Shadddaaaap
@@Wayoutthere lol :)
What are the odds my B&S 446777=0244-E1 implodes on the very same day Taryl posts this video. My insides look almost the same as those Krohler pieces. Thank you sir for helping me realize I should just buy a new engine and be done with it. Luv yer vids!
I'll adopt that part and give her the courage to be a great used part...
I want one of those scopes..shweet
Where can I get some of those mats you used?
Great autopsy loved it ...thank you Taryl % Co.
Oh the carnage, oh the humanity. Les Nessman reporting live.
Maybe it was one of frozen flying turkeys that landed in the yard!
Let’s see some more blowing up engines that’s awesome
When the engine slows down, it is only natural to give the engine more throttle. Then when there is more clearance on the rod the engine picks up speed again. But if the throttle is kept wide open then the explosion is really big.
everyone has a friend like Elk Skins lol
That was excellent
I have a Kohler command 23 with this same failure, it was only running on 1 cylinder. Found the piston not moving and it has broken a rod and was still running. Somehow the block was not damaged but I’m not fixing it.
I take MY crank out & polish it OFTEN !
Gotta keep it smooth ya know 😆
We want to see the replacement engine installed.
I feel like something major is missing since we didn't get to see it running with the Briggs installed. No "woooooo" or "Grass Rats, yeeow."
Eric from South Main Auto calls the pieces “kibbles and bits.” 😁
And THIS is why you're instructed to check the dip stick every time you plan to run the motor.........regardless of whether you think you need to or not.
Blow it up! Blow it up! Blow it up!
RIP Skippy...ehh-ehh-ehh-ehhhhhhhhh
You can make a desirable Yard Art Lamp beginning with the crank bolted to an old Disc Brake rotor.
Thank you.
Neat seeing the inside of one of these. Have a new air compressor that I'm guessing will be better to upgrade to the 190 Intek and be a gas engine portable one. Thinking leave the electric 60 gallon one even though has the inferior compressor. Looks like either an electric actuator solenoid with the regulator switch installed already or the pressure release contraption with cable and a go kart clutch on the engine. Anyhow, that will get me going for the seized pulley removal treatment without heat first and then with heat post cherry red quenching with the ground down flatter point air hammer fun. Skip expensive 5HP electric motors if I can. Thanks for sharing!
What happened to the low oil cut off
Wow
Do you even have any predator motors come in
Nothing like the sound of braking engines in the morning.
