I know Ive already left a positive comment, but I just don’t feel like that is enough praise. Your videos have given me so much confidence in cooking at home and I’ve been able to since stop eating so much fast food. Been having some heart health issues as of late and eating healthier has never been more important for me. I haven’t found anyone on YT that is as thorough in their instructions as you are. You are a total and complete blessing. Seriously, thank you so much.
Love it! My extra step I do is just before I think its cooked through that's when I throw the butter in, but I also chop up a couple garlic pieces and throw those in along with some tyme, and baste the chicken until its done. Adds some amazing flavor!
This is the best video I encountered for beginners like myself. You touched on everything that a newbie like me would be concerned/uncertain about. Thanks.
A clean damp towel under your cutting board will keep it from sliding around. I don’t have great knife skills quite yet, so it’s a trick that helps me out.
Hey friend's thanks for watching! Hope these steps are helpful when you're cooking your chicken breasts. Let me know below if you plan to try this out! Also, no more cutting into your chicken breasts to see if they are done lol! Grab yourself a meat thermometer and thank me later! My favorite one is listed above!
Thank you! I have been so nervous to cook and I used this tutorial and it went super tasty :) Butterflied a chicken breast and tried it out. I didn't have italian seasoning but I tried it anyway - super good.
Your chicken will come out really well if you take it out of the refrigerator at let it sit out for a little while, so that it’s not super cold, if you stick very cold chicken breast (or any meat) in a hot pan to sauté, the muscle fibers will tighten up, and cause you to have tough dry chicken breast. Don’t let raw meat sit out too long, you don’t want it to get bacteria, and make sure you cook it all the way through, but don’t over cook breast either, dry and tough meat will result.
Just don't let it rest on a wooden cutting board. Bye bye juices. Use a plate and pour all those juices back on your chicken before eating. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Hi Marsha, new subscriber here. Everytime I cook boneless skinless chicken breast on stovetop it comes out rubbery, dry or undercooked. I can tell you Your directions were spot on. I had 3 breast and cut them in half and continue to rewind, pause and rewind. In the end this chicken was delicious and perfectly cooked. Can't wait to try more of your recipes. Thank you😊
My first time cooking chicken was an absolute disaster. Pot dull of oil, the whole bottle, thick chicken breast's floating around forever.. still raw in the center once cut.. I'll try your method. Turns out I don't need a full pot of oil
Thank you for your hints I wondered with chicken breast being sauteed on top of the stove how to cook them evenly since they naturally are not even in size from top to bottom.
Let me tell you.. I am a believer. I rarely cook due to my schedule. And I'm always in doubt of me having any type of skill.. But if this young lady can make me.. make grilled chicken breast taste good without doing the most... then girrrrllll you got me SOLD. And I was like omg.. maybe I can't cook cause I don't have all these seasonings in my cabinet! Nope everything you mentioned I had.. I even had the meat beater and followed your routine to cover the chicken in plastic wrap. YASSS . Who knew there was HOPE for me.
When cutting it in half lengthwise would it be safer to lay the chicken on its narrow side (side you’re cutting)? Kinda claw grip on each side of the chicken (top half fingers, bottom half thumb) and have the knife under your palm, cutting from left to right. (That probably was so confusing😭)
This roasted potatoes and broccoli recipe would be PERFECT! Veggies can be roasting in the oven while your chicken is sautéing. RECIPE: marshaeileen.com/roasted-broccoli-and-potatoes/
Hi, that chicken looks yummy. Will you add a save button to your videos please? I'd like to be able to save this to watch again later. It would save me having to try and remember the name of the video in to find it and watch it again. ADD A SAVE BUTTON - PLEASE!!!! Thanks in advance.
Very nice! I’m a ex Bodybuilder and I was tired of eating chicken the way I prepared it. You gave me life ! Yaaaaaay! Thank you! Question?! What could I use in place of the butter or is that the only option?
Thank you soo much for this recipe ! You’re an amazing 🧑🍳 Chef You won’t believe it but it took me back to that Roasted Chicken From The Mexican Store ❤️👌 Oooooohhhh it hit different for sure 👌👌👌👌
Very cool recipe! I gotta say, that fond in the pan after taking the chicken out looked ripe for a reux to make some screamin' gravy! Thanx for sharing your recipe and technique!!
Wowee! I just found this recipe, and it's perfect, thank you for all the details you showed. I wouldn't have thought to slice the breast in half thickness - both pieces are juicy and delicious without any added sauce needed. But of course, right now I'm looking at the bits in the pan and might make a gravy from that (how tasty with the paprika - yummy!) Thanks so much! 👏
Cut off the small thin end and cook it separately. Good to cut the thick pieces in half. Learn to use a knife safely. Yer gonna cut yerself now an den.😊
I can't explain how great this recipe is!!! Was only missing the paprika, but it was absolutely awesome. I can't wait to get some paprika. This is going to be my specialty. THANK YOU!!!
Hi Marsha, please give me the website where you purchased your meat thermometer. I would like to try your chicken breast recipe but I need the meat thermometer to make sure I’m not over cooked or under cooked. Thank you Marsha😊

You are so welcome!! :)
This is exactly what I was looking for. Well explained and simple to do.
Thanks so much! Glad it was helpful.
As someone who always burns chicken 😅 this was incredibly helpful! Now I feel more confident to try again soon ❤
A clean damp towel under your cutting board will keep it from sliding around. I don’t have great knife skills quite yet, so it’s a trick that helps me out.
That's genius! Thank you😊
Careful with molding on wood cutting boards using damp rag underneath.
@@religionisapoison2413 Very true. I like plastic for that exact reason.
@@religionisapoison2413 shouldn’t be using wood for meats including fish, porous af and traps bacteria.

Hi.. How much are your measurements of the seasonings?
Thank you for your hints I wondered with chicken breast being sauteed on top of the stove how to cook them evenly since they naturally are not even in size from top to bottom.
You're very welcome! :)
You lost me at the time when you stated you made a video about how to boil a chicken breast. Who the hell boils chicken? Gross!
i would have added a bit of vinegar to pan and get them fond juices just to put on the meat
What is the measurement for the chicken seasoning
This is so helpful and clear. Thank you
I made this yesterday, simple but delicious ❤️👏🏾 thank you!
You're welcome!❤️

How long to let it rest, I'm new to cooking
20- 25 minutes
@@mlamont235 If I let it sit for 20-25 minutes, then the chicken is cold. Don't want that.
@@whatyousay9816 heat it back up for 30-40 seconds
