I've somehow missed this one (out of my 150+ games). As a immersion/story player, this is right up my alley ... thanks ... and nice job on the review!

That's great to hear! The graphics honestly are still super impressive, but it is definitely a shorter and simpler experience overall

Fun game, basic as all hell - it's essentially the Hack'n'slash equivalent of a Lightgun Shooter but the story is dumb, predictable fun and there's no denying that technically (speaking purely in terms of presentation) this is still a very polished game, well worth your time.

Agree with pretty much everything you've said. It's a short and sweet experience but nothing too deep

I remember loving this game on my late rx570. But I've only played it once and never got the drive to play again

@@dox_plays story is great, gameplay is neat, but to me it lacks some replay value idk... I'll probably give it another go later this year

ahh yes the game i wish to playthrough but never takes the time to get through a pretty early thing(its after u jump of boats in england if i remember it correct after years since i stoped n gave up)
But as u said in video...
This game looks so so so very very gooood...Way better then many games in 2024 look even so thats a main thing the game has going for it+the roman soldier look thats sadly never built on i would have loved this game to be more of a rpg with great visuals n story from that time period(who wouldnt want to be a hero in the roman empire at that time in history)
So why didnt they release a 2nd game is a great question? also why dont make it as a 2nd game more of a story heave game w brutal fights inbetween everything w exploration of rome at that time period in history that i love(no thats not true i like it and love the ancient egypn n greece-so ac origins n game after that one was right for me in every way
Sorry for draging this on...but its definatly a game worth trying in 2024...right price?? 15-20 bucks i think is an ok price......
Thanks 4 this video(i im now reinstalling it n this weekend its me n ryse son of rome hanging out in the wait for UNTIL DAWN laer today)

Thanks for the kind words - I don't think this sold particularly well and though it did well to showcase the Xbox's capabilities - the story was somewhat short and I think a lot of people agreed the gameplay was lacking

Good story and graphics but the repetitive gameplay gets old. But still I enjoyed it since it’s a relatively short game.
