Divenire, in English “to become”, a piece that both dwells on the past and ponders the future - and one I felt fit to celebrate the upcoming 100M views on Nuvole Bianche!! When that piece was first posted, this whole genre was still in its infancy, it’s incredible to see how far it's come and how many people it's touched. Something which is also quite crazy is that Apple asked me to make this video for you - they’ve actually been supporting and sponsoring classical music and artists in general, which I’ve never seen in this age of digital streaming - and it’s now finally possible to listen to my recordings on Apple Music Classical too: apple.co/Rousseau
C’est la vie. The good and the bad - all a part of each of our lives. It’s impossible to explain what has been happening this last year and a half, without getting personal or spoiling future ideas. What I love most in art is making things never done before, which with floods of falling note videos, is next to impossible now in this style. But it’s safe to say the ideas and creations haven’t stopped, in piano and beyond, my absence hasn’t been without reason - and hopefully I will be able to show you all soon ♥
I really hope everything is ok with you. It’s wonderful to see you back. You taught me how to play piano and your playing moves me every time I listen. Glad to see you back 😊✌🏻
few artists who leave such a profound impact that their absence is felt like a missing heartbeat. For me, Rousseau is one of those rare individuals. His music was more than just a performance; it was an invitation into a world of passion, beauty, and storytelling. Rousseau didn’t simply play notes-he transformed music into something alive and deeply meaningful. And now, after a year : without him, I find myself hoping, almost desperately, for his return. I feel like there’s a part of my own musical journey that feels incomplete without his guidance and inspiration. From the moment I discovered his videos, Rousseau’s artistry captivated me. His playing wasn’t just technically brilliant-it was filled with emotion, drawing me in and making every piece feel personal. Inspired by him, I took up the piano, eager to create something even half as powerful. Through him, I saw what the piano could truly be, and I wanted to learn how to make it sing the way he did. And yet, in his absence, there’s a quiet void. I miss not only his music but the joy of looking forward to each new performance, knowing it would bring fresh inspiration. Rousseau’s disappearance has made me realize how deeply he influenced my own musical journey. His dedication, skill, and emotional depth made me want to push myself, to keep going when I hit challenging moments in my practice. Watching his performances helped me understand that music is more than just notes-it’s a way to reach people’s hearts. Nearly a year without his music feels like too long; I want to see him return, to hear him bring the piano to life again, and to feel that connection and inspiration he gave so freely. I can’t help but hope Rousseau knows how much he’s missed. His return would mean everything, not just to me but to countless others who were inspired by his playing. We want him back because he brought something irreplaceable into our lives-a spark, a purpose, and a reminder of why music matters. I want him to know that his absence has only amplified his importance, and that we are all waiting, more eagerly than ever, to see him return to the piano. We miss you Rousseau.

This is what made people like you in the first place. You have more tham 5 million subscribers. Don't make it worthless, please.
I hope you are doing well Rousseau. I was going through my channel subscriptions, saw you, and decided to pop in. I remember when this video was posted. I watched it only a few minutes after it went live! Absolutely beautiful playing my friend! While I am only a RUclips subscriber and purposely choose to avoid social media, I hope that everything in your life is going well. Quality is always best. You work hard on perfecting pieces. I value that greatly! So, until the next release, rest easy, stay healthy, never give up, and best wishes to you my friend.
I gotta say ludovicos music has helped me so much in so many ways. My now late grandmother would have absolutely loved this music, sometimes the tears just begin streaming down my face in memory of how she would always play piano for any church and the funerals of all the people she knew or played for. She also cooked for church get togethers literally everytime the doors were open. I guess this music in a way allows me to channel her and her spirit especially at times when i feel i might need guidance.
Rosseau you are back after such a great time.. we really missed you. I'm not even a minute into the piece but i can sense it's taste right now. Lots of love man
So lovely to see you posting videos again. You are easily my favorite pianist on youtube, and dare I say, better than a fair few pianist I've seen in concert. Can't wait to listen to what you play for us next.
Dear Rousseau, upon your return you inspired me to write this today "Music is a beautiful expression of one's self, often without words. Whatever transpired in a year, is just one year of life here on earth. It's beautiful and it's haunting, how the clock stops for no soul. It's something we steady we can count on, that we count, that continues on without us. It passes, fits and confirms to no man. The same piece can evoke different emotions in different people. Music can set the center stage, demanding itself to be heard, or softly whisper in our ear "This is my story to tell." When we choose to listen. The music touches us whilst its never physically felt. In music, we introduce ourselves. We have a battle, we have a conclusion. A question and a answer, conflict and resolve. Play with passion, you'll be fully heard, though you breath not a single word."
I really like your interpretation on this piece, especially how slow the tempo is. Such a lovely and emotional and touching piece. Hope you’re well my good sir. Your presence has been missed. 🙏🏼✨
THE RETURN OF THE KING!!! So glad to see your return, Rousseau. You are what inspired me to begin learning piano 4 years ago, and inspired me to begin learning Hungarian rhapsody no. 2, which I just started learning. Love your content, and I hope you continue to find yourself in good spirits, and always know that there are millions of people who care about you and your well-being.
You might be missing, for how long we don’t know. However we have the pieces you played wonderfully, bringing the names of pieces to light, being an inspiration for those who want to and still play the piano. Thank you Rousseau
The king has returned! Patience truly is a virtue. It's good to have you back Rousseau. I can't wait to see what wonders await this year, you're phenomenal and are one of the reasons I picked up piano years ago. Thank you for being such an inspiration.
This song doesn't need to be complicated. Ludovico understands emotion on a fundamental level, and Divenire is a prime example of that fact. This song connects with all of us because it is meant for all of us. It doesn't tell us what to feel; it reminds us how to feel. The value of raw emotion in music cannot be overstated. Long story short, I love this song and I'm so glad to see all the others who feel the same way.

I hope you’re well Rousseau. You were a big inspiration when I was first put into piano class during high school. I remember tuning into your live streams whenever you dropped new videos. I’ve been away from piano for some time now but I wish to get back into it. Sad to see your channel is inactive. Like I said, I hope all is well🫶🏽
I just wanted to say how much i miss your beautiful music. Your performances have brought me joy and inspirstion to my life and i often come back to your videos again to relive those special moments. I hope you are doing well and that someday we might hear you play again.

@@Lollo_Osu_Realsure, but im truly shocked by how much his channel can grow without him posting a single video. He probably has enough income to live comfortably off.
Here to say I randomly found this channel while listening to classical songs played on the piano. Here to let the creator know their video has brought someone happiness. I have been struggling lately but this length of listening and watching the visualizer is relaxing. So, thank you.
ROUSSEAU WHERE R U!!!!! I MISS U AND U WERE MY IDOL WHICH HELPED ME GET INTO PIANO! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME BACK IVE WAITED SO LONG AND I MISS U!!! PLEASE COME BACK 😭
Love the way you play. In fact, my brother introduced me to you several years ago and since then, I've been listening to "Fantaisie Impromptu", "Little Red Riding Hood," and others. Your visuals are amazing. They really capture what the piece is and what it means. I really hope you're doing okay. I hope to see you upload more pieces...Miss you, Rousseau!
Rousseau, it makes me so happy to see you that you are well and uploading again. Having found your channel last year it was pretty sad to see that your last upload was in 2021 because I instantly was so impressed with how much work it must have taken to play all of these difficult and less difficult pieces so well while making videos with such high quality. You were one of the people who brought me into this amazing genre of classical music, and we are so grateful to have a channel like this on RUclips. Thank you.
Thank you very much, seriously, before I didn't like to play the piano because everyone made fun of it, but when I found out about your channel, I was filled with joy when I saw such a talent from there, I gained strength and began to play and little by little I began to feel that happiness when playing each note thanks to you 🙏
What?? People made fun of it? I WISH I had the patience, the talent, the "ear", but most importantly again, the patience, to teach myself the piano. Be proud of that you do!
So glad to have you back Rousseau, you've been missed. This was a fantastic cover, but as someone that tries to learn the piece based on your videos it is a little challenging to decipher what keys to play because of these effects.
Hi! I introduced your Channel to my son 4 years ago before he started his piano journey. The pieces you played inspired him so much and now he made some progress. Couple days ago he asked me when you will upload more pieces and I couldn't answer him. We hope you are doing well and please share your fans some new pieces when you have time. Take care😊
I'm so happy you're back!!! I started watching your channel just after you'd stopped uploading, and I've loved it! Listening to you play just always makes me feel better. And you've inspired me to keep playing the piano after I stopped taking piano lessons. I'm just so glad that you're back!
tbh in my opinion the more likely outcome is that rousseau because of his channel and the millions of views that he gets, he probably is living his dream life from yt revenue, and is unmotivated to play piano because of his success. this is just a theory but i could be right. I mean how busy can he really be if he was making these types of videos weekly for years? its been a year he could have learned something by now. Maybe he is preparing for consistent uploads in the future by remembering more pieces. Ik im yapping a ton but I hope you get what im saying tho on what could of happened. I just hope hes not dead.
Man... What an amazing comeback! You don't know how happy I am to see you're back! With a beautiful song, in fact... I should really check more of Ludovico Einaudi. Anyways, great video! The effects are the most beautiful effects I've ever seen.
Much love Rousseau. your covers have been there for me through everything and, they still are. I’m glad I haven’t lost my love for this instrument and you too
Long time no see friend! Absolutely stellar job on the ivories! I can't tell you how excited I was to see your upload notification pop up! Beautiful song. Welcome back!

I can't express how happy I am that you've returned. You've been a massive inspiration to me while learning piano and I hope you continue to inspire others like me.😍😍😍
Yes same for me :)
... and he's gone again. Maybe he'll come back again when given another sponsorship!
Wow, so many kind comments welcoming Rousseau back. He truly is loved ❤
Ah rousseau, The man who is an inspiration to a whole lot of people including me. We are so glad you are back bro. What a beautiful piece you have played here in this video. We, your fans, love you very much bro!
We miss you pls come back😢😢😢
Qué bueno, nuevamente por acá!!! Deleite a mis oídos y observar maravillosas interpretación 👏👏
¿Cierto que sí? 😁
Congratulations on 5 million Rousseau, incredible playing and one of the best unfaced piano players of our time

Neither the words nor the letters of this message are enough to express the happiness I feel for your return. welcome home friend, teacher, rousseau

Thank you for returning to RUclips, you continue to inspire me with your classical performances!
So excited to hear you play again! You are a huge inspiration, you’ve been missed. Welcome back!
Thank you for all of the songs, all of the time, and all of the effort 😌. Appreciate ya
my soul felt so nourished even through my battles ur music still touches my heart deeply and because of you , I'm so honoured that music like this exists in this life
Dude he's gaining subs whether he posts or not. The passive income stream must be insane. I'm just glad he's probably living a happy life somewhere apart from RUclips.
he said he is working on a very hard piece that takes a lot of practice, so maybe we could see him again soon
@@Lollo_Osu_Realsure, but im truly shocked by how much his channel can grow without him posting a single video. He probably has enough income to live comfortably off.
@@Lollo_Osu_Realwhere did he post it?
@@mazzoni23 i forgot but he did say it somewhere
Here to say I randomly found this channel while listening to classical songs played on the piano. Here to let the creator know their video has brought someone happiness. I have been struggling lately but this length of listening and watching the visualizer is relaxing. So, thank you.

rousseau we miss youu can’t without ur piano pieces
Bach with a bang, i was really wanting to hear this piece played by you. God has made my wish to come true. I'm so happy rn
I love how Einaudi's Pieces are beautifully simple to learn but extremely hard to master and all of them just sound incredible! ❤

The perfect piece for your comeback! Glad to have you back, Rousseau :)

Ludovico should see this!! So talented and mixed with emotion😊
Ludovico Einaudi is a master in the art of creating beauty through music, and "Divenire" is a brilliant example of this. And welcome back
So glad to have you back Rousseau, you've been missed. This was a fantastic cover, but as someone that tries to learn the piece based on your videos it is a little challenging to decipher what keys to play because of these effects.

For learning this song I recommend the flaming piano's version
Take care😊
I will start writing from today, until Rosseau comes back and starts posting again (day #5)
I'm so happy you're back!!! I started watching your channel just after you'd stopped uploading, and I've loved it!
Listening to you play just always makes me feel better. And you've inspired me to keep playing the piano after I stopped taking piano lessons.
I'm just so glad that you're back!

You can speak what you believe, but only to yourself.
Now get out of here.
@@plutoooooooooooooo shows you how it’s made. I just think they need to be transparent
tbh in my opinion the more likely outcome is that rousseau because of his channel and the millions of views that he gets, he probably is living his dream life from yt revenue, and is unmotivated to play piano because of his success. this is just a theory but i could be right.
Rousseau comeback!
Man... What an amazing comeback! You don't know how happy I am to see you're back! With a beautiful song, in fact... I should really check more of Ludovico Einaudi. Anyways, great video! The effects are the most beautiful effects I've ever seen.
