Scubapro Spring Straps

These Scubapro Spring Straps are for use with the Scubapro Jet Fins and are made with high grade marine steel so they last. These straps replace the traditional fin strap with the added benefits of being easy to put and take off and being fully depth compensating. The elastic nature of the spring strap tightens as you descend to compensate for the crush on your boots meaning your fins stay on at the exact tension you set them to at the surface.

to answer my own question: make sure the long side of the plastic pin holder is flush with the fin. If the short side is towards the fin, the plastic pin holder will angle out, making the strap tighter. Possibly (?) you could install the straps with the short side of the plastic pin holder facing the fins if the fin straps are too loose
