Zillabeau (code katie10) Lots of color options zillabeau.com NashlyNails (code katie10) more great options! www.nashlynails.com/collections/icegel-galaxy Also, in the video I state you should apply them over black. This is optional. The colors I use in the video have a sheer black base, so I recommend applying them over black to give you an opaque look and make the colors pop. However, years after filming this, there are now many different colors of cat eye, ranging from light to dark shades. So using a black base is not always necessary depending on the color and the look you're trying to achieve.
I recently tried cat eye gel over chrome (which video I'm about to go watch, to get some tips!), and I'm IN LOVE, the brilliant chrome shine thru the cateye sparkles is just amazing! I'm using a "no color but all colors" 5D cateye gel, over a couple different shades of blue chrome, and it's quite ethereal, seeing that intense blue thru the many-colored sparkles.
@@andriaduncan5032oh my goodness that sounds like a beautiful mani you created..I LOVE cat eye gels..I have one set that doesn't need any base color so I should try chrome powders.. unfortunately I am still learning how to use the magnets correctly. @@Jennifer-u7g No, not really, but I do recall that her video demonstrated using chrome over the cat-eye gel, while mine was the reverse -- I did the cat-eye gel over the chrome, and since the cat-eye gel I used didn't really have much of a color of its own -- just "all colors" -- it worked great! Tomorrow I'm removing my Valentines colors (white pearl-pink pearl-red glitter ombre) and putting on some dark green that I got recently and haven't tried yet (Beetle's greens collection) with some blue-green cat-eye gel over it. This was such a fantastically done tutorial. Thank you so much for demonstrating all these techniques! I'm so excited and I love all of them, I want to have them all on my nails at the same time!
My magnetic gel polish came with the worst instructions. After doing one hand with the weirdest designs I got fed up and came across your video. Now I have one awesome hand and one to redo 😂. Thank you for giving clear instructions!
Thanku very much mam ....I m begginer in dis field ....but u teach very simply ...m glad to find ur video......keep posting ur ideas....❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I just started playing with gel polish and I'm in LOVE!!! I finally got some cat eye gel polish but was getting so frustrated thinking I got a bad product, then thought to myself man what if I'm doing it wrong, and I was only using the magnetic side to try and get that same effect. Thank you for a lovely tutorial, I learned a lot!!!
I love your tutorial. It was imformative but to the point and not too chatty. I think your designs are great and makes me want to experiment more with my own designs for myself.
I started doing my own gel nails at home about a year ago, and recently I came across the cat eye polish, and thought it looked so cool, but was worried I wouldnt be able to figure it out, your video explained it so well, thank you!
As soon as you did the second nail I was like uh WHAT! 😊 🤗 🤪 😃 I watched a live tik tok ad and was sold on cat eye gel, though I had NO UV anything. After getting it and trying, I wished I had just bought press on nails that already had the design! Thank you for lifting a huge weight off of me. I can't wait to clean my nails and try again!
Thank you so much for doing this video! I just ordered cat eye gel and the magnets. I didn’t know about curing the nail ASAP after creating the pattern for it to stay bolder looking. I would have waited until I was done with them all then cured them. They’re all beautiful but, I love the pattern one the best.
I am interested in cat eye gel polish, so I have been binge watching lots of videos and I just wanted to thank you for this video it is well done well explain and easy to follow and my favorite is definitely the last nail with the stamp on it !!!!
This was a really good tutorial for me to get this type of nail polish, I rarely put on nail polish but when I first saw someone using a cat eye nail polish I had to know how to do it
I've wanted to use cat eye polish but didn't know how to get he effects I saw in the various images I saw. Thank you for this tutorial because now I know what to do! Cat eye nail polish, I'm coming for you now!!
Hi yes love the info from this video. One: learning. Two: leaning I need a stamper and selection of magnets. Plus💅 more colors. Plus more time in the day🤪☺
Thank you!! Veryhelpful!! I wonder if you've done or would do a video showing how to get it to the point of the nail tip? I see a swipe maybe up one side, then down the other, then they sort of tap it to the tip! But I can't figure it out. You're a great explainer! I totally subscribed just now!💜💜💜
Beautiful! Thank you. I know it’s been awhile since you did this but I just got some cat eye polish for Christmas and this was exactly what I needed to see!
Thank you so much. I'm not that much of an girly girl, and add to that the fact that i don't read instructions, just like a dude (plus my eyesight is horrible). Your video was great and I finally know how to do this properly (you should have seen the mess I made! You would have had a good chuckle). Thank you so much for your help. Wish me luck!
I might be weird, but it's kinda cool that you see the color moving as it is attracted to the magnet. I am definitely going to do this. Thank you for the tutorial!!!
Awesome tutorial! Thank you so much, it's such a simple process but for some reason for me I just couldn't get the magnet to give me the desired effect but after watching your tutorial now I know what I was doing wrong so thank you so much! It really depends on the color of cat eye you’re using. They now have lots of different colors, these ones in particular have a sheer black base so I find they just look best over black ☺️
I love them all but the middle kind of bubble effect I’d my fave I’m going To get some of these and do blue : green bubbles I’m not a tec and after 36 years doing nails I’m still learning different stuff as awesome nee products come out then you for sharing now going to bash my bank card haha 💜
Loving this tutorial!! Can you do a tutorial like this for lighter cat eye nails?! DND released an amazing range of creamy cat eye colors, hope to see those or similar! Thank you for all your hard work putting together these tutorials!! ❤
Great ideas! Hint: when you have finished you design with the magnet, then lift the magnet vertically from the nail. Don't remove tge magnet horizontally, this can move a bit the design.
Great tutorial. For the first time in my life I have nails. Long enuf to polish and get a manicure. I'm 68 yesterday and absolutely love turquoise the gemstone. My request is this. Turquoise has many characteristics one of which is the gold , bronze, or black matrix that runs through the gemstone itself. Could you possibly show me how to achieve nail art that resembles a turquoise gemstone?
Thank you Katie🤩 i have everything to make cat eye nails since months & and never tried them as i didn't know how😅 Your video is great and easy to understand...biig thumb up, thanks again🤗🥰
