For me is more of changelling theme They are the one that are about to turn the continent upside down in their quest for revenge and in my last equestria run, they came very close to break me
The final preparations for war are done. The army is massed on the border. Ammunition has been distributed. The tanks are at jumping off positions. The planes are ready for take off. The invasion is less than 24 hours away. This is the vibe this song gives me.
I have stared into the abyss, that writhing mass of colorless, swirling shadows - it is as you make of it. Many see it as curse, a pox upon the mind. Few see it as a source of inspiration. Even fewer the ethereal essences of the immortal Muses. Me? I gaze and see my reflection; chains constricting my body, and locks of all sorts adorn my fettered form. Suddenly, my reflection smiles at me as his horn flared up. A key appears in his mouth. At the same time, I taste metal...
The abyss? Perhaps not. I'll gaze to the void beyond instead. Chaos does not befit me enough. Nothing does, however. Silent, tranquil, nothing. Calm. Consuming. Endless.
Actually, it's percussion from Orchestral Essentials, and some ProjectSAM and G-Town freebies I got from this huge soundfont pack awhile back. I might invest in Drums of War someday, but that'll be after LASS and ProjectSAM Orchestral Brass Classic. And a new laptop, of course.
Discord always resented his name, and his "followers" were sure to never refer to him by it. Discord. Just another word for chaos. It wasn't really a name, more like an unchanging description. Chaos is about change after all, and every embodiment of chaos should have many names. Discord certainly did, and he made sure that each one was more ridiculous and insensible than the last. Not that anyone but his followers referred to him as such, but it's the thought that counts. Then there's the matter of his followers. Well, "followers" is a bit generous. They didn't really follow him, more like they simply aspired to *become* him. To become a true embodiment of chaos. It was really easy, but those who had departed from the Sun's world of Harmony found it quite the challenge. All you had to do, was forget yourself and cross the edge. The path you take would be very strange, not a fall or ascent, or forwards. It would go in all directions imaginable, and sometimes in ones never thought possible. Nothing was certain about it, but it was the path of least resistance once you accepted it. Not insanity, but forgetting everything about who you were. Name, past, identity, love, memory, personality. You aligned to no faith and owed no loyalty. Maybe you were generous and saved a life, or greedy and ignored it. Kindness was acceptable, but feel free to give into your fury every once in a while. Honesty was your greatest tool. When to be true, or sprinkle in a few lies here and there. Laughter was a must. If you didn't enjoy your work, you would grow stagnant and unmoving. Magic was entirely optional. On one hand you could sacrifice your mortal coils and become a spirit of chaos like Discord. But on the other, being mortal made it so much more fun. Ponies especially seems to find killing much harder than dispersing a spirit, even though the two were essentially the same.
Dang man, you got a truly powerful song resonating here. Awesome stuff! I assume the percussion is...Drums of War? I'm still trying to get that, I feel like that stuff would work really well.
Oh boy, I know about needing a new lappy (or desktop) for this. I've run out of space for my music stuff. Never really tried the Orchestral Brass, just used Cinebrass (and some Symphobia) for the brass stuff myself. I DEFINITELY recommend the LASS sample, those strings are EXCELLENT!
"Alright! Let's bring 'em in, boys!" Said a voice. Picchu felt very alarmed by this. They were taking his deceased brother? And if so, where? Hiding behind the portal they opened, he turned the corner and swiftly jumped in. When on the other side, it looked like a factory. Almost like the one he lived in. "There you are!" Said a voice. He quickly Thunderbolted the gloves, but others still got a hold of him. That didn't stop him from trying to Thunderbolt again. And he did, several times, before they began putting him in the cloning area. Those wires would act like tasers, but tasers feel like nothing against an electric type.
Our tanks will be in Canterlot by mid-winter.

Unofficial theme of Dread League.
*Bread league
This song could also fit the fascist crystal empire and the solar/lunar empire.

"The dice is cast"
Queen cryshalid before ordering her army to cross the equestria border, igniting a war that would decide the fate of the continent
I AM EDGING (my troops closer to the equestrian border) TO THIS

I was thinking the same thing
"Do not gaze deeply into the abyss of insanity, for you may never find your way back."

Man, this music's great. Perfect to listen to before facing the hells of war.

When I read "the brink of insanity", only one thing comes to mind.
"I HAVE THE SHINIEST MEAT BICYCLE!"
Daaaaaaaaaaaaayum
