Yes they are sculptures that mean two things.... The ribs of a boat and ribs of a whale. I lived near there 5 years ago now I live 100km away but I go there to make this video
Some beautiful scenery and those sculptures were amazing! We used to swim in the baths at Cronulla and surf at South Cronulla as kids, but I haven't been there for years!

We really enjoyed your commentary, that made it for us, scenery is wonderful but it is the human content that makes it. We have been to Sydney a few times over the years holidaying but have never been to the area you have just hiked. We had wondered what was in your back pack, it was your bathers and towel, hope you had a nice swim 🧡🧡❤❤😘😘
ummmm ... no bathers .... 😊 .. it has a snack, a safety first kit and my nikon camera and a couple lenses (walks started off being photography outings) .. it needs protection... I fall a lot .... lol
It's nice that you show us the drive too. Cool sculptures in the water and on the beach. I love hiking along the cliffs. The beach at the end is just a place I want to spend the whole day.

I used to live at Monterey and as kids we would train it from Rockdale to Cronulla for a swim/surf.

Its one of the most popular beaches in Sydney. Good safe swimming and other areas that are good for the surfers

I used to live across the bay in Monterey. I remember going to Kurnell as a young child (around 60 years ago) Its a great place to visit and walk.
