- A walk around the Deep Creek Loop walk. The walk is considered a moderate walk but has its testing section and no signage so you will need a navigation app like AllTrails to not get lost. The highlight for me was the waterfall around 2/3rd the way around but there is much to see on the 5.6km walk.

Glad you enjoyed it Hazel. it was a perfect day for walking. mostly sunny and clear and not too warm ... only around 20C ... It's not a well known track but I'm. sure some in my hiking groups will add it to the list of walks to do after seeing this trail.

Glad you liked it. This walk was a bit special. Close to suburbia but once away from the roads it was like you were a thousand miles away from civilization. I didn't see nobody else along the trail.

Yes it was good. A bit hard to work out the right way at times but with the walking app I made it home by dark 😁

Clear water beautiful jungle nice for walking
It's great to be able to get out into nature and just breathe clean air and relax away from civilisation for a little while.

Hi Mark! Great to join you for another walk and talk!! This track did look a bit wet in places, nice to see the sturdy foot bridge! I really enjoyed seeing the ferns and trees and other plants. 😄☀️☀️
Thanks Jennifer. It was a walk I didn't know much about. The walk was primarily to get to go take pics of the waterfall but I enjoyed it even with the lack of directional markers.

That fern plant across the bridge is gorgeous, the whole trail is. :)
I came across this trail after looking for a couple waterfalls in this area. I didn't get a chance to visit the other waterfalls but this trail and all it had to give were worth missing the other falls. I'll go back for the other falls some other day.

Thanks Des, I would have been lost without my walking app. Luckily there was a signal in enough places for me to be sure I was heading in the right direction. Was a bit wet luckily the next walk I will put up wasn't rain affected

There is nothing better to make you relaxed like being out with just the sound of birds, wind in the trees and flowing water. Time by yourself to think and ... not think.

I have away from all social media all this time ….. you probably remember Gunther ,…,my sweet Gunther crossed the rainbow bridge , sudden totally unexpected and devastating. Took a huge chunk of my heart …… lost him last year ….. life isn’t the same without him

So sorry to hear about Gunther. I was only thinking the other day why have yo stopped posting. Thanks for catching up and watching my video. I had to take some time off after smashing my shoulder in a mountain bike accident. Still not 100% but getting there and enjoying being back out on the trails.

Thanks, you too. It had its challenging bits around the start when I turned into Slippery Dip Trail and going down to the waterfall but a little challenge is good.

Waterfalls waters the whole forest. Mossy soil with mushroom is a healthy sign. Good film my friend
Pretty much untouched and only rarely visited. A good place to escape for a little while

Awesome...what a lovely variety of topography. Love those falls, but Otis isn't a fan of getting is paws wet...LOL Better watch your head! Thanks Chris. It's a great place for a walk. Could use some signage as many smaller trail run off the track. Luckily I have a navigation app.

are dogs allowed there?
I answered on FB but due to being partially on a national park its not allowed but some of the terrain would be a bit difficult. I would think there are sections that the dog couldn't manage and would have to be carried down/up some rocks.
