That’s exactly what I thought when the camera zoomed in on the ship as it became visible after leaving the cover of the asteroid
I like the idea that while one dude's helping, another is like "COME ON!" As if they couldn't fix it too.
This is hands down the best SE short film I’ve seen. The combat, the sounds, the music, that 10/10 camera zoom on the ambusher as it left the cover of the asteroid- was that meant to evoke the Expanse? Because it did.
Thanks! These take inspiration from a variety of places, but the Expanse is definitely up there.

Really nice done! Every scene was brilliant and well recorded. I recently found a soundlibary called envato elements to do some cinemetics with these sounds. Some of are really great in creating the right mood then the SE sounds. Let me know what you think ;)
You know what.... this is REALLY well done. The sound effects, the editing, the on hull camera shots...... just top notch stuff. Thoroughly entertaining and exciting. Bloody good job. 😊

I love cylindrical boats. I usually design my boats in this way. 'Cause I drilled a tunnel and built a base in the meteorite The shape of the ship is perfect for my base, so the Baramba Hypermod is very pleasing to me. I took a lot of modifications to this model, such as a mining ship, a vanilla armed ship. and use it as the main ship in my world

might be a year old but still solid cinematic aryx has been a solid staple in SE weaponry modded i hope itl be the same for SE2 when it gets out :D ( or at least devs could learn from the mod and implement it lol

I want to get into this game. But it looks rather complex to learn. The defense and building mechanisms are what interests me the most.
The game really isn’t that complex once you learn the basics, I mostly spend my time building and designing tanks and other ground vehicles in a creative world. If you want to learn more complex things such as timer blocks to automate things then there are plenty of RUclips videos out there to help and the community it very kind with newcomers
the game IS complex, but has a lot of positive feedback, once you learn everything becomes much more easier, and the automation makes sure to the mid and late game not be a slog, and even if you want just to focus on base building, you can just use the workshop ships.
Defence and building mechanisms along with knowing how to set up conveyors are key to this game (along with knowing that ion thrusters don’t work in atmo effectively)

I forgot to mention that one; it's Mexpex' Enhanced Thruster Visuals. Only works on hydrogen thrusters.
aryx weapons, my favorite weapons mod, its a shame the railguns need modded energy sources because of the ridiculous power
consumption being almost impossible to use with vanilla reactors.
