I'm so glad to see your WoW content returning! I finally nabbed CE (my first!) this current tier. I played 8/9 as RDruid, but had to play HPal on Zskarn since we lacked bomb handlers. In 10.2 i plan to stick with RDruid as it looks like i'm still also the only Druid buff... but i'm preparing my Mistweaver and Priest "Just in case". Honestly i'm just ready for the new raid. Aberrus was overall very fun... especially Rashok!! But i'm ready for something new :)
Congratulations on CE! That's a huge achievement! I definitely know how it is when you need to swap to another healer for particular fights. I usually swap to holy paladin or priest at some point in a tier due to our raid comp. I'm happy to hear you'll be maining resto druid! I'm not a huge fan of the grove guardians talent, but that's only because it feels like an extra ability that we now need to manage. It doesn't change our overall rotation that much. With that said, though, druid has been a lot of fun in all the fights I've tested, so I think you might enjoy it!
@@LayriaYT I honestly don’t mind Grove Guardians. I generally dislike anything RNG when it comes to healing, but I’ve tried to reframe their Nourishes as like… “icing on the cake”. I love how they’re instant cast. I love the charge system they have. I love the insta-Swiftmend and WildGrowth. It could certainly feel less clunky though. I played some Classic WoW as Resto Druid so the spot healing play style isn’t TOO wonky to me, haha. I always have been and always will be a Druid main! Can’t wait for the patch and all the new customization as well!
I also love the cooldown time on grove guardians! I need to go through all the new druid forms and make a list of the ones I REALLY want. I have a feeling they will also take up a lot of my time next patch!
Fellow Resto Druid From the U.K. here! your YT channel just popped up on my recommended, nice video, personally I am not a fan of the changes to R-druid in 10.2 I really dislike the grove guardians gameplay over a third of our healing being passive an coming from pets is off putting to me. there is less emphasis on being proactive an knowing the damage pattern of the fight an ramping correctly, an more emphasis on just being reactive and spamming grove guardians plus regrowth, i think they have definitely lowered the skill expression an moving away from the core of what I considered R-druid gameplay for a long long time. so i think i will probably focus on one of the other druid specs this patch at least :( anyway nice vids, an i gave your twitch a follow also.

So far, grove guardians just feels like an extra ability we need manage in addition to our regular rotation; there's nothing exciting about it. I plan on maining resto druid next tier, but I'll also maintain an alt healer when I want to switch things up!
