Tzitzi-Ya-Ku belongs in S tier because all he does is show up out of no where, flash the monster you're fighting then leave
He's literally your best friend in the Coral Highlands.
And in Iceborne it's Savage jho, but unlike tzitzi, he literally helps you kill the monster lol, i remember i didn't do much effort when hunting anjanath in GL because savage jho literally slaughtering him to almost near death..

IMO Great Jagras is incredibly good. It's obviously a cake walk for vets but it's really good for new players, it's punishing enough to teach players that this isn't a brainless hack n slash but not too punishing that they quit.
Jagaras pukei and kulu are my favorites by far. Less is more imo, Kirin was ok and ratholos was too. Other than that I didn’t like any of the iceborn monsters too much.

Odogaron has a special place in my heart. Most exciting fights hands down.
Just fought him today. So agressive! Using LS I had to get him into an enclosed space to negative it's wide sweeping attacks. That thing was relentless!

Odogaron fights are more than fights.
It's a dance of death, you weave left, he weaves right. He steps back, you move forward. Eyes locked on each other.
No other monster can do this like that.

Scarred Yian Garuga so annoying that he’s not even tier worthy?
He's also the least hunted monster in IB (yup even the "fish" are more hunted than him).
I feel like scarred was a last minute addition: no armour set and only drops one new material plus base Yian-garuga doesn't have a set bonus (should've been resentment secret) moreover its icon doesn't appear in it's intro cinematic against Deviljho (I know it's super minor but I really wished that was fixed with all the patches/updates we've gotten).
Also super forgettable I wouldn’t blame arekkz if he forgot about him
A variant that's exclusive to the Tempered level is fucking weird, I don't really understand the decision to do that. I feel like they could have just given Garuga the spam fireball Scarred has and just not bothered.

I actually love Bazel even with the invasion mechanic, I love the chaos with friends when you hear the theme play.
Raging brachy is straight S tier IMO, his final stage is kinda has darksouls soundtrack vibes which is amazing :D,
He could be better, if only he spent more time in his final phase and less in his other phases.

I find the last phase easier than the beginning phase. No need to worry about ground exploding every few seconds just make sure to not stand on red every now and then.

I actually agree with your list for the most part. I would drop Silver Rathalos down a peg, and raise Kulve Taroth and Safi up to the top since fighting them was so enjoyable.

Ancient leshen one of my favorites.
I wish the leshen got an armor set. He'd be worth the fight. I need a rematch with him after his ancient version kept curb stomping me.
I hated every minute of the Leshen fight. Now admittedly I did it very late (literally last week) so I had to solo it. But being stuck with crappy weapons and gear and taking 48 minutes to complete the quest made me so mad that I will never fight him ever again. I don't hate any of the monsters I will happily fight them all, except those two. But I knew when he said there were 66 monsters to go through that he had forgotten the Leshens.
I loved piscines but rip Both Brachys allways hated them both are the ugliest monster By a long shot.
Nergigante is my favorite, it's fun to fight and it's armor deserves it's own God Tier hahah.
Definitely agree with Tigrex and Glavenos! Brachy definitely grew on me, I'm fond of Legiana and Beotodus as well.

Stygian Zin is S tier for me, same with Raging Brachy

We all have different lists. Kirin is probably my favorite Elder Dragon ever, followed with Namielle. But overall monsters the Zinogre series are my favorites.

Why is no one talking about the fact that Rajang no longer throws giant boulders or trees at you? That was always my favourite move! It was so goddamn cool! When he threw thekm at you through the whole area maybe killing other small monsters in it's way. And it was so iconic too!
I think the making of that would be very hard since you yknow, this is a high quality game unlike in previous gens (Yes quality, that means more smoother designs).

When someone tells me that Lao-Shan Lung was an “awesome” fight, I lose all faith in their judgement
Zorah Magdoras is worse. At least with Lao there was tension when he got to the second fortress if you were to do it solo; as you were constantly worrying about fortress integrity. With Zorah there wasn't a single moment of that. Capcom actually managed to make a siege more boring than Lao-Shan Lung.

My boy Bazel was done dirty. I miss him helping out in my hunts! Your standard invaders like Jho? Your loving couples like the Raths? Pain in the arse. But when the best tune in the game fires up while you're fighting something and Bazel starts dropping his payload to lend a hand? SSS TIER
A see you're a hunter of culture as well. I love both Bazels. One of my favorites if not my favorite. But I wish the armor didn't have that Lion theme. It doesn't make sense to me. I hope they change it in the next game.

Anjanath imo is the most well rounded monster in the roster
When i saw full list i was astonshed by amount of monsters we got to fight in this game (including eventual entrance of Alatreon).
Little known anjanath fact: they have deployable quills on their tails.

I know a lot of people will disagree with me but Bazel is one of my favourite monsters in the game, with his visual and sound design most likely being where my bias comes from, I'm always a fan of destructive power and his biology of dropping explosive seed-bombs is, as far as I've seen, quite a unique gimmick, plus the amount of times his insatiable need to fuck with every other monster in the area has actually helped me progress is actually kinda ridiculous, he's a complete badass, and when I saw his Iceborne variant I just fell in love with him even more, also the weapons and armour of both variants look cool as heck
Lunastra/Teostra are actually pretty fun to fight with an Insect Glaive in the air. Other weapons... not so much.

Teostra in Z-tier is fair because it's easy, but calling Lunastra "Blue Teostra" is not fair in MHW, since it's pretty much her own monster... Still sucks so keep her in Z-tier lol (unjustifiably difficult at times imo).
The only thing Z-tier monsters have going for them is their looks sadly.

You kinda lost me at putting tiggy in s tier. he's like a damn diablos that knows how to drift
In terms of looks alone, Shara Ishvalda is top dog, both forms, one is a mountain you hit with sticks, the other one is a nightmarish demon dragon. Diviljho is a giant pickle with ridiculously small arms, also it needs an orthodontist.

Fulger Anjanath became my favourite subspecies introduced in iceborne, mainly for the fact that when he has lightning charging in his mouth and tries to bite you, you can hear a thundercrack. SO COOL!

Rathalos will always have a special place in my heart. Yeah he's like the mascot of the game but when I first saw him as a kid in my first ever handheld console(PSP), something about him just captivated me.
Man, I would love to see Lagiacrus (and its awesome variants ivory and abyssal ) in the game. Also Gore Gagala and Gigginox ( for the awesome vampire like gear)
They were gonna add Lagiacrus into world but the skeleton was messed up. I heard it moved like one of those wiggler things
I love kirin so much though, it's a lot of fun fighting her with a hammer and once you get used to the lightning its not too bad. Plus she is so majestic!

For me Gold Rathian is a whole Tier of her own which is Tier G. The goddess tier. Before every hunt I pray to my Goddess Gold Rathian for her Divine Blessing. When I fight challenging monsters she always watches over me and gives me Divine blessing at crucial times with attacks that would normally destroy me and for that I thank her for all of her divine power to keep her apostle safe from harm. Whenever I fight Gold Rathian it is a test of faith to see if I am still worthy of receiving her Divine Blessing and must prove my worth.
Blackveil honestly should be in Z-minus tier
For me Shara Ishvalda is forever ruined after I realised that it looks like overgrown Pukei Pukei

Bazelgeuse's invading involves it crashing you without any warning, and spam those irritating explosive scales. Deviljho is also annoying, but it is pure physical at most of the time and doesn't crash you out of nowhere.

I would rate Brachydios a lot higher because I freaking LOVE the battle theme❤️
Personally, my favorite monsters are Glavenus, Brute Tigrex, Stygian Zinogre, Chaotic Gore Magala, Valstrax, & Gammoth. I don't know why, but there's just something symbolic about fighting each of them, imo. As for my favorite armors, I'd have to say the armors for Gammoth, Banbaro (they look like ancient Vikings), Gore Magala, Alatreon (very sinister looking), Brute Tigrex (makes you look like an absolute beast), & Blackveil Vaal Hazak (the male armor set gives me Lich King from WoW vibes) are my favorite.

Teostra is fine. A bit of a boring easier than expected fight but its not badly designed or anything... Lunastra and Kushala on the other hand have very bad design with the fire puddles on one and constant flight plus ridiculous head trip on the other.
Kirin is A tier tho for sure. She teaches you so much about evading and when to strike. Fighting her is either a 5min breeze or hell. Really well designed especially in world
