Nice job. I just picked up a battered sunfish that appears to be waterlogged. Hopefully I'll be able to get it back on the water this year.

I restored a 1967 wooden Sunfish, but this seems like a lot of work for something that can be purchased second hand in better shape for $750. And, yes, I do know how much the epoxy and fairing compound costs. More than a used Sunfish.

The only battens I found were only 1". Do you remember where you got your battens?
Makes me think that 's used Sunfish might not be a bad deal after all. That was a pretty severe repair.. could be a great project!
