      If he did just the bass part. Sadly it wouldn’t be as enjoyable, cause even in polyphia, the bass does get stiffed a bit like other bands, not as much, but yeah. Still not the most Bass centered band when they have 2 of the best guitarists on the planet. So of course he covered the guitar part. Otherwise. It’d be pretty boring lol

    • @gropadooper8903
      @gropadooper8903 2 года назад +6

      It looks harder but it’s more likely to be around the same level of difficulty. He is using a 6 string bass, the same amount of strings a guitar has so it’s way easier. Also although it looks way harder cause there is more movement involved, It’s about the nature of the instrument itself, a bass doesn’t normally play Melodies like this, it certainly wasn’t made for it. So of course it looks hard. Not saying that Charles isn’t talented, this man is by far one of the best bass players in this generation, just remember, So are the Guitar players in Polyphia.

    I would also like to see Charles series "the hardest songs" playing the easy legendary songs of the past.
    Something like "Toto-Rosana/Can't Wait any longer", "Cindy Laupert - Girls just wanna have fun" and so forth.
    This guy is just pure talent!! Extremely mesmerising vision and composition!
    Beautiful

      Nope, not a guitar cover in any way. I actually doubt that Tim could 'slap' it without a buttload of practice. Slapping is not picking OR finger picking - it's Slapping.

Congratulations Charles, the best Bass player in the world.

    My mind was not blown watching this video.
    It violently burst when I first discovered this channel, with many of the maimed pieces of brain flesh being ejected in all directions, hailing down and culminating in a blanket of blistered and cauterized meat, and the remainder liquefied and/or sublimated and recondescended. The prospect of collecting what can be recovered, and the subsequent itemizing, arrangement and meticulous reassembly of the heavily singed, mutilated and now decaying bits of brain is , I am afraid, effectively unrealistic- especially not after sustaining this level of brain damage.
    However, watching Charles play is well worth it. I'd do it again.

    I know your hero is Victor Wooten, but man… I think you’ve surpassed him mate. And I think you probably know this, and it might make you a bit uncomfortable, but it’s ok. You wouldn’t have got where you are without Victor inspiring you, and it’s your time to be that for a new generation.
    I think you’re the greatest bass player alive… How does that feel?
