Ive built several of these, just a word of advice the fuel box always needs a lid on it to get air to come through the bottom

I watched this a few weeks ago and had to come back to it.
Must be getting old. Couldn't remember how it did it much about it.
Glad you have these posted for reviewing. LOL

I've found that dropping some small kindling right down the chimney helps to get it drawing sooner.

The problem I have with this stove is that it has too much inlet area. This causes inadequate air speed over the fuel, causing flames to spread up the stick rather than burn just the end of it. The way to fix this is to just close the lower duct and rely on the air coming in through the fuel duct. Only open the lower for when you have to clean out ash or if you're somehow burning pellets in that thing.

I just did a review of the rocket stove we got from BattlBox on my little channel. I used the bottom part to start the fire, and then used the big top loading compartment

I am just curious, do you have diabetes? I noticed the thin black line coming from your zipper and into you pocket, so I am wondering if you have an insulin pump. My son has an insulin pump however his line is clear not black. I never would have thought for him to run his line through his zipper and into his pocket, that would be a great solution to allow for tucking in a shirt. Regardless of if you are or not you have inspired us. I adore your videos, thanks so much!

I really like the minute man product ,but 3 out of 10 people can afford it ,I found one in the classified ads for one third the price and it was made better ,and it came with paint ,some where in every town someone is making these awesome stoves for extra money,I purchased an Amazon China model that was returned immediately, once you cook on a rocket stove you'll love cooking more outdoors ,my 24" disc fits nice ,Dutch oven , I carve wood outside in the winter with my trusty rocket stove, enjoy.

I was very disappointed Brian. You never performed the standard aerodynamic balance test with this product. Just kidding. Rocket stoves are pretty cool, but this one would be way bigger than I'd need for general purposes. Good video though
