Mystery City was a club in London in the 80's. A great band McCoy great song writer, Monroe great front man - fantastic combo! I had all this gig on VHS tape back in day.
I love the low rumbling style of playing the drums that he had. It creates a different base line than what some other drummers prefer. I love Razzle´s relaxed yet efficient style of playing.
This surely does KICK ASS big time!!!! I saw them in October 1984 so they were really like this - I've never got over it!!!! Loving your work......Mo x
Rock was just rising at this time. Hanoi was massive in the 70’s and 80’s. Andy McCoy taught Nikki Sixx how to and where to get drugs in LA when Nikki was just a young boy starting up a band called Mötley Crüe. Hanoi is as old school as old school gets. 😂

Love the song and the band but the fact that you have "Crue" in your name just destroyed the whole thing. You tarnished Razzle's memory by associating him with a band of which the singer is a murderer.

Because it is. They only got lumped in with that whole L.A. hair thing because of, well... their hair, which was really more of just a tribute to bands like the New York Dolls. The music and the attitude couldn't be any more different than shit like Motley Crue and Poison, but in the 80's everything was marketed on looks in the music biz, and they put Hanoi Rocks into that category.

Such a great band. Still have a few of the earlier albums on yellow and blue vinyl.
I'm just now writing a book about Andy with him.
Lamppu Can you ask Andy to elaborate on his claim that Razzle did time in prison for Drink Driving and killing someone? This is what Andy wrote in his book.
Tony Cruse No, misunderstanding. Vince Neil killed Razzle as you know.
But in Andy’s book, Andy said that before Razzle joined Hanoi Razzle was in prison after a similar incident.
Tony Cruse I'll check it. You mean Sheriff McCoy? I read it in Finnish when it came out and don't remember that.
Lamppu Yes. I’m amazed you missed that. I couldn’t believe it when I read it.
Look at GnR Live at The Ritz and watch this concert in full. No Hanoi Rocks, no GnR.
The sound effectively kicks! Thank for the technical effort. Rock on !

NOW IT'S EXCELLENT! Nice one CrueLoaf!
And this is the 83rd! GN'R will do something similar only in a couple of years. Fabulous!
Still waiting the come back of Andy. He told me there's lots of songs to record and release. Not by Hanoi but Andy's solo band I guess.
I'm sure we'll see at least one album sometime
love,,,
nice!
WOW
I was there.
This is pretty good
@hanoirocks74 I've got it on dvd, but maybe I'm just lucky? If it's not out there, keep asking for it so everybody can get it and see it!
the dogs bollocks , great band .

I just found a DVD of it on ebay for only $19.99 (:
