I remember playing this game back in the day. I seriously thought this came out between 2003-2004, but apparently it came out in 2008? Anyways, back then in the day, this was my first horror game. Seriously, this was terrifying for a kid, especially when you play in 10 FPS.
DUDE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW HAPPY I AM THAT I FINALLY DISCOVERED WHAT THIS GAME WAS CALLED I REMEMBER SOMEONE IN MY KINDERGARTEN CLASS PLAYING THIS ONCE AND I'VE NEVER SEEN IT SINCE
This game is even more visually disrupting than I remember. It’s used to scare the shit out of me when that ugly ass glob monster popped up out of nowhere.
Me and my siblings would all gather around the family computer to play this game. The bravest would take the reins and the rest of us would watch. And then when the red thing’s music started we would all scream and run out of the office. Great times.
When I was in elementary school watching my classmates play it seeing that cutscene I opted to play the SweeTarts 3d game instead. I even remember the conversation they had: One of them asked "What does the red monster do? Take away your Laffy Taffys?" and the other said "No, he just eats your flashlight battery."
Oh god... it’s all coming back to me... I made my dad play this for me because I was too scared of the monsters! Does anyone remember the one that was underwater?
It's possible he saw one of the wangdoodles (red monster things) use that path, because yeah - there's a bug where they can actually get into that room, even though I think they're not supposed to.
Man, I was seeking for this after I got a core memory, and for the first time since 2008 I guess that I watched at first it's a Speedrun of this Nightmare Fuel game. Amazing.
I believe it came out in either 2004 or 2005. I remember playing these Wonka flash games in my classroom with the rest of my 5th grade class. Good times...
I used to play this a lot back in the day like in the late-2000s back in my elementary school days god this brings back nostalgia hah, those whangdoodles scared the heck out of me and when they'd come out of nowhere I always thought they were the ones laughing since laugh sounds very sinister
Some people saved them (mainly the ones that had an official desktop version in addition to being playable in browser), so they're still circulating online. 3D Pyramid is one of the easier to find ones since it had a desktop version. The Internet Archive has a few Wonka games, and Flashpoint has tons of them. Also, RUclips likes eating this comment.
I was glancing at this game from time to time, and I thought only one thing; doesn't the main character look a little bit like Monkey D Luffy? This is only from the hat and from the red shirt. I didn't even see the character's face.
Me, watching the gameplay: Man, some '90s games have aged real badly.
Me, noticing the game was released in 2008: wait wat
I believe this game came out in 2004 (know for a fact I played it in school around 2006 or 2007), doesn't make it that much better though
@@JuneLeijon I was going to say, I played it in 2005 or 2006.
THIS MAN DID IT! He beat the source of my childhood trauma that gives me nightmares to this day! He did it so fast, too!
RIGHT! I was so scared of the red dude
He beat the demon itself!!
very helpful couch commentary.

This game was a repressed memory up until today
This game is even more visually disrupting than I remember. It’s used to scare the shit out of me when that ugly ass glob monster popped up out of nowhere.
This is the best run.
And nobody can tell me otherwise.
The late night speedruns are the best
This run is such a meme and I love it
I swear this game looked a lot better (and scarier) when I was in elementary school.

I... I remember beating this game.
Oh dear, I'm getting old.
Oh dearie me
Kid coulda just dropped a couple bucks at the store for some taffy, venturing through a deadly temple seems a bit extreme.
I’ve never had Laffy Taffy before and this isn’t making me want to
The game is nightmarish, but I do recommend the candy. ^ ^
Maybe the marketing strategy was to say that this candy is to *_die_* for!
oh my god this is probably the deepest memory in my brain uncovered what the fuck
4:44 ... Is that King Boo's laugh?
I played this game years ago. I never thought I'd see it speedrun, let alone at GDQ. I can't believe there's tech for this game.
Runner introduction starts at 00:28
Run starts at 00:45
LLK is host.
And the "Joke I Don't Get" award goes to: 5:20
How is the letter "T" in the middle of water OH DAMNIT I GET IT NOW
omg this just released memories from the deepest recesses of my brain
This game scared me as a kid
this game was creepy asf back in the day lmao
core memory unlocked
I’m glad I wasn’t imagining this game lmao
Oh god... it’s all coming back to me... I made my dad play this for me because I was too scared of the monsters!
Does anyone remember the one that was underwater?

you can hear someone go “WHAT???” when he says it too

Amazing.
Video games... are good.
99% sure this game came out long before 2008
I believe it came out in either 2004 or 2005. I remember playing these Wonka flash games in my classroom with the rest of my 5th grade class. Good times...
I loved playing this Laffy Taffy 3D Pyramid Adventure game a lot from the past.

I remember I played this game a lot as a kid
I never knew I needed to watch this game, but here we are 💛
It hits differently for those of us who remember playing it between 2005-2007.
I remember playing this game with my siblings and cousins back in the day...
Those were interesting times
I’m noticing this was uploaded a little less than a year ago. Anybody know where they found this since Wonka got rid of the good games?
ive been thinking the same
