But we don't know anyone there and worry over accommodation as we keep hearing finding an accommodation as new immigrant is almost impossible. We plan on staying in an Airbnb on the first month of arrival. Now my question is this= after that one month in an airbnb, how possible is it for us to get an accommodation (like renting a basement) as a new immigrant? Thanks

An update to the process and CBN directives now stipulates that the receiving account should be domiciliary

I am not sure what province/city you are heading to but newcomers get accommodation all the time. It all depends on your budget and preference
