Update. Installed and making babies. It fixed all the issues with my 2018 ram. ( hard downshift from 5-4 only down shift ) Purchased at us diesel parts
Just blew out my SunCoast stage 3 again for the 3rd time in 2 years, now I know why they offer a 3 yr warranty so you can drive down to Florida every year for rebuild... I'm seriously considering switching to you guys and getting your stage 4 68RFE then I can have my own Babymaker 1000!
I keep going back and forth on manual swapping my 18 or putting one of your built 68s in it. Going to cost the same amount either way and I miss having a pissing hot manual diesel. Being able to just hop in throw it in gear and go is nice though.
Great video, I need to replace my valve body and feel like I can do it myself with this. The six liberals that were offended enough by your jokes to give you a thumbs down will just have to take it to the shop!
Does your transmission in that mega cab truck make a loud grinding sound when shifting from 3rd to 4th gear? I have a built 68 and mine makes a annoying sound during that gear change sequence since installed.
Thanks for the reply. I pull a 16’ enclosed tool trailer everyday for work. I’m considering your product. Can you tell me why I should get it?(Hope that’s not to much to ask)
Be jackasses like Chrysler and ship them in Manual 1st so you don’t line up the shifter every third one 😂😂 y’all get oe shift solenoids? Hopefully the non recall ones 😂😂
Actually, it’s an impact driver, which starts as a screw gun, and impacts at end of drive for torquing. Perfectly fine. No impact at the start of the set. These guys know their sh%#
@@jeremyjohnson4718 Sure, as long as you didn't cross thread them to start. I'll stick to hand threading them to start anywhere there's a chance of a leak or something important falling off. The few seconds saved is not worth having to replace a bolt or rethread a hole, especially in an area with not much metal surrounding the hole.
@@zaappp1588 try holding a 30 pound valve body over your head and you will pick up the electric gun also and if you cross thread it you shouldn't touch it in the first place
The breathing is killing the video!!!
Is the heavy breathing required for the install?
I like how you guys have fun and joke around but at the same time still take your time to do everything right and add serious notes 👍🏻
Good information on the install, Thanks!
drove my 2009 ram 3500 welding truck with zero issues and loaded from new 186miles/300k kms and changed the oil once. sold it and it's still going
Nice video guys made it look so easy I just purchased the baby maker package. Will update with a review once installed.

Any benefit for a stock truck?

Does the cameraman have the mic next to his nostril?
Yes I’m new to diesels. I have a question..... so transmissions have filters??? Do I need to change my filter in my 2019 cummins? 68rf trans. Thanks
There is a spin on filter and and a press in filter we recommend 30k on hard working trucks the fluid is arf+4

What is the steel insert for.
kirk ketelsen I’m guessing stronger, I could be wrong but the stock one is plastic
The orginal is plastic and is known for backing off....thus screwing you.
The camera guy needs to check his health
All that work and it still has a Stock thermo bypass valve
and?
You send to puerto rico
You can hear the cameraman breathing
channel locks work a lot better if u use them correctly
Sounds like somebody is snoring in the background.
The breathing is killing me....
The audio.
Let’s talk money. What’s the cost
When I changed my fluid and filter on my 68 trans, it took 12 quarts to fill it back with stock pan. 🤔
@@tater0909 Mine took 10 qts but I did leave it dripping while I changed all the other fluids. Stock everything
