Thank you for your video - I'm an American booked for the World Cruise on Arcadia departing Jan 2025, and I'm trying to learn all I can about Arcadia and tips from other travelers. Hope you enjoy cruising more!
Thanks for sharing, Georgie! I'm glad you had fun. I'm glad you didn't catched the virus and you looked stunning with that dress. PD: you were glowing everytime the sun was lighting the room 🙂
I have never been on a cruise before so this video was very enlightening for me. Even though the video is long it is worth watching every minute. I would consider this a very good review video packed with juicy details. Thanks for sharing.
Interesting assessment of Arcadia. My family and I cruise a lot. Up to 12 cruises a year. We've done over 50 with P&O since 2009. Your report on Arcadia, as a newbie to cruising, was an interesting insight to how younger people (we are in out 70s) see cruising and cruisers. We will be on Arcadia for two 'Back 2 Back' cruises throughout December. If you liked the New Years Eve fireworks in Hamburg you should try to see the ones in Naples or, better still, Funchal Madeira. They are breath-taking. Next time you go on a cruise ship try to peek into some of the other cabins or suites and find out the differences between the services provided in different cabin grades. You might be surprised. For instance room service, no matter what you order, is free if you are a suite passenger. Also suite passengers have a separate restaurant for their breakfast service with a totally different menu to that in the buffet or the MDR. On some cruise lines all alcoholic beverages are complimentary and on others spa treatments, like massages, are free. As you said about shore excursions - do your research. That way you will get the best out of cruising.
Thank you so much for your comment and the recommendations! Will take a note of those tips, especially about other rooms. Very excited for what is next on our cruising journey!
My wife and I are going on Arcadia in 3 weeks from Southampton to the top of Norway and back. We are flying into into Heathrow from Sydney Australia. This will be or 16th cruise, but our first in the northern hemisphere. Thank you for the great review, and welcome to our addiction 😊
Hi, I hope you don't mind an entirely off topic comment, but I just wanted to say OXV is one of my favorite films . I'm not sure how you feel about it or what your experience was being involved, so I apologize if me saying so is unwelcome in some way I'm unaware of. Hope life is good to you, and may your frequencies interfere constructively with the world around you ~
Not at all, it has been one of my favourite roles to play ever! I feel like one day I should do a Q&A dedicated to it because I get so many questions about it 😂
Brilliant vlog enjoy your future travels 👍🤓
Thank you!
