  • The Lincoln Electic Power MIG 210 MP is a multi-process welder that comes in a kit with everything needed to start welding. The kit even includes two spools of wire, a one-pound spool of .025 mild steel, and a one-pound spool of flux-core wire. With the flux-core wire you don't even need shielding gas. Input voltage can be either 120V or 230V, and it comes with both plugs.
    The Power MIG 210 MP is very intuitive so the novice can start welding within minutes of unboxing. Through the use of the three knobs and LCD screen, the user inputs the wire diameter and the metal thickness. From these inputs, the Lincold Power MIG 210 MP welder automatically sets the Volts and Wire Feed speed. The user can still trim the controls to tune specifically to the job.
    Lincoln does not include a TIG torch or foot control for the TIG process, so TIG welding is not possible out of the box. Pricing for the 210 MP runs about $1,400. Add the TIG torch and foot control, and the price is going to run close to $2,000.
    This is a very easy welder to use and is a great option for the beginner, novice, or even someone that needs multi-processes but doesn't weld all the time.

    Lincoln: You sell a multi welding machine but you don´t get the TIG gun. Like buying a car with 3 wheels. Get your act together Lincoln.

    Sounds likea great machine. I wish mine would turn on. Hopefully AirGas has the answer but I don't want to wait 3 weeks to have it fixed!!

      That's great to hear. These are great little welders. That spool gun will come in handy. Nice purchase.

    How does this old machine compare to the new 215?

    Could make a 2 way splitter where the gas line comes in

      that is correct, you can do that. Not a bad idea if you want to TIG and MIG from this machine.

    I keep having an issue with stick welding . it seems that it won't keep an arch . once I do have an arch its only able to keep it for seconds . I run 7018 3/32 at 100amps.

      I don't claim to know a lot about welding. I'm self-taught. I can hold my own, but I don't claim to be all that good. Why is he pulling? I have always thought that you push when MIG welding...if it slags, you drag...

    You did not even learn the machine yourself before shooting the video? TWO gas inlets for what?

    • @Shoptoolreviews
      @Shoptoolreviews  3 года назад +11

      I know this machine very well. I was making a point that other machines include 2 gas inlets for different processes. Such as, TIG uses 100% Argon, while MIG typically uses CO2/Argon. If you only have one gas inlet, then you have to switch this line every time you change processes. If you have 2 inlets, there is not need to switch the lines. Thanks for watching.

      Richard you might want to think things through before you start criticizing people who actually know what they're talking about.

    It’s all great until the screen goes out and then you can’t do a thing. These machines have great bells and whistles and can make the most rookie welder think he/she is a professional. For the home hobby person Lincoln/Miller/Esab is going to take all your money and then tell you to kick rocks when the machine breaks down out of warranty. Stick to a transformer and learn how to weld!

    • @jeremy7923
      @jeremy7923 4 года назад +9

      It has a 3 year warranty... do you expect them to service it and give parts for free forever? Just curious. They also sell a 5 year warranty for this unit for an extra $115. Am I missing something?

    • @Pandauprising
      @Pandauprising 3 года назад +1

      @@jeremy7923 I dont think you are. This would be a great welder for rookies who have the extra cash to throw at it. All the info it provides on the lcd just helps get people familiar to the nominal values while giving the user more time to focus on laying a good bead. if anything I think this thing would be great for someone looking to get into welding and has limited practical knowledge on what feed speed, voltage settings, material tolerances and so on, especially if they are teaching them selves. Better to learn the correct things on a crutch than to learn the wrong things by trying to show off.
