This has to be my favourite elusive target I've ever done, usually I just play them for rewards but this blew me away. that moment when the lights turn on blew my mind I got so excited.
Yeah, I feel like this one would be very nice to have around. I know it breaks the philosophy of elusive targets, but having it full time would be better imo as there’s a lot of creativity to be had here

I disagree this was the worst edited video of elusive target so far, yes you can kind of understand? But there is so many cuts for no reason I rather the video be slightly longer than having no context or body, nobody even got to explain they're just revealing what they had so far with no real finish here apart from Linkus. Atrioc please, I hope you never stop making Hitman content with your amazing friends. I still regularly rewatch old hitman horses that I've seen 5 times already. In fact I bought the game because of you. Just, whenever I'm bored and I've refreshed the youtube homepage 3 times scanning for something to watch and a 3 year old atrioc hitman video pops up, you know I click it and watch/rewatch the whole thing.
This was a perfect elusive target. I don't know if they all use the arcade to allow for practice runs but the way that this one did it was incredible. I spent hours running the arcade mode one trying to get SA/SO and it was such a rush when i got it in the real one. For a free event, this was an incredible amount of content
I'm guessing the version IOI gave them allows them to replay it. Once all the clones are revealed and marked as targets, you can't exit without failing (even in the arcade), and they did some restarts after that point.
@@logarhythmic6859 idk if there's a similar cheese on pc but at on xbox if i ever lose SA on an elusive target then i immediately pause and force quit the game and it allows me to restart immediately, sometimes works on mission fails too but its iffy
Atrioc said IOI wanted to sponsor one of the Hitman competitions he's hosted, so if he does another I think it'd be incredible if IO helped make the contract with Atrioc to make something more like this elusive target. A redesigned map with a bit of a narrative included for a single competition would be pretty cool.
Seeing the clones lined up 1 to 6 and having Diana say "I'm authorizing additional targets" is cool because you know 6 targets is beyond the normal maximum for a contract and here you'll have only one attempt. But then your screen starts lighting up in places the clones are not and a double-digit number for clones remaining appears and you're freaking out but everyone is still talking normally in their Jean Claude van Damme accents like "look! I clon-éd a human! :-)" and you realize you still only have one shot to take out SO many targets that you haven't even really counted them yet... It's one of the most breathtaking reveals in video games. So cool. I love video games man.
I think this is a hint towards the kind of gameplay loop the 007 game will have to differentiate itself from the hitman series. High quantity of targets, simple dialogue system, less disguises available than average, etc.
007 is the pinnacle of suit only. I don't think disguises will factor too much in 007. Disguises are rare, obvious tactical gear uncommon, but both usually stripped away so he can get back to his suit. My guess & hope for 007 is a more involved game play than what this contract incorporated. "Kill this guy.....oh wait there's 12 more objectives". It'd be awesome if choices & actions of 007 in early missions have a major effect on future ones. I'd still play it but it would be a big disappointment if 007 is just a slightly tweaked Hitman.
@@hunterfisher5577 yeah that's what I was trying to say in regards to disguises. I could imagine maybe needing to dress up as a generic guard to infiltrate, or going from combat gear to a suit to gamble, but not impersonating someone specific like 47 does.
I hope they don't do the disguises. My ideal thing would be, to preserve it a little bit, is to have the different starts, but you don't change disguises after that. So say, you have to kill the boss of a fancy casino or whatever, you can go in the front door in a tuxedo, but you'll only have a pistol and some other small gear, or you can put on a full tactical gear, bring a lot of stuff, but if anyone sees you, they start shooting you, that sort of thing. I don't think knocking out a janitor, and taking his clothes is "very James Bond".
I came back to hitman after a bit of a hiatus to this elusive target. It blew me away how fun and involved it was that I didn't even think about doing a silent assassin run. I honestly didn't expect them to put this much effort into the target.
Imagine they added Steven Seagal and he had literally superpowers, like catching bullets and shit and the only way to kill him is to make him stand up from his office chair that he rolls around throughout the whole mission.
Imagine if instead of Max Valiant's clones, you were shooting Germans in Normandy, 1944 and unstead of Agent 47 you are Private Martin from Call of Duty in the first minute of the Codathon. That would be pretty cool I think.

Modern Hitman is amazing, between the continuing support from IOI and what streamers are doing to keep the game interesting, it truly is the golden age of 47.
This contract oozes creativity and fun. Whoever in the creative meeting suggested clones, and then got everybody to run with that concept to its fullest potential needs a raise.

Were you all able to restart the elusive target after starting due to it being early access or are there different rules for this one due to the insanity of the contract?
This was such a cool mission. That reveal of 13 clones is just...*chef's kiss*. My only complaint is that it should have been harder. Would have taken it from B+/A tier to A+ tier. Obviously not talking from a speedrunner's perspective lol. Hard enough for you guys.

Really loving these more intricate elusive targets with the celebrity tie-ins. Even Conor McGregor 's was unique despite the controversies. Hopefully we'll see even more of these elusive Target stories with even more celebrity cameos
This was a really fun elusive target, and the added complication of having to do it SASO was a fun added challenge I was proud I managed to pull off on my first try.
For those that haven't tried this Elusive Target yet, you can't restart once you've killed any target. Also, the moment where it's revealed The Splitter has clones, the game also locks you out of restarting. I'm assuming they had a special version of the game that didn't lock them out.

out of all the elusive targets I’ve played, this was by far the most interesting and most fun (this was the only elusive target I’ve done)
