    Didn't catch any discussion on sub-bass tho. I've heard others mentioned that as a high point of the IE600. What are your thoughts on this? [frame of reference: coming from Shure & ChiFi IEMs & Senneheiser headphones, as well as a wide range of speakers]

    Good morning from Toronto ☕️🥓🔥
    Been hearing a lot of good things about the Sen’s IEM’s.
    Currently enjoying the S12’s 😋
    Something about this IEM’s is intriguing 🤔
    Btw, still rocking my Sen’s HD650’s ..on tube’s 😊
    Great review as always ☕️🥓🔥

    What are the best I e m s as per you @SuperChonk Super Audi Show ??

      Well the best IEMs are purely subjective.
      I have many favorites such as the Etymotic ER4, The IE600, FiR Audio M5, Moondrop Variation, Mest 2, BQEYZ Autumn,
      At the end of the day it really is personal. It will depend on your favored signature and how trained your ears are.
      When your ears get more trained you can really pick apart the signatures that you prefer.

    Hi there. I just got my ie600 today but didn't like the stock silicon eartips very much. Which eartips would you recommend?

    • @SuperChonk
      @SuperChonk  2 года назад +1

      Hello! I agree with you, the stock tips are kinds lacklustre. Easy recommendations are the Azla Sednafit Earfit Lights (their sizing is a bit big, if you use a M get their SM) or the final audio type E eartips :)

    What’s the difference of those non PRO models from PRO models? Can 600 be still used for stage monitoring?

    • @SuperChonk
      @SuperChonk  2 года назад

      It can. Personally I know of musicians who prefer a warmer monitor as they can use it much longer

    How does it compare to the IER-M9? I know it costs $300 more than these, but I was looking at buying one of them

      I prefer the ier m9.
      The ie 600 is very good for the price, ironically enough sennheiser was known for their great mids with the hd6 series of headphones.
      But here the ier m9 has better mids and better details everywhere.
      The m9 is engaging and emotional too, the ie600 is more intimate, the m9 sound wide just a touch behind the ier z1r.
      You can't go wrong with either the ie600 or the ier m9, the m9 although it uses BA drivers it still sounds like a dynamic driver especially in the bass and mids, the treble is very special.
      The ie 600 isn't as good in the treble, but the bass and mids are great for the price.
      Engagement is about equal, cause both sound confident and authentic yet delicate in their presentation, the m9 does it better but not by much.

    Hi 🖐, i will happy if you help me🙏🏻 ,
    i need your experience!!
    next week i will finally buy an earphone
    but yet, i still couldn't choose a reliable earphone😑😤 because i don't have experience in this field!!
    & an important point that i want earphone just for the song, not for vocal !!! just the song !!!!
    the vocal doesn't matter to me , because I'm not listening vocal !!for the
    my style music(Trance,electric,Ambient)
    with flat-neutral sound !!!!!
    It should be perfect & excellent in all factors(with big wide,height,depth / soundstage & , Resolution, separation, & clean), especially mids ,upper-mids ,high treble,brilliance !!
    which earphones is it ??
    (Budget ~$1200)
    i was going to buy Monarch Mk2, but i gave up!!
    i will be happy if you have some recommend!! 🙏🏻

      @SuperChonk  2 года назад

      Actually I think the ie600 is very suitable for your style of music as trance and electric music does not require a large soundstage for it to be immersive.
      What is needed is the feel of a good beat and the ie600 does that really well

      Better than both Fiios, comparable with the SA6 but different. I would take the ie600 over all of them easily.
