I love this content and you seem to have a fun personality and were fun to watch. Can I suggest that you show more of the space and your floor plan ideas? I had to keep pausing to see what you were talking about and kept missing the shot because they went by so quickly. I’m slow…😅 but I really wanted to understand and try to visualize your suggestions and I had a hard time doing that. Looking forward to seeing what you do next!

I think a better designer/stylist for production tips is Noah Daniel.
@@chicky6three Paige definitely isn’t a designer, I mentioned her only because she used to just give the tips for styling rooms by describing her ideas, but then she found someone to help her do digital mock ups of the changes she suggested, which added a lot to the videos.

Welcome to RUclips Imani!! I love the idea of painting the ceiling! Is the ceiling textured? The thing that makes me nervous is how the gloss sheen would react to potential textured ceiling. This is coming from someone that has endured to popcorn ceilings in several of her spaces.

How do you feel about sheers? My ground-level windows face a busy street, and my sheers allow light in and allow me to see outside.
Love ‘em! I would add a roman shade as well just for extra privacy, but you can get those in a “light filtering” material so you'll still get natural light, but maintain privacy

I love the idea of a desk in front of my window-it’s all I’ve ever wanted-but I have a long, 2.5 foot tall radiator below it. It’s an oldish row home (maybe 1930s?) and we have an ugly wood and mesh cover over it for now-is it safe to put a wood desk in front of the radiator? Will that hog all the heat???

LOL...the first thing I do when I move into a new place is take down the ugly blinds/shades .and paint everything the way I like!! Paper shades are like $5/each and look so much better if u can't afford bamboo etc .❤

Lol my grandma did have her front room sanctioned off in plastic covers all over the furniture and kept her China there. I guess it gave her a feeling of having something that was just her own and was always nice for super special occasions. It does seem to be a cultural thing. But most of us don't own China anymore and plastic covers are considered tacky now so I guess that tradition has faded.
btw I loved all of your recommendations in this video and the lighting. It looked very artsy with the light peeking through 😌
