They're obviously doing it themselves at home. At one point the moderator says it's their first livestream and they were trying to work out the kinks. I watched a bit of it live and clicked away, but after seeing this replay, I realize now he dropped a lot o vital info and tricks in this video. More than a lot of 404 vids you see on youtube. All it needs is someone to get a copy of the original stream and run it through Izotope RX to even out the levels.

@@toastyghosty489 that's all in your head my guy. you can literally chop samples in ableton as many ways as you can think of. in their simpler, sampler, as a straight audio clip or using any other plugin like serato sample. I really don't even get what you are saying.

Edit: I got to know from other fans that the lady in the video is Dibiase’s wife, so my apologies extends to his wife for my critical review of what I thought was a Roland representative. Older text : After seeing both the parts very nicely, I came to certain conclusions. First Dibia$e is a true SP 404 goat and a fantastic beatmaker bar none. Second he is a very patient and extremely humble guy to his credit. Third, the woman in the video is a combination of incompetence and possibly slightly ill intentioned and sarcastic personality. I really don't like the fact that she tries to repeat the questions asked by viewers on chat by telling Dibia$e that she is "going to repeat the question" in a very imperative tone as if telling Dibia$e to figure it out for himself and she has no part in even the first level of interpretation. Somehow the tone puts me off a lot. I would tell her in place of Dibia$e's situation to lose that entitled tone and get down to brass tacks and 'summarize the question' for me and rephrase it for me. She also tried to do that time old trick of making the key people look bad by telling Dibia$e at the end of the first part that someone random from the chat said that the sound was clear to him and she immediately started asking Dibia$e "what did you do, yea, you did something ? cos the sound just became better" and once again in a tone as if making it sound as if it was his fault all along and he was doing it all wrong the whole time and somehow at the end of the workshop it went just right to her relief. Right after, she was continously smirking the whole time as if feeling contended to have disturbed Dibia$e right at the end. And of course we all know that her mic was sounding louder and she could have done the least and given DiBiase her mic, rather she let her incompetence and possible malice shine through. Props to Dibiase for keeping his cool for a global audience. I would have honestly told her to set things right, talk proper or not at all, or reschedule the workshop or just get out of the room. I like having things my way for sure. I get it too 99% of the time, its an art.
Ok sorry... my respects for Dibiase is strong so you guys can forgive me for my well intentioned but misinformed and misdirected feedback, with a bit of salt though. Things could have been better with a little bit more preparation, dunno why did not Roland step in with audio setup, made it very one sided, it’s a masterclass after all.
