Graet tips Jon! If you have an external zoom recorder like the Zoom H1N, it can also act as a microphone when you buy a cheap foam for it. I found it quite useful a few times :)
fun vid - i have very little desire to film myself, but you never know. i have a Gorlliapod? that i bought about 10 years ago, it doesn't pack as flat but i have been known to wrap it around a tree branch or street sign back in the days when i used to bother taking photos outside the house.
Thank you Louise! Gorillapod is a great suggestion and many youtubers still use it. It is more versatile but it also gets loose with frequent use. I wouldn't want to mount my camera on a branch, but the gorillapod definitely has the upper hand for uneven surfaces. If someone is making videos outdoors in the nature then gorillapod is the winner for sure! Many creators prefer the switchpod because it packs down easy and setup is really fast. No need to sit and play with it to get the camera standing up "just right" :)
Film with your phone and try this kit amzn.to/3GTUbxc I have used this before and it works great. The wireless audio with this kit is actually pretty good, and it's what I used before getting the Rode Wireless go II
@@fj1100mark Sure thing! here is a review I did, similar kit, same company, same wireless audio so you can hear for yourself ruclips.net/video/gbfmEuXJeb0/видео.html
I read “no friends” in the title and immediately knew this video is about me 😎

Good to see your beautiful face too
John 😍
$$$ too much at the moment.
Honestly you can get by with very affordable stuff. Your phone and a tiny phone tripod is a start :)!
