When Adam was made he was made into an adult, he wasn’t made a baby first, so that means God can create with age. God is not bound by time, he can create anything with age, force time through an object he creates in an instant that gives the object the appearance of age. Man is so silly trying to put limitations on the living Almighty God.
Imagine you build a program with certain rules that define it. To anything inside the program, it would be unthinkable for something to exist outside the rules that define it's existence. God defined the laws that order creation, he himself is not bound to them. God did not require efficient cause or finite regression, as our universe does. God does not require a creator as our universe does. Attempting to apply our (very limited and flawed) understanding of the universe on god is like a toddler pondering the mind and capabilities of a full grown man.
I agree in part but it's a no-go for the statement as a whole for me. I believe in the bible stories but I believe there's a larger more practical aspect to it all that isn't captured. I believed that is purposeful. You have to consider how real Adam is when his birth and the begining of written literature are likely separated by thousands if not millions of years ago. That's not too say there isn't underlying truth which can be found through science and psychology, even evolution. God is powerful indeed but history is much more linear than not. Surely many stories are true and proven with applicable research however the stories themselves are not all coherent because of how it's written leaving the reader in a position of deciphering the higher meaning. I doubt 1090000009000% that Adam started as a man.

@Boonie Price well for one Jesus is the name God carried when we was on earth. One reason I believe in only God. No where in the Bible can you prove a trinity. The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are all titles not names. So yes, Jesus is God but he can portray different aspects of his personality. Just like we are able to be a father to our kids, a son to our parents and also be our own person.

He responded he was told 30 years ago when he started working at the museum that the skeleton was 65 million years old and since that was 30 years ago it was now 65 million and 30 years old.

The major problem I have seen over the years in understanding and growing in the faith, is folks are lazy, nonchalant..an easy come easy go attitude towards their Christianity. and don`t read the bible from cover to cover in their free time. People rob themselves of God`s truth and are tossed around by secular doctrines, false teachers and drown in constant arguments when scripture is able to make us wise in every area of our lives.

The term 'dinosaur ' was first used in 1842. In the book of Isaiah he talks about great land lumbering beasts. The behemoth and leviathan are also mentioned. What makes me sad is Christians not taking this into consideration when presenting their arguments.
Just because you talk about "big lumbering beasts" is not proof they are talking about dinosaurs. In fact, there is no evidence in the bible for dinosaurs.

I was privileged and honored to be selected to illustrate a number of Noah's Ark and dinosaur/dragon related books for New Leaf Press (featured in this video). I just received my first "fan letter" from a youngster this week, who wanted to tell me of his love for the study of dinosaurs and also his appreciation of my work... he even decorated the letter with his own array of wonderful dinosaur illustrations. This thrilled my heart to know that the Christian/Biblical perspective is gaining traction among the children (and even us older children) out there, who have been mislead for so many years by "scientists" who assume their theories are fact without applying deeper logic. This was a wonderful lecture by Bodie, and I know its effects will spread as his audiences relay and repeat his arguments and talking points to others. Keep up the good work!
It's funny you say that but what evidence is there for biblical creation . That's right none. But their is overwhelming facts that back up evolution. So there you have it kids! The Land Before Time is an evil movie series. Even as a kid, I was self aware that their opening sequence was in direct violation of the creation story.
The thing is the big bang is not a proven scentific fact. Its proposed theory on how the earth came into existence (via the death of a first/random star without any creative hand) is also not consistent with the Genesis account God revealed to prophet Moses for us. So.. it fits under the category of personal faith (/worldview lens) since nobody was there at the time.. the beginning of all that was created for His pleasure and for this earth where God placed the human race. Those who wish to ignore God or deny His hand at creation are left struggling to come up with something/anything to explain the mystery or dismiss that mystery of creation and sustanence altogether, but the neverending questions remain. Who/What created the first star then? With no creator, something cannot come from nothing. It's worse now they have turned to looking for answers in a recreated "light" of their own making (rather than take awe at God's handiwork and crediting Him whilst exploring the science behind it just for fun ). Or worse some sound like they are now seeking a dimensional portal where some alien friend/creature gods may come out from inside their 'dark energy' 'dark matter' or 'black hole' finds/experiments. So I'd rather start on the right understanding, than travel with them and skew off-path.

Job 40:19 saying 🦕Behemoth🦕 being "first of the ways of God" makes me wonder if that didn't happen to be the first animal of Day 6. We can only fathom what pre-fall animals were like; I think some of the protective features of animals are just for general protection (in case you're thrown at a truck like a frisbee), but it's important to understand that God is artful, so some colorings or design features could be simply to make them aesthetic and enjoyable, and partly for them to attract a mate. Anybody wanting to use the "dangerous teeth" argument regarding meat-eating should check out the Asian 🦌sabre-tooth deer🦌, they are pretty wild looking. As snakes were strictly mentioned for post-fall going on their belly; such a mention poses understanding they didn't travel that way beforetime, which leads me to consider they may have had short limbs akin to what you'd see on an Eastern dragon. Behemoth is described as eating grass like an ox and having a navel. No dinosaurs ate grass, and no dinosaurs had navels. Behemoth is very clearly a mammal, not a reptile. Leviathan is described as having plates of tightly packed armor, something no semiaquatic carnivorous dinosaur had. Instead, it is a clear reference to the rows of osteoderm scutes seen on modern crocodiles.
Trust me, I let Eve know what I thought of her when I was laboring in childbirth! I have wondered what labor in childbirth would be if Eve hadn’t messed it up for all of us. Because as hard as it can be, it is so worth it when you get your baby. I wonder if we would appreciate the process and treasure it if it were different. I also wonder if maybe fear of labor may help slightly with “population control”!!! The natural order of things is that the best things in life don't come easy. If they did we wouldn't respect them. If you suffer and labor for something you respect it because you earned it. Pain is the reminder of an event and is the determining factor when deciding to do the same thing again knowing the consequences. Some women do it 10-15 times and continue to say it's the worst pain in the world. I disagree. Ask any man on earth whether he wants to pass a kidney stone 9 months after passing one.

I'm a Christian and years of loving science actually brought me here today. Weird how people try to keep science and God apart. They are very clearly connected. But I do have questions and I found that, so far, they always have a reasonable answer. So, when I heard the question, "Can God lie?" I felt a bit stupid. No, He can't, but God can do anything. So, He COULD if He wanted to, right?? He's perfect and Holy and good, so is it possible for God to lie? He can do anything, but lie? I know God has reasons for everything, and I am fine knowing that my little human brain isn't quite capable of understanding everything God does. But lying...He can't or He won't? Won't. The heavenly father been teaching with example since the beginning, rested on the last day to set an example not cause God was tired. Jesus picked up his cross. Science is a tool that can be used for good or/and evil. I am spiritual, I was raised Catholic. I dont believe in evolution,i believe we were created. I dont know what God is but I believe God exists.I just think our idea of God is much different than what God is. I dont believe in a specific religion, i take them all with a grain of salt. I think religion is each cultures attempt at understanding God. I follow the values&morals instilled in me by my parents&my catholic upbringing.

Re being hit by turtle, some carrion birds carry tortoise and turtle up high and drop them it's the only way they can get through the shell, it's quite frequent happening hence being shelled!! I have no idea if that's where the phrase originates but it sounds good though.. poor turtle
I vaugly remember a story about one of the ancient Greek philosophers, I can't remember his name but he was as famous as Plato when they were both alive. Anyways the story states a eagle flying above was carrying a turtle and mistook the philosopher bald head has a rock, he was killed by the impact when the eagle dropped the turtle on his head.
This is very good I always believed we were created growing up in a biblical backed home yet was forced to listen to teachers teach the revolutionary teachings I was challenged by my teachers when I challenged them with biblical creation yet I did not have the answers. Thank You for giving me the answers I will share them and spread the word ! I have been to both the creation and ark Museums and found them to be vary informative opening my eyes to the truth! I hope you have given the same amount of attention to evolution as creation, I didn't for way too long. I was a creationist for over 35 years and it just doesn't pan out. Evolution, when studied without the bias, explains our current world more accurately. It is not about something coming from nothing, because that is not evolution. Evolution properly explains the diversity of life on this planet.

Why would God use OUR idea of a day (one earth rotation) when He spoke the universe into existence? His day is not our day. His time is not our time. Also, this type of teaching is confusing. He is not a God of confusion. When the map differs from the terrain, always go with the terrain.

Correct birds do have their own class. But that class evolved from the class that contained dinosaurs. On class evolves from another, otherwise everything would still be bacteria.
Yup, great stuff, fills in alot of blanks that the worldly world view leaves out. Even before I became a believer, the creation story made more sense than the evolutionary world view. Yes because believing an invisible man in the sky wished everything in 7 days into existence, that all humans are the result of generations of inbreeding, and a senior citizen put every species on earth on a boat before the invention of steel and ventilation to survive a global flood which has no geological evidence is SOOO much more believable than centuries of scientific research that has been verified and tested that demonstrates the validity of evolution and the mechanics of cosmological bodies. 🙄

Have you heard of the crisis in replication? 50% of studies cannot be successfully replicated and this would be those that ARE replicated. There is little to no funding or prestige in attempting to replicate studies someone else has already done. And that's in the purely academic fields. Look at "The Science" where it relates to anything political, corporate or social and you'll see that scientists are human, not saints. Just as incompetent, prone to greed, cliques and compulsion. For instance we apparently require biologists to determine what a woman is, yet people are too terrified to provide a definition. 🤔

It might help your case even more if you would STOP using dinosaur art from the 70s and 80s. Sauropods did not drag their tails, for one thing. Please use better art from artists who know how to paint these creatures as the magnificent CREATIONS they were. That Stegosaurus was pitiful. And evolutionists don't think ALL dinosaurs are the ancestors of birds. Are rhinoceros the ancestors of rhodesian ridgebacks? Evolution is said to work like a TREE. This talk is based on a Christian world view. If you don’t share that perspective. What you need to do first, is define what truth is based on your own world view. If you don’t have an objective standard (like Christian’s do), you cannot make any truth claims to begin with. Bias at that point doesn’t matter. In fact bias makes no sense considering “your truth is your truth, and Christian truth is equally truth”. Facts don’t care about your feelings. Everyone believes in God and his authority, though though some deny Him.

If an event is attested by many people in different locations police etc say it probably occurred. Using this theory, it is easy to see that since virtually every culture on earth has a flood story it means that the flood occurred.

Here's a counter argument. Why is there not any mention of what is clearly a dinosaur in any ancient text that we have discovered? If dinosaurs were brought on the arc, then surely we'd have descriptions from various cultures in their ancient text about them.

There is no reason that God didn't save some 'dinosaurs' on the ark which survived long after. Im a christian And i believe In evolution. The thing is that the bible (especially the old testament) contains a lot of metaphores. And it was written In this metaphores so that the ancient people could understand it at least a Bit. Imagine explaining to the people of that time that the universe is more than 13 billion years old. In that time they didnt even know such numbers yet their aritmethics was good. Thats Why we cant take absolutely everything from the bible literally (im not saying Its not true, im just saying that these are the metaphores used by the holy spirit who guided the writers of the bible, to describe And “explain” facts to the ancient people who werent as smart as we are now and who wouldnt understand it if it was told to them In the straight way).

Science is by definition secular because it deals with observable reality. Religion deals with faith and belief in that which is not observable. So the question of when dinosaurs lived cannot be answered through faith but through observation of the scientific facts and using the scientific method correctly. Obvious point is that most scientists in the field of palaeontology have been religious but do not bring their religious beliefs into their understanding of scientific questions. If a scientific question can only be answered by referring to your specific religion as an explanation something is wrong.

For example the Hindu religion has existed for 4000 years - thats an observable fact. Hindus believe in reincarnation - thats a matter of faith not observable fact. So the old testament was probably written 600 BC or so. That's a fact. When its states the world was created in 7 days that becomes a matter of faith as it does not match the observable evidence. Of course many today interpret this as allegory and not literal truth.

Plus he said scientists use the rocks to tell how old a fossil is and uses the fossils to determine the age of the rock which is false, scientist uses radiometric dating. Radiometric dating uses carbon 14 to determine the age of an animal remain and even artifacts. This type of dating can determine age up to 50,000 years. This does not prove anything about how old are the dinosaurs but it proves really well that there is already life way before 6,000 years or what he said as the creation.

The rock layers do indeed date the fossils. Dinosaur fossils have been discovered in the last 20-30 years that still contain hemoglobin, blood vessels, carbon-14 (in large quantities), DNA (which should be completely gone in ~ 1 million years), etc etc. Secular scientists adhere to "uniformitarianism", where they believe that sediment is gradually deposited on the earth at clockwork intervals throughout time. Where does this sediment come from? They have a sediment deposit rate, and depending on how deep the fossil is they calculate backwards how long it would take to bury X feet/meters of sediment on top of it. This is how they incorrectly date human remains to be millions of years old (a few debunked missing link cases) because they assumed these things. There has never been a case of proven enhancement through new DNA information in an organism. Random mutations never create new information in DNA necessary to construct or maintain a feature. There has never been a proven case of phyletic evolution, if either of these things ever occurred it would be world wide news instantly and nobel prizes handed out. Mutations destroy information, sometimes destroyed information leads to a "perceived gain" or "perceived benefit". In reality it is some gene that is shut off which allows characteristics of another gene to become more represented. DNA fights pretty hard 24 hours a day to check that the copying mechanism through RNA transcription has no mistakes, this is done through special enzymes that proof read the process. You would have to ask yourself, how did a proof reading mechanism self evolve in the first place when the DNA has to be present in the first place to even have something to check?

I believe in the Bible and dinosaurs. It really comes down to how you interpret the Bible. Also what does a “biblical view “ mean? How did you get your biblical view-Tradition- your world view determines it. No matter what -the mind of man influences your biblical view. Even as God inspired the writers of the Bible, the writers were interpreting what they heard through their own world views. It’s like a babe in the womb- how would you reveal yourself to the baby, who has never experienced life outside the womb? Our salvation depends on believing in Jesus Christ- the Word . This guy is right about one thing...the Bible is not a science book. The Bible is not the source of all knowledge. It contains that with which we need to become wise unto salvation. Period. If someone believes that Jesus is their Lord and Savior, and also believes the world is 4 billion years old, there is no problem. Why? Because how old the earth is or isn't is totally inconsequential to whether or not Jesus is your Lord and Savior. The seven days of Creation is from God's perspective, not ours. He creates in a planned, systematic way. He is the Creator of time. He can do what He wants when He wants and however long He wants. When you die, presumably you're not simply sitting in the waiting room for the day of judgement, but rather you may be brought directly to it. In that sense, the coming of heaven is soon for everyone regardless of their actual proximity to the event in the scale of time because time is relative. A label we applied to a perception of travel. Though in Revelations the saints stir and god tells them to rest for the time is not yet here. So I imagine it would be something like sleep.

If you read the scripture about the brute strength of a unicorn, a rhinoceros makes a lot more sense than a horse. Unicorn did not mean I horned horse until after 1828 dictionary was written. And just because the animals in heaven doesn’t mean that it’s here as well. If there were unicorns on this planet then somebody would’ve found a fossil of one or traces of one somewhere. The difficulties between reconciling the evolution of animals and/or humans stems from religions, Christian sects that insist on a literalist interpretation of Scripture. This is not the case for the unquestionably largest Christian denomination, Roman Catholicism. Catholics read the Bible not as a historical document, but as a guide to living a better life, serving the Lord and being one with the Holy Spirit. This more allegorical interpretation of the Bible allows for the dovetailing of science with a belief in the Almighty. This controversy is likely to continue, but I will place my faith in the doctors of the church, like Augustine, Loyola and others rather than preachers of fly by night faiths that seem to appear like mushrooms overnight.

When Adam was made he was made into an adult, he wasn’t made a baby first, so that means God can create with age. God is not bound by time, he can create anything with age, force time through an object he creates in an instant that gives the object the appearance of age. Imagine you build a program with certain rules that define it. To anything inside the program, it would be unthinkable for something to exist outside the rules that define it's existence. God defined the laws that order creation, he himself is not bound to them. God did not require efficient cause or finite regression, as our universe does. God does not require a creator as our universe does.
Attempting to apply our (very limited and flawed) understanding of the universe on god is like a toddler pondering the mind and capabilities of a full grown man.
I agree in part but it's a no-go for the statement as a whole for me. I believe in the bible stories but I believe there's a larger more practical aspect to it all that isn't captured. I believed that is purposeful. You have to consider how real Adam is when his birth and the begining of written literature are likely separated by thousands if not millions of years ago. That's not too say there isn't underlying truth which can be found through science and psychology, even evolution. God is powerful indeed but history is much more linear than not. Surely many stories are true and proven with applicable research however the stories themselves are not all coherent because of how it's written leaving the reader in a position of deciphering the higher meaning. I doubt 1090000009000% that Adam started as a man.

The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are all titles not names. So yes, Jesus is God but he can portray different aspects of his personality. Just like we are able to be a father to our kids, a son to our parents and also be our own person.
I remember the story about a security guard at a museum and he was asked how old a t rex skeleton was. He responded 65 million and 30 years. He was asked how he could be so specific. He responded he was told 30 years ago when he started working at the museum that the skeleton was 65 million years old and since that was 30 years ago it was now 65 million and 30 years old.

I have been a Christian since 1970. The major problem I have seen over the years in understanding and growing in the faith, is folks are lazy, nonchalant..an easy come easy go attitude towards their Christianity. and don`t read the bible from cover to cover in their free time. People rob themselves of God`s truth and are tossed around by secular doctrines, false teachers and drown in constant arguments when scripture is able to make us wise in every area of our lives.

I was privileged and honored to be selected to illustrate a number of Noah's Ark and dinosaur/dragon related books for New Leaf Press (featured in this video). I just received my first "fan letter" from a youngster this week, who wanted to tell me of his love for the study of dinosaurs and also his appreciation of my work... he even decorated the letter with his own array of wonderful dinosaur illustrations. This thrilled my heart to know that the Christian/Biblical perspective is gaining traction among the children (and even us older children) out there, who have been mislead for so many years by "scientists" who assume their theories are fact without applying deeper logic. This was a wonderful lecture by Bodie, and I know its effects will spread as his audiences relay and repeat his arguments and talking points to others. Keep up the good work!

So there you have it kids! The Land Before Time is an evil movie series. Even as a kid, I was self aware that their opening sequence was in direct violation of the creation story.
I believe in the big bang theory in that GOD spoke and bang there it was.
The thing is the big bang is not a proven scentific fact. Its proposed theory on how the earth came into existence (via the death of a first/random star without any creative hand) is also not consistent with the Genesis account God revealed to prophet Moses for us.
So.. it fits under the category of personal faith (/worldview lens) since nobody was there at the time.. the beginning of all that was created for His pleasure and for this earth where God placed the human race.
Those who wish to ignore God or deny His hand at creation are left struggling to come up with something/anything to explain the mystery or dismiss that mystery of creation and sustanence altogether, but the neverending questions remain. Who/What created the first star then? With no creator, something cannot come from nothing. It's worse now they have turned to looking for answers in a recreated "light" of their own making (rather than take awe at God's handiwork and crediting Him whilst exploring the science behind it just for fun ). Or worse some sound like they are now seeking a dimensional portal where some alien friend/creature gods may come out from inside their 'dark energy' 'dark matter' or 'black hole' finds/experiments.
So I'd rather start on the right understanding, than travel with them and skew off-path.

We can only fathom what pre-fall animals were like; I think some of the protective features of animals are just for general protection (in case you're thrown at a truck like a frisbee), but it's important to understand that God is artful, so some colorings or design features could be simply to make them aesthetic and enjoyable, and partly for them to attract a mate. Anybody wanting to use the "dangerous teeth" argument regarding meat-eating should check out the Asian 🦌sabre-tooth deer🦌, they are pretty wild looking.
As snakes were strictly mentioned for post-fall going on their belly; such a mention poses understanding they didn't travel that way beforetime, which leads me to consider they may have had short limbs akin to what you'd see on an Eastern dragon.

Behemoth is described as eating grass like an ox and having a navel.

Leviathan is described as having plates of tightly packed armor, something no semiaquatic carnivorous dinosaur had.
Instead, it is a clear reference to the rows of osteoderm scutes seen on modern crocodiles.

I have wondered what labor in childbirth would be if Eve hadn’t messed it up for all of us. Because as hard as it can be, it is so worth it when you get your baby. I wonder if we would appreciate the process and treasure it if it were different. I also wonder if maybe fear of labor may help slightly with “population control”!!! Guess we’ll never have those answers but I think it’s a good example of how God turns our screwups into a good thing for His glory!
The natural order of things is that the best things in life don't come easy. If they did we wouldn't respect them. If you suffer and labor for something you respect it because you earned it. Pain is the reminder of an event and is the determining factor when deciding to do the same thing again knowing the consequences. Some women do it 10-15 times and continue to say it's the worst pain in the world. I disagree. Ask any man on earth whether he wants to pass a kidney stone 9 months after passing one.
God isn't a religion. Period. Religion is man made. And everything is relative to God. What His day was is not necessarily ours. And lastly ALL things are possible with God. I don't like preachers who preach about things God has NOT revealed to us. And then to apply one aspect to everything that just isn't right. I imagine u believe the earth is flat as well. I'm a Christian and years of loving science actually brought me here today. Weird how people try to keep science and God apart. They are very clearly connected. But I do have questions and I found that, so far, they always have a reasonable answer. So, when I heard the question, "Can God lie?" I felt a bit stupid. No, He can't, but God can do anything. So, He COULD if He wanted to, right?? He's perfect and Holy and good, so is it possible for God to lie? He can do anything, but lie? I know God has reasons for everything, and I am fine knowing that my little human brain isn't quite capable of understanding everything God does. But lying...He can't or He won't? Re being hit by turtle, some carrion birds carry tortoise and turtle up high and drop them it's the only way they can get through the shell, it's quite frequent happening hence being shelled!! I have no idea if that's where the phrase originates but it sounds good though.. poor turtle
I vaugly remember a story about one of the ancient Greek philosophers, I can't remember his name but he was as famous as Plato when they were both alive. Anyways the story states a eagle flying above was carrying a turtle and mistook the philosopher bald head has a rock, he was killed by the impact when the eagle dropped the turtle on his head.

This is very good I always believed we were created growing up in a biblical backed home yet was forced to listen to teachers teach the revolutionary teachings I was challenged by my teachers when I challenged them with biblical creation yet I did not have the answers. Thank You for giving me the answers I will share them and spread the word ! I have been to both the creation and ark Museums and found them to be vary informative opening my eyes to the truth! I challenge anyone to go to both the Ark and the Creation Museums and if you go to one you should go to the other they are very close! God bless you and His word!
I hope you have given the same amount of attention to evolution as creation, I didn't for way too long. I was a creationist for over 35 years and it just doesn't pan out. Evolution, when studied without the bias, explains our current world more accurately. It is not about something coming from nothing, because that is not evolution. Evolution properly explains the diversity of life on this planet.

Why would God use OUR idea of a day (one earth rotation) when He spoke the universe into existence? His day is not our day. His time is not our time. Also, this type of teaching is confusing. He is not a God of confusion. When the map differs from the terrain, always go with the terrain.

Dinosaurs are literally half way between bird and reptile. They walk on two legs like birds.
Correct birds do have their own class. But that class evolved from the class that contained dinosaurs. On class evolves from another, otherwise everything would still be bacteria.
I don’t know if you’re aware of this, but many dinosaurs had feathers. Birds evolved from dinosaurs. Humans and apes evolved from a common ancestor.

Have you heard of the crisis in replication? 50% of studies cannot be successfully replicated and this would be those that ARE replicated. There is little to no funding or prestige in attempting to replicate studies someone else has already done.
And that's in the purely academic fields. Look at "The Science" where it relates to anything political, corporate or social and you'll see that scientists are human, not saints. Just as incompetent, prone to greed, cliques and compulsion.

This talk is based on a Christian world view. If you don’t share that perspective. What you need to do first, is define what truth is based on your own world view. If you don’t have an objective standard (like Christian’s do), you cannot make any truth claims to begin with. Bias at that point doesn’t matter. In fact bias makes no sense considering “your truth is your truth, and Christian truth is equally truth”. Facts don’t care about your feelings. Everyone believes in God and his authority, though though some deny Him.

If an event is attested by many people in different locations police etc say it probably occurred. Using this theory, it is easy to see that since virtually every culture on earth has a flood story it means that the flood occurred.

Here's a counter argument. Why is there not any mention of what is clearly a dinosaur in any ancient text that we have discovered? If dinosaurs were brought on the arc, then surely we'd have descriptions from various cultures in their ancient text about them.

Im a christian And i believe In evolution. The thing is that the bible (especially the old testament) contains a lot of metaphores. And it was written In this metaphores so that the ancient people could understand it at least a Bit. Imagine explaining to the people of that time that the universe is more than 13 billion years old. In that time they didnt even know such numbers yet their aritmethics was good. Science is by definition secular because it deals with observable reality. Religion deals with faith and belief in that which is not observable. So the question of when dinosaurs lived cannot be answered through faith but through observation of the scientific facts and using the scientific method correctly. Obvious point is that most scientists in the field of palaeontology have been religious but do not bring their religious beliefs into their understanding of scientific questions. If a scientific question can only be answered by referring to your specific religion as an explanation something is wrong.

For example the Hindu religion has existed for 4000 years - thats an observable fact. Hindus believe in reincarnation - thats a matter of faith not observable fact. So the old testament was probably written 600 BC or so. That's a fact. When its states the world was created in 7 days that becomes a matter of faith as it does not match the observable evidence. Of course many today interpret this as allegory and not literal truth.

Plus he said scientists use the rocks to tell how old a fossil is and uses the fossils to determine the age of the rock which is false, scientist uses radiometric dating. Radiometric dating uses carbon 14 to determine the age of an animal remain and even artifacts. This type of dating can determine age up to 50,000 years. This does not prove anything about how old are the dinosaurs but it proves really well that there is already life way before 6,000 years or what he said as the creation.

The rock layers do indeed date the fossils. Dinosaur fossils have been discovered in the last 20-30 years that still contain hemoglobin, blood vessels, carbon-14 (in large quantities), DNA (which should be completely gone in ~ 1 million years), etc etc.
Secular scientists adhere to "uniformitarianism", where they believe that sediment is gradually deposited on the earth at clockwork intervals throughout time. Where does this sediment come from? They have a sediment deposit rate, and depending on how deep the fossil is they calculate backwards how long it would take to bury X feet/meters of sediment on top of it. This is how they incorrectly date human remains to be millions of years old (a few debunked missing link cases) because they assumed these things.

I don't remember this part of the video, however this would be false. There has never been a case of proven enhancement through new DNA information in an organism. Random mutations never create new information in DNA necessary to construct or maintain a feature. There has never been a proven case of phyletic evolution, if either of these things ever occurred it would be world wide news instantly and nobel prizes handed out.
Mutations destroy information, sometimes destroyed information leads to a "perceived gain" or "perceived benefit". In reality it is some gene that is shut off which allows characteristics of another gene to become more represented. DNA fights pretty hard 24 hours a day to check that the copying mechanism through RNA transcription has no mistakes, this is done through special enzymes that proof read the process. You would have to ask yourself, how did a proof reading mechanism self evolve in the first place when the DNA has to be present in the first place to even have something to check?

I believe in the Bible and dinosaurs. It really comes down to how you interpret the Bible. Also what does a “biblical view “ mean? How did you get your biblical view-Tradition- your world view determines it. No matter what -the mind of man influences your biblical view. Even as God inspired the writers of the Bible, the writers were interpreting what they heard through their own world views. It’s like a babe in the womb- how would you reveal yourself to the baby, who has never experienced life outside the womb? Our salvation depends on believing in Jesus Christ- the Word . It does not depend on having the “correct” biblical view interpretation- words.
I interpret it to be a set of old stories that hold little to no truth. Pointless and a waste of your time.
While it may not be necessary for salvation, having wisdom and a solid foundation of truth is good and highly praised in the Bible as something to seek out. We were created to use our minds and God wants us to be rooted in truth.(whatever culture that ‘truth’ may come from)

This guy is right about one thing...the Bible is not a science book. The Bible is not the source of all knowledge. It contains that with which we need to become wise unto salvation. Period. If someone believes that Jesus is their Lord and Savior, and also believes the world is 4 billion years old, there is no problem. Why? Because how old the earth is or isn't is totally inconsequential to whether or not Jesus is your Lord and Savior. The seven days of Creation is from God's perspective, not ours. He creates in a planned, systematic way. He is the Creator of time. He can do what He wants when He wants and however long He wants. Consider that our lives are, in the scale of the world and generations, extremely short. The older you get, the shorter it seems as the days fly by.
When you die, presumably you're not simply sitting in the waiting room for the day of judgement, but rather you may be brought directly to it. In that sense, the coming of heaven is soon for everyone regardless of their actual proximity to the event in the scale of time because time is relative. A label we applied to a perception of travel.
Though in Revelations the saints stir and god tells them to rest for the time is not yet here. So I imagine it would be something like sleep.

If you read the scripture about the brute strength of a unicorn, a rhinoceros makes a lot more sense than a horse. Unicorn did not mean I horned horse until after 1828 dictionary was written.
And just because the animals in heaven doesn’t mean that it’s here as well. If there were unicorns on this planet then somebody would’ve found a fossil of one or traces of one somewhere. Nevertheless, my comment still stands.
