Thank you Travis. There is a benefit to learning exactly. There is also joy and creativity from finding your own solo. I think one leads to the other.

Travis, thanks for doing this and “setting us straight”... on the Milo way of playing this... Nuance has ALWAYS been something I rarely pick up on... I appreciate you taking the time to show us this.

We are going to be doing this song in our show this year. I have been watching your video and it really helped me to be able to learn this ride. Thank you for making this video. Oh yeah. Tell Jo Don if he's not busy come see us. We are at the Hoe Down in Eureka Springs. He's knows right where I am. I wish you guys all the best.

Playing this at any club in the U.S. not a single person would notice or care how u played it or phrased it identical to the original. I have learned leads to the note and not one person would have notice or cared unless it was a bar for steelplayers only

amchav 71 I don’t argue with that at all. I would very likely play a different solo if I was playing it live. The point of the video is to teach the original version for those who are interested in learning it correctly. I’m not insisting that you play it that way, or that it needs to be played that way.

Travis was clearing up a debate on how it was played. There was a post about it a while back there were 15 people saying "this is how it's played" lol.

For me it has nothing to do with someone else being aware that I played a lick like the recorded version. It has to do with me being satisfied with my performance and the fact that I was able to figure it out and perform it under pressure put on myself to do it. Travis has provided a great example of doing and presenting it correctly.
