I recently received my new MSA 10-6 Tour Pro. My previous guitars were a Kline D10 and an Emmons Push-pull, both were great guitars. The Tour Pro is my personal favorite because it has a very realistic sounding Dobro neck that is very useful. The E9 feels and sounds great. I like the swapable pickups. The ability to illuminate the fretboards came in super handy at a gig this week when the sun went down and there were no stage lights. I miss being able to play c6th but was mostly playing E9 anyway then grabbing my dobro. Now I only have to bring one instrument

Cool and congratulations on the new ax. Yes the C6 is cool but when I played out I never really got to use it. So I play the C stuff for my own grins and enjoyment at the house. If you can email me a pic of your new guitar would love to see it. steelpicking@gmail.com Keep picking!

Aaron I have beat my head against the wall trying to remember you because I recognized your voice then a light bulb went off when I seen you comment on Johnie Kings post on the forum. I bought your Deckley from you when I lived in Vidor. Marvin Rich brought me to your house. I still have that guitar to this day. If you have trouble remembering brother I was known as Festus when I lived down there

Aaron, I totally understand your desire to own an MSA. I own an MSA S10 Classic which I love. They are fine guitars. I also once owned a Mullen and traded it at the time for a Derby which I still have. My main guitar today is a GFI Ultra.
Congratulations on your new guitar and I look forward to your fine playing and wonderful videos.

Thank you for the kind words, Frank! Good to hear from you!
I got to play a Derby recently at Johnie King's place. They are really nice guitars, and one of my students has a GFI. Also, a well-built, good sounding guitar.
      Keep picking!

Super cool guitar! I am still a learning steel guitarist, but I love my MSA Sidekick. Built in the 1970's, it's super simple set-up and it's great for gigging. Clean tone, smooth action, and I can't complain.

Aaron, lovely guitar. I think the new Legend is a phenomenal guitar. I would love to try one. I already have too many and not sure what I would trade. I have a MSA Classic D10 8x2 I bought used but it's like new. It's a fine guitar but no match for my PRP Mullen D10 8x4 I bought new in 94. Have you tried the new Emmons Resound? I have yet to see or play it. Tempted but not motivated go that deep in debt. Enjoy your new guitar.

Thank you! Sounds like you have some fine guitars! Looking forward to spending more time with mine! I have been seeing RUclips videos on those Emmons guitars. They definitely have the classic sound. I guess if you want a Rolls-Royce, you have to pay Rolls-Royce prices, ha ha! Hopefully I can try one someday. Maybe they will have one at the Dallas show.
