Hi all, I'm wanting to get back into sports card collecting (mainly hockey, basketball and football) and I would like to know what were y'alls recommendations as to what packs to open and cards to collect. Company/ what product from said company should I be looking for. I will do my own research to find card types that I personnally like, but I'd like some help from you more veteran collectors as to what the best is (considering different budgets). I know openning isn't usually worth it, but its part of the fun! Not necessarily looking for the most expensive pulls possible because I'm not really looking for profit or to sell (at least not right now), I just want nice cards and I'm a sucker for autographs. My budget is limited because I am still a student, but still want to start collecting right now! Y'all are welcommed to recommend expensive products (I will keep in mind for the future or for a special occasion 😂) but if possible I would like to know some affordable options to start my collection! Last time I collected was with my dad when I was like 10-11, I'm 25 now so kinda out of touch with all the products available even after watching break channels for a couple years 😅
Crazy to me...Wemby was/is maybe the most hyped up player ever. He will never live up to thise expectations, its impossible. He has nowhere to go but down from here as far as value i would sell ASAP.
Personally, I love the instant cards. As someone in the hobby for fun over investment, I love having cards that mark some of my favorite sports moments of the week. Especially because not all players/teams are represented as well in regular hobby sets. They’re even more special when it’s tied to a memory of watching the game or even being at the game. Also, some of the cards are really low numbered and will be the lowest numbered card of certain players I can afford. My Curry ‘scoring champ’ to 5 is the lowest numbered card of Curry I’ll probably ever get 😂
could be wrong but dont think there is a ton of up side and alot of down side on that wemby card but its your personal collection and money and everyone is free to buy and collect what they want :)
