Glad that you got to take a look at Port-aux-Basques before hurricane Fiona hit. The town hasn’t been the same ever since. I heard that they’re still trying to rebuild the town or move it further inland away from the ocean.

Thank you. Yes, you would need to book your spots for the vehicle and your party on the ferry in advance. I think the ferry website is called marineatlantic.ca and it was pretty easy to reserve a spot.
Newfoundland is very beautiful, the ferry ride is fun for a while but I was almost bored by the end of the 7 hour crossing. Definitely would do it again tho.
Did this same ride in 2018 and stayed in Hotel Port Aux Basques too. Thanks for the memories!
