Great decision to getting your own space! When I moved cities to be where my long distance boyfriend was, I had my own apartment too. It just makes so much sense to have your own space and figure out your rhythm in a new space and having a regular relationship instead of a long distance one.

Hi Rachel,
I’m a travel agent- i would be inclined to hold off on booking until you know.
To make a change you generally have to pay the change fee plus and fare difference so if changing you could end up paying the premium last minute fare plus the change fee.
When you go to change you then have to use your credit with the same airline which at the time of changing may no longer be the cheapest.
I hope this makes sense, reach out if you need any clarification.

The best box for the canvases, long/thin items is an underbed storage box. Easy to buy but more protective than a cardboard box. Cannot wait to see this new journey for you

Well, you know what they say about Melbourne - 5 seasons in one day. Summer, Winter, Autumn, spring and HAYFEVER. The plane trees drop that yellow gunk everywhere at this time of year and it’s killer for allergies. If you are a soft summer, brunette would look amazing in you. Muted summers are supposed to avoid red, black and blonde, but opt for a cool/neutral medium brown

I would love to watch a video/vlog where you show your storage locker and how you process what to keep, donate, etc. I have storage and I work on it when I have spare time. I am glad that you're back, I mussed your videos and inspirations, but I also I know that you need time to get yourself situated and settled. I wish you the best and safe travels for when you are ready to head out! Also, any time for first-time filmmakers and editors. I am learning how to film, edit, and make reels for my online business, and I am not comfortable in front of the camera. But you inspire me, get it out of my comfort zone. As far as video goes, maybe a home refresh and organization vlog. A setting in a vlog could be nice. For towns to visit: if you are ever in Florida, a must is my hometown of West Palm Beach as well as Longboat key, Florida would be a nice getaway for the both of you.

I’d book your flight after you get your passport back. I followed along with Morgan Moroney’s Australia to US visa experience and it wasn’t the smoothest experience to say the least.

I'm a kitty foster mom for our local Humane Society in Arizona. I like fostering because I don't want to get a cat full time right now because I just retired and want to travel a lot. But fostering is also a good way to see if you're compatible with the kitty if you decide to adopt it.

For the flight question, you can check right now how much the last-minute deal is (e.g. how much is the ticket for 2-3 days from now) and how much is the ticket booked in advance + exchange fee.
It's not always gonna work the same because of the high season, public holidays etc, but at least you'll get an idea.
If it's a question of several dollars, then no need to worry at all :)
Or just book a ticket for interview + 10 days to be on the safe side, which will give you some extra time to pack and run last errands, just in case.

I would personally not put your boyfriend in too much at this point at least til you live together and know 100% that this will work out which you will know for sure with this move. I am provincial too but not French provincial if you want to check out any of my social media. I loved your old apartment. Can’t wait to see what you do with the new one
If you don’t have that much I would recommend rent a car or minivan. I am not sure if you can do a one way from Canada to Dc but if you don’t have that much stuff it would be cheap gas wise.
When looking to move across county I found it was close to $3000 for a small U-Haul! Or if you can ship freight even better! Good luck on your journey and can’t wait to see the new place come together!

11:00 i've been to Vegas in Feb and had to change my return flights due to sickness to later in march, and going again on 30th of april to get married.
Unless you buy a 'very special sale' per se ticket :D usually it says 'change of flight' for a fee you can delay it. not sure about complete cancellations. a changeable flight will cost you 4-5k as opposed to a 1.5-2kish flight that has a 250$ flat fee to change your flight + any price difference. also, the further in advance you buy the better. are you in a huge rush to move end of april or can you wait until early-mid-late may? also use google flights to find the company you wanna go with and go to link it suggests to purchase - at the very very start before you even pick your seats or whatever, even before you put in your personal info you'll be able to see what cancellable/refundable/rescheudlable options are available. its not very hard or hidden at all :)
Maybe not in the summer, but New Orleans, Louisiana is a fun time!

I would think twice about gettinf a cat if you dont want your furniture to be shredded to pieces. Also, they are expensive. You have to buy litter and food almost every week. You need a baby sitter if ever you want to go away. They are like having children. They want to play alllll the time. So many things to consider. I have a cat and if i could go back prior to having her i would not vad taken her. I love my cat and she will be with me forever but its been expensive and time consuming. They get upset if you dont spend time with them

Dear Rachel, that blue is a warm blue and brings out more redness in your skin. If you go with cold blue - it will be much better and will brigthen your complexion. Save travels!

As someone who moved from Canada to US before uhaul will be the most cost effective way to go! Freight movers quoted me 7k minimum
Do hire movers to load and unload your uhaul tho that’s 💯 worth it
I politely disagree. Take a car full of stuff, nothing more. The cost of moving isn't worth it anymore, and the quality of what's made these days is terrible.

DC is so unsafe! hopefully no issues. The way you talk about filming & keeping things secret...It's like you don't trust your viewers at all. You just have to go with it :) and allow yourself to film and express yourself without feeling that. One day you will have to film your bf etc. because he will be in your house.
I think it’s smart not to trust viewers. She doesn’t know them! Influencers have terrible trouble with stalkers. CC Suarez had someone rock up at her house at midnight just last week. Nobody is obligated to share anything or trust strangers who haven’t done anything to earn that trust…
