So lovely, a sprite in the tree at bramble cottage to a sprite in love and travels. Wonderful story, again. Thank you so much for the joy you give. WCL
Well done! As an artist myself, I thought this story was brilliant, and your narrator, Marian Hussey, brings it alive with the richness and nuances of her voice. I have no idea how she does it! I listen half to the story and half to her skill, the interplay of characters and emotions. I don’t like the fact that the story was written in a dark period for you, but THANK YOU for your resolve to see it finished! In my opinion, it is a triumph of perseverance! I think you had to have grown through it. ❤️ Congratulations.
I drive over the road. I've really enjoyed these stories during my long drive. But this last one had me in tears. Neil might have started off as a scoundrel but the way he embraced the role of father to Caroline has turned him into a saint in my eyes. Thank you for making this truck drivers run so much brighter. I can't wait to hear more🤗
Knowing that my stories have been a companion on your long drives truly warms my heart. It's especially moving to hear how Neil's transformation and his journey with Caroline touched you. Characters who grow and evolve in unexpected ways are some of the most rewarding to write about. Thank you for your kind message, and I'm delighted to have made your runs brighter. More stories await, and I hope they continue to be a joyful part of your travels. Safe driving and happy listening! 🚚📚🤗
I just finished the whole inglewood series . I stumbled on this book and wanted to find out more about characters. I loved the every book. Haw ever I would love the sequel of Hope and her story after marriage to Alejandro . Please!!!!!!! Thank you for hours and hours of pure emotion and contentment!
I can't even imagine anyone being down and out and writing the story. So lovely. So glad to hear you are doing better and that there are more books to share. I love listening to your lovely stories. Happy holidays!
Thank you so much! I am NOT comparing myself to the greatest of artists and authors out there, but it's somewhat encouraging to know that many of our favorites struggled with depression, anxiety, etc., and yet wrote some of the most enduring literature in history. I recently went to the immersive Van Gogh experience and fell even more in love with his work. His best paintings came between periods of self doubt, depression, and other tragedies. Yet he gave us such beauty. I think it is something the creative mind must feel very acutely. I'm grateful my family loves and supports me through it all.
I enjoyed this so much! I loved seeing a bit of Esther and Grace and their children. Loved the story and loved Edward and Caroline. Thank you Sally! I’m looking forward to the next one!
Very sweet story, beautifully developed characters, interesting twists and satisfying romance.... Great narration, insightful author's commentary.... Just delightful to listen to when one wants to escape reality for a little while. Thanks for sharing your stories and bringing joy and love to us. Very much appreciated. Somehow you make us feel being part or witness the life of his extended family and community. The characters reappearing make them feel more real, and like acquaintances who one gets curious about their life stories. One day we will see them all in a TV series, I am sure.
This is a wonderful story! Its authentic voice comes through brilliantly. It is gentle, humble, and real. I do love the recording artist you chose, also, and I truly enjoyed your author's notes. Your voice is lovely in its own right. I was blessed to hear your author's notes, your honesty and depth of truly researching your choice of unfamiliar circumstances, the world of art in a different era. Thanks for hours of listening pleasure, in a season of rain and monochromatic gloom. You indeed have brightened my life. I do believe that Heaven's moments will often be filled with people's stories, even on a higher, more spiritual note, directly glorifying God and His work in our lives, miraculous or at least providential answers to prayer and breathtaking rescues even before there is time to pray. Stories are the memorable stuff of our lives.
This is a delightful story on it's own, and a perfect bridge as you extend our journey through the lives of characters from Inglewood. It was fun to have glimpses into the lives of individuals from the first series. And as others have mentioned, I especially appreciated "Lord" Neil's appearances. I remember when his book came out I wasn't sure I even wanted to read his story. Lol, I'm so glad I did, as his personal growth was perhaps the greatest of the other area residents. He became a lovely, mature man, and is now a wise, concerned and caring father. Beautiful. Thank you for not using Claude as a means to bring tension or heartache to Edward and Caro's relationship! (I get so tired of that scenario.) Thank you instead for causing the two young people to exercise courage in communicating forthrightly with each other (eventually). A great way to reduce/eliminate heartache! Your author notes at the end of your stories are a real highlight for me, and I appreciate that you include them for those of us who like more insight into your endeavors.
I am delighted you enjoyed the story so much! And that you're a fan of Neil. He's a wonderful father, so much more loving and caring than what was ever modeled for him. As for Claude - I really like him, too. I wanted him to be somewhat of an echo of what Neil used to be. Someone misjudged. Someone with depth not even the heroes can see. Don't be surprised if he pops up in another story somewhere. And YES to good communication! If characters are going to be poor communicators, there needs to be a very good reason behind it. I prefer people who say what they're thinking. :-)
What a wonderful story! It was wonderful to return to Inglewood and all of the beloved characters from the first series. I love your work and always give a wonderful escape from your day. Thank you for another wonderful book.
Thank you so much for returning to Inglewood! Its like visiting family and dear friends. I would've never thought Lord Neil would be my favorite character, but he is for so many reasons. And thank you for showing the true character of Mr. Everleigh..it added depth and understanding. I also appreciate your audio notes at the end. Best wishes and looking forward with great anticipation for what is yet to come.
It's always a joy to hear from a reader who feels like they're returning home when they visit Inglewood. Lord Neil's journey has been a surprising delight for many, myself included, and I'm glad he's captured your heart as well. Bringing depth to characters like Mr. Everly is important to me, so your recognition of that effort is much appreciated. Thank you for your kind words about the audio notes-I love sharing those little behind-the-scenes tidbits. Your anticipation and support mean the world, and I can't wait to share more stories with you!
Oh excellent. Thanks Sally and Marion. I'd enjoyed the Inglewood series, and am going to enjoy this, especially as I touch base with my favorite characters now in mature family roles.
Thank you for bringing us home to Inglewood one more time. I really love all the characters and this was n lovely story. Really enjoyed this Narrators voice she has a talent few possess ❤ thank you for sharing this for free too books are my life but they are so expensive so this is a real treat so thank you Sally ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! And we WILL go back to Inglewood again soon. Just writing other things that are coming easier. Book 2 in Return to Inglewood is going to be a bit angsty. And it's hard to get in that mindset for me at the moment. I sobbed writing the first page.... Oops.
@@AuthorSallyBritton Good luck to you for all you are working on. May God give you the wisdom and peace to complete what you need to. I will wait with excitement for what ever you share next. Truly appreciate you sharing your talent that gives me so much joy.
What a wonderful tale! I've listened to all of your audio books and was thrilled to see former characters and how their lives have impacted the younger generation. Very well done! Thank you so much for sharing your talents. It is truly generous of you!
Lovely book, as always. Meaningful and enjoyable. And I loved your author's note at the end, especially the bit about changes in our thoughts. This hit home for me because of everything happening right now, especially in #gaza .
Never a disappointment! Wonderful and very enjoyable story. Great job to the author and narrator. Enjoyed the intertwining of the characters and stories. And love the author notes! ❤ Ps. Thank you for the Inglewood Series Family Tree
Ive been waiting for this one and happy to be reading it. Thank you for putting it on RUclips. I’m happy to be revisiting Caroline and Lord Neil. I became fond of that rascal 😊
Just finished this delightful listen. Will Claude have his own story revealed? I loved this story of a young woman in that time period being given a chance to have her dreams come true and break out of the norm for a regency woman. So much to to interest the reader in this book.
I agree, a great big thanks to all that lifted you up and support you! I am going through a period maybe similar in darkness? yet coming back into the light now. Thanks for being there with me to you, your team and family. I had tingles listening to your unedited author notes and personally love your voice. A great big thanks for this U Tube version. I couldn't have done these books any other way. So much appreciation for being the stories that took me through some of my art therapy course ( I hope I can help others one day ) but Mostly for getting me through very long nights. That came after the sudden death of a most beloved special Olympian winner, my wee sister. So much genuine gratitude to you all. If you ever wonder what your works do for the world, I must say....they have helped and healed me greatly. ❤
Your message is deeply touching. I'm truly honored to know that my stories and author notes have been a source of comfort and company during such a challenging time in your life. The strength and resilience you're showing as you find your way back to the light is inspiring. I'm glad our paths crossed in this way, and that the stories could be a part of your journey through art therapy and healing. The loss of your sister is a profound sorrow, and I extend my heartfelt condolences. Your intention to help others is a beautiful tribute to her spirit. Please know that your words have deeply affected me. I'm grateful my stories have played a role in your healing process, and I'm sending you all my best wishes for continued strength and peace. Thank you for your genuine gratitude and for sharing your story with me. ❤️
I really thought Maria’s secret love would have turned out to be Claude, especially since the younger Everly sisters mentioned how he played with their friends’ hearts. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to learning more this family❤
How sweet. I am so excited to be listening to this much anticipated audiobook. Thank you Sally & Marian😊 God Bless both of you & your beloved and all admirers of your audiobooks 😊💖😊
My first response to seeing this post was, "Oh boy!!" 😊 Just in time for the end of my re-listen to An Unsuitable Suitor. I'm excited for the return to our beloved characters' setting. I'm looking forward to this!
Imagine my joy upon learning that we would get to interact with one of my very favorite characters, Lord Neil. Due to this, I suppose, I especially loved chapters 1 and 21 where he had more of a role. This took away nothing from Edward, whom I loved. "I love you with everything I am or will ever be." What a wonderful line you gave him! I'm so glad to have Marian Hussey to reprise her talent to lend to our beloved characters. You mentioned your digital designer, Shayla Kay. I love the touch she added with the butterfly and bunny in this one. Did she do the design for "Unsuitable Suitor"? There was a tiny pigeon in that. It is like a game to find the tiny surprise details. 😊 I said that I was thrilled to find this new posting, but I am sad, too. I have listened to all the books currently uploaded. 😔I started with "The Captain and Miss Winter". I feel that I didn't get all the detail of it, so I am going back for a re-listen. ☺I very much look forward to your next books. You wondered if we enjoy hearing the author notes. I certainly do! I am so sad to hear of your dark place. I know that that is a terribly hard place to dig back out of, but the key is that you did it, and you can be proud of that achievement! I hope that those times get fewer and fewer and less deep as time goes. It CAN happen! I know. From one heart to another. 🥰
This is such a lovely, kind, thoughtful comment. Thank you. Thank you for enjoying all the stories and letting me know about them. Shaela designs my covers - I put together the videos. So the cute little animals are all my doing! I'm glad you enjoy them. I just put up a new book today - Mistletoe for Felicity - and there are two tiny animals in that one, too. Thank you again. I appreciate you taking the time to share your words.
Yes, I found the bunny and deer in that as soon as I opened the page! What fun. You do a great job on the photos. I sometimes just watch the butterflies, snowflakes, leaves, etc while I listen. They are mesmerizing. I watch the repeating pattern. (I'm easily amused. 😉) @@AuthorSallyBritton
Thank you for adding your voice at the end and for sharing not only historical information, but also your personal information. I'm glad you have loving support. May that continue throughout all your life. ☮️💞🙏🏼
I loved this story so much! I sound like a broken record, I say that about all of your books. Truthfully, since discovering your audio books here...which is my current favorite thing to do, listening to audio books while multitasking elsewhere on my computer, I have started buying more of your books to read. I'd read one or two and really enjoyed them, and purchased them when they sounded good and were on sale. But until I started listening to your audios I hadn't really discovered the families of stories and how they worked with and off of each other. There is so much to love about these people. They are so real, complicated, human, good and bad. Most of all, endearing. Thank you Sally Britton.
Your comments always make me happy. Authors need every bit of encouragement we can get! It's tough, sitting alone in front of a computer screen, trying to bring stories and characters to life, and wondering if anyone will love them the way you do as you create them. Thank you, always, for sharing your enjoyment. :-)
Sally, you bless our lives every day with the fruit of your labors. ☺ I just wanted to wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving and hope that you are abundantly blessed!🥰
Your words truly touch my heart. Knowing that my stories add a little something special to your days is the greatest blessing an author can ask for. Thank you for your kind Thanksgiving wishes! I, too, wish you and your loved ones a holiday filled with joy, warmth, and abundant blessings. 🍁🥰
Thank you so much!!! I loved everything about this sweet, wholesome and well written book!!Your writing style and apt words conjure beautiful images in my mind☺️I REALLY enjoyed the kind tenderness between Edward and Caroline the entire book instead of typical stories that are inclined to introduce love interests that strangely bloom out of irritation, contention or contemptuous first impressions…
We need lots of different romances since there are lots of different sorts of readers/listeners! I'm so glad you enjoyed this one, that their slowly blooming feelings that come from friendship spoke to you. Thank you so much for listening and sharing your thoughts. I truly appreciate it.
How exciting! I get to travel back to Inglewoods for a new adventure, and say hello to all the familiar characters along the way, that came to be so deer to me, that I keep rereading their stories over again from time to time 😊. Thank you Sally. Now excuse me while my imagination packs the bags and catches the first express coach to the beautiful Inglewoods seaside, while my hands are busy painting my custom annual Christmas greeting card ❤❤❤
Your message brings such a smile to my face! It's wonderful to know that Inglewood and its beloved characters have become a cherished part of your reading world. I'm thrilled that you're embarking on yet another adventure with them. The thought of you revisiting these stories while creating something beautiful like a custom Christmas card is truly heartwarming. May your journey back to Inglewood be as enchanting as ever, and your Christmas cards filled with as much joy and creativity as your words here. Happy travels and happy painting! ❤🎨📚
@@AuthorSallyBritton Than you so much! I enjoy them because each story is so unique and different yet it completes the others without compeeting with it. I love how you so inconspicuously introduce characters about whom the story will follow in the next book. It makes the entire Inglewood series trasition very seamlessly, like no time has past between the. The other picks up where the first one left off without being too obvious. I absolutely enjoy them.
I love listening to author notes at the end! I like hearing what inspired you and also historical influences. I listen to your stories while doing work in the kitchen but my favorite time is when I'm painting or drawing! My husband came in as I was working, he read the title of the book and I got a good teasing from that, because I'm an artist! Haaha
I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoy the author notes! Sharing the inspirations and historical influences behind my stories is something I always look forward to. It's wonderful to know that my stories accompany you during your creative endeavors in the kitchen and especially while you're painting and drawing. And what a fun coincidence with your husband and the book title! It sounds like a moment of serendipity and joy. Keep embracing your art, and thank you for letting my stories be a part of your creative space! 😊🎨📚
Thank you, thank you, thank you ! Your efforts are greatly appreciated. You give life to your characters and stories. The human experiences of daring to dream, opening to love, coming to grips and striking out are beautifully expressed in your stories. Your narrorator is wonderful. The author notes, for me, convey the feeling of being invited into your study for a chat and a cup of tea❤
Wow, thank you! And I'm so glad you enjoy the author notes. I often find myself torn about how much to actually share. I'm never certain how much people actually want to hear from me. :-)
Lord Neil's story was my favourite from the original set and I really enjoyed continuation of his story through Caroline's story. Edward seems to be the constant husband an artist wife needs. By the way, though we have discovered a lot about Claude but nearly not enough and he seems to be an interesting character, like lord Neil, who needs his own sperate book. Just a suggestion 🙏🙏
I'm thrilled to hear how much you've enjoyed Lord Neil's journey and its continuation through Caroline's story. Edward's role as a supportive partner is indeed crucial in their dynamic. Your suggestion about Claude is very timely and intriguing. While we've uncovered layers of his character, there's certainly more to his story waiting to be explored. Let's just say, the idea of giving him his own book is something that's been on my mind too. Stay tuned, and thank you for your insightful comments and enthusiasm for the characters! 🌟📚
An in-depth book of Claude? My thoughts too, @ the his reactions to Edw’s proposal…onto his Uncle’s study to observe Edw’s declarations, Finally, to his Pa! Why? His exposing the decisive ole Man to his “only son”. Declaring his dislike for all of the family & their false honor lead by his Uncle’s abusive behavior and hate for his brother & own Father…dishonorable actions toward his brother & redesigning his life @ sea…By the way Sally, you recaps are the “cherry on top” especially this particular best work! Introducing “The Mona Lisa”, brilliant! Got to see it after found & back in its home!❤
Thank you for your kind words and support. It's been a journey, and having a community like this makes all the difference. I'm glad you enjoyed the book, even with the unexpected turn regarding the father's character. Life, like fiction, often presents us with surprising twists. Your engagement and feedback are greatly appreciated! ❤️📖
Lovely story and narrator! It was so fun to return to the Inglewood series!!! I loved them all!! Enjoyed your notes at the end, too! Thank you sooo much for sharing!!!
P.S. I'm really sorry you went through such a difficult time, but grateful for this delightful read that came from it. And I love listening to your voice at the end and hearing all the extras about the story!
Hello energetic dog! 😊 I have truly enjoyed this and it makes me want to revisit the first set of the series. Also I do not remember the shunned artist, but I am sure I had all of your works... But now not so much.
So I haven't finished this one yet but I just had to comment on the "noisy child or a loose donkey" LOL!! That got me😆 I have listened to all the books in this series and I must say, it's been a roller coaster of emotions with Lord Neil! I went from disliking him to loving him! Thank you for sharing these wonderful stories!
Thanks for sharing your journey as well as your work. I loved Caroline's discovery of the Mona Lisa. The painting by Sir Thomas Lawrence was 'Satan summoning his legions' and evoked strong reactions when first displayed. It was apparently inspired from Milton's ‘Paradise Lost’, Book I, line 330, 'Awake, arise, or be for ever fallen'.
You are 100% correct on Sir Thomas's painting. It was quite divisive. But it shows such emotion! Can you imagine his disappointment when it was so poorly received?
Such a beautiful story I love it's from the heart. I'll been waiting for it, and it's didn't disappoint me me at all thank you so much for putting this one out ❤❤❤
Thank you for this story/novel. Even though it is a period piece it hit home in these modern times. Personal authenticity, parents trying to live their dreams/lives through their children, truth - would you want to know. Emotional bondage in the guise of familial love, 'honoring one's parents' can really staightjacket personal authenticity. Parenting is a difficult balance. Claude's revelation was a superb twist as well as how his father's commission was bought. 👏💝
It's deeply gratifying to know that the themes in my story resonated with you, bridging the gap between the Regency period and modern times. You've touched on some of the core issues that make these characters and their journeys so compelling-struggles with personal authenticity, familial expectations, and the quest for truth. Your insights into Claude's revelation and the complexities of his situation are spot on. These are the kind of thoughtful reflections that inspire me as a writer. Thank you for sharing your perspective and for your appreciation of the story's nuances. 🌟💖
Reading your message means so much to me. Knowing that my books have been a source of comfort during a difficult time is both humbling and heartening. Inglewood is a special place for many, myself included, and I'm glad it could offer you a sense of solace and familiarity. Thank you for your kind words, and I'm grateful to have been a part of your journey. Sending warm thoughts and much appreciation your way. ❤
A lovely story, greatly enjoyed! One thing though, I don't see the necessity of the Claude character. He seems superfluous. Thank you very much for putting this up for free!
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your thoughts! I'm delighted to hear you enjoyed the story. Regarding Claude, he's indeed a subtle yet pivotal character. His role is to challenge and provoke the hero, leading to significant moments of realization and growth. Sometimes, characters like Claude, who may initially seem superfluous, are essential catalysts in a narrative, sparking crucial developments. I appreciate your insight and am glad you could join us in this journey. Thank you for being part of our reading community!
This was lovely and all of the detail about art really made it come to life. Considering how unwell you were this long book is an extra treat. I love the scene where Edward ponders the statue of David and journals all of the emotions necessary, then immediately produces the expression needed. Thank you for this emotionally intelligent Neil as her Papa, giving sound advice and support. He really has come a very long way. It was wonderful to see him interact with his twin boys too. I was shocked about Mr Everly. I had hoped before the wedding day we would see him gift the couple with something. I still find myself wondering if Caroline sold some landscapes to help fund their trip. Shall we have Charity next? I could see her running an orphanage with her future husband. Or perhaps a rehabilitation story. Thank you for gifting us with the siblings and children of our favourite Inglewood characters Sally.
I am so glad you enjoyed the story! It was a delight to write. Mr. Everly is, unfortunately, very set in his ways. Even though he's been quite wrong. I don't always redeem my characters who behave poorly, because in real life people don't always mend their ways, either.
This was marvellous & so good too catch up with what now feel like old friends & to go forward into the future with the younger generation. I can’t wait for what comes next, many, many thanks for the hours of enjoyment I’ve received from you, Marian Hussey is a superb narrator & does your work the justice it deserves.xxxx
Sally Britton, i love your stories, have been systematically listening to them as i paint. However i eagerly await the end of each story to lusten to you talking about you're personal process. Your thoughts, your process, your depth of personal character. Your an absolutely fabulous and beautiful human being. Thank you. I look forward yo the children's stories. Love from an artist
I love novel series that are legacies. ❤. My greatest thanks and huge appreciation to you for sharing your talent with us.❤. Thank you most sincerely ❤❤
Thank you, Sally, for returning to Inglewood! God has truly gifted you and you are using your talent to encourage others. I especially appreciate that your novels are CLEAN! Others that state they are clean are still a bit too spicy for my taste, therefore you are my FAVORITE! Your narrators have great talent at interpretation of your work, not to mention very pleasant voices! I listen when I'm awake and also fall asleep listening so I have to "rewind" several times. Did I miss the REAL reason Claude appeared? I did hear where Mr Everleigh had invited Claude. Was it simply to goad Edward to marry and produce an heir? Also, I love how you redeemed Neil, former "scoundrel" yet further. I look forward to hearing your future book about Claude. I'm thankful you were able to come out of burnout through this novel.🙏🙏🙏 Sincerely, A Fan PS: I saw another listener had mentioned re-listening to "An Unsuitable Suitor" and found "Romancing The Artist". The same happened with me. I was delighted to see this new work and puzzled why it took 11 months for me to see it. Again, thank you!
Sally, your novels, your worlds, are so sweet and inspiring. I'm currently working on my own writing projects, and your writings are such an inspiration and motivation to keep writing. Thank you, thank you, you 😊
I'm deeply touched to know that my novels have been a source of inspiration for your own writing journey. Crafting these worlds is a labor of love, and it's incredibly rewarding to hear they're motivating others in their creative pursuits. Keep embracing your writing-it's a beautiful and fulfilling path. Thank you for your kind words, and I'm cheering you on every step of the way in your writing projects! 😊📚
This was another lovely story, thank you for uploading. As an artist, I appreciated Caroline's search for that something *more* in a painting. Very sorry to hear you have been in such a dark place while writing the book. It didn't seep into the story (at least not in a negative way).
Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm glad Caroline's artistic journey resonated with you as an artist. It's always a unique challenge to balance personal experiences with the tone of a story, and I'm relieved to hear the book remained a positive experience for you. Your support and understanding mean a lot. 🌟📚
Very excited to discover this new upload and to be currently catching up on the past years of Lord Neil. May I ask if there will be a family tree we could view somewhere as the series continues? I like to have a visual of all the connections!
I have a tree!!! I've shared it in other places, but you made me realize I don't have a permanent link to it. So I created a quick post on my website that has the image! Here it is: authorsallybritton.store/blogs/news/family-tree-for-inglewood
The sound is working for me - maybe try again. Double-check your device settings. Sometimes, RUclips makes a video "viewable" before everything has processed. It's possible you hit play before the sound was fully loaded.
So lovely, a sprite in the tree at bramble cottage to a sprite in love and travels. Wonderful story, again. Thank you so much for the joy you give. WCL
You are so welcome! I'm glad so many have enjoyed coming to know adult Caroline after meeting her as a little girl. :-)
Well done! As an artist myself, I thought this story was brilliant, and your narrator, Marian Hussey, brings it alive with the richness and nuances of her voice. I have no idea how she does it! I listen half to the story and half to her skill, the interplay of characters and emotions.

I truly appreciate your thoughtful comments. Creative types often find ourselves in situations like that, don't we?
I drive over the road. I've really enjoyed these stories during my long drive. But this last one had me in tears. Neil might have started off as a scoundrel but the way he embraced the role of father to Caroline has turned him into a saint in my eyes. Thank you for making this truck drivers run so much brighter. I can't wait to hear more🤗
Knowing that my stories have been a companion on your long drives truly warms my heart. It's especially moving to hear how Neil's transformation and his journey with Caroline touched you. So eloquently said!!
This was one of my favorite books! I laughed out loud several times! Thank you for this.
You're so welcome! Edward and Caroline were incredibly fun characters for me to get to know, too.
It was something of a relief for me to go back, too. I'm working on the next book right now. ;-)
It's going to be SO much fun. I'm writing the second book now. Lord Inglewood - Silas - is a big part of it.
@@AuthorSallyBritton sounds great, that couple is still my favourite I think.
Congratulations Sally, on bringing to us your brilliant continuation of your imagination with your characters journeys.
Thank you so much!
Wow, thank you!
Lovely continuation of the Inglewood saga. Always did like Lord Neil and his story in the first series ❤
Neil is a treasure. I adore him. I’m glad you do too!
My favorite ended up be Lord Neil's story...and this was the perfect continuation. I adore this story!
Yes I loved Lord Neil's love story too
Lovely book, as always. Meaningful and enjoyable. And I loved your author's note at the end, especially the bit about changes in our thoughts. This hit home for me because of everything happening right now, especially in #gaza .
Fiction is often a way for us to deal with reality, as well as escape it. A lot of my favorite books tie well into what's going on in the world today.
Never a disappointment! Wonderful and very enjoyable story. Great job to the author and narrator. Enjoyed the intertwining of the characters and stories. And love the author notes! ❤
Ps. Thank you for the Inglewood Series Family Tree
Ive been waiting for this one and happy to be reading it. Thank you for putting it on RUclips. I’m happy to be revisiting Caroline and Lord Neil. I became fond of that rascal 😊
He is my favorite rascal. Claude might become a second favorite. 😏
Just finished this delightful listen. Will Claude have his own story revealed? I loved this story of a young woman in that time period being given a chance to have her dreams come true and break out of the norm for a regency woman. So much to to interest the reader in this book.
@@irenescott3108 I really want to write Claude's story!
That would have been clever! But I have other plans for Claude.
Your author talk & insights are one of my favorite things about your RUclips audio editions. ❤
Wow, thank you!
Found it!! ❤🎉❤🎉❤ Thank you, Sally!
You’re so welcome!!!
Awesome Read. I so loved returning back to the Inglewood series, feels like a real life period. Thanks for sharing Sally .
Glad you enjoyed it!
How sweet. I am so excited to be listening to this much anticipated audiobook. Thank you Sally & Marian😊
God Bless both of you & your beloved and all admirers of your audiobooks 😊💖😊
I adore all of your books. I love the snow falling. That's my favorite. Thank you for all you do. Love, k
Lord Neil is my favorite character ❤
Thank you so much.... What a great story❤️❤️❤️
Delighted you enjoyed it!
Thank you for the book and the notes very interesting ❤😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for sharing your fabulous books and great narrators!
What an adorable story and narration. Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤ beautifully done and clean. I love it. ❤
Thank you for adding your voice at the end and for sharing not only historical information, but also your personal information. I'm glad you have loving support. May that continue throughout all your life. ☮️💞🙏🏼
I appreciate that!
Another masterpiece! I love how Claude was used as a catalyst to release the expectations on Edward. I can't wait to hear his story!
I’m so happy to hear Claude will have his own story! I love all these characters! 😭😭 Thank U Sally!!
Beautiful as well as super vibrant !!
Thank you so much!
Beautifully done. I love how the unique personality of each character shows through in their dialogue.
Thank you for all your lovely book stories and thanks for the wonderful “ team” that helps put them out for our pleasure.
Glad you like them!
Oh I love Marian's voice SO much! And Sally your Inglewood series has to be my favorite!! I am so excited about this new one!!
It was quite fun!
Enjoy this Christmas 🎄 season!
A super book thank you!!
You're so welcome!
Thank you so much for posting another of your amazing and lovelly audiobooks best wishes to you and your family
Thank you! You too! ❤️
Haaha
A super book for you!
Loved this one glad to see it uploaded
Thank you so much! I love the Inglewood series!

Hope you enjoy it!
I cant see very well any more i love all your stories i am so glad i found all of your books on here ty so so very much
You are so welcome! 🥰
Lovely. I so enjoy your books!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for uploading your book. 🤍
I am so glad that you got out from under that dark cloud and had people invested in you and your well being
Thank you for your kind words and support. It's been a journey, and having a community like this makes all the difference. I'm glad you enjoyed the book, even with the unexpected turn regarding the father's character. Life, like fiction, often presents us with surprising twists. Your engagement and feedback are greatly appreciated! ❤️📖
What a heart warming story💟 thankyou🌸
Awesome❤
Thanks. ☺️
Great story as always and Marian Hussey is one of the best narrators she brings great books to life.
Couldn't agree more!
It makes the story more interesting that you brought your personal touch. Thank you
Lovely story and narrator!
Oh yay!!!! Looking forward to this
Hello energetic dog! 😊
I have truly enjoyed this and it makes me want to revisit the first set of the series.
Neil is such a complex and lovely character. I'm glad you're enjoying it!
I have just completed this most anticipated book. It is one of my favourites. Thank you so very much ! 🤗
You're so welcome! 💕
Such a beautiful story I love it's from the heart. I'll been waiting for it, and it's didn't disappoint me me at all thank you so much for putting this one out ❤❤❤
Thank you for another wonderful audiobook!
Thanks for listening! 🥰
This was an enjoyable story and nice to hear what was happening down the road in the characters lives.❤
Lord Neil's story is my favorite frm the first series..
Thank you for these wonderful stories..
This was so pretty. Thank you for posting.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful entertaining story! ❤
Thank you! 😊
A very good read. 5 Stars. Thank you Sally.
The narration is also very lovely.
Appreciated.
You are so welcome! I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
Your books helped me through a difficult time. I missed Inglewood so much. Thank you for uploading ❤
I love your books and your voice giving us your notes at the end of each. 😁
Oh thank you! That part always makes me nervous. Y'all go from listening to my fabulous narrators to my unprofessionally honed voice!
You sound like a dear friend, and I believe your love for your 'child' colors your voice beautifully💖
Marian is incredible. I love working with her. I really, really need to write the next book in this series just so we can have her voice again...
I Loved it! Looking forward to more!❤
Sally Britton, i love your stories, have been systematically listening to them as i paint. However i eagerly await the end of each story to lusten to you talking about you're personal process. Just in time for the weekend….❤
Well done! Loved it!!
I'm thankful you were able to come out of burnout through this novel.🙏🙏🙏
Sincerely, A Fan
PS: I saw another listener had mentioned re-listening to "An Unsuitable Suitor" and found "Romancing The Artist".
The same happened with me.
I was delighted to see this new work and puzzled why it took 11 months for me to see it.

Yes, love the author notes.

The fact that both of them had their life-time dreams come true. Love and travelling!

Muat be something wrong with my device, but I don't hear any sound...
The sound is working for me - maybe try again. Double-check your device settings. Sometimes, RUclips makes a video "viewable" before everything has processed. It's possible you hit play before the sound was fully loaded.
It is working fine for me. I have already read it on Kindle. I loved it. Looking forward to listening.
