You know, there was a perfect opportunity for an emotional character development reunion in this game. Showing Sonic how much he needs his friends in order to stay emotionally stable. But no! This is probably what happened based on the writing! Sonic: *Waltzes into the resistance hq after his friends thought he was dead* Sonic: *lOnG tImE nO sEE* I'm sorry XD
How Sonic Forces could've been better. 1. Leave Classic Sonic out, He got his return with Sonic Mania. 2. Make the other characters playable with their own missions. Like have Rouge with Stealth Missions, or Knuckles and Omega with destroy missions, or Tails with data gathering missions. 3. Don't skip over the months of war. Let us see the Resistance's desperate struggle to fight off Eggman. Maybe some missions to fight Badniks while locals evacuate. 4. Better customization options for custom character. A lot of the customization feels out of place with the sonic world. Some in universe gear might add flavor. 5. Give everyone a chance to shine. Kind of a repeat of idea 2, but in the final battle we could've gotten a lot with that big charge. Seeing everyone giving their all to win the war. Heck, Sonic Heroes, as cheesy as it was, at least gave everyone a part to play in the final battle. 6. Expand on the Phantom Ruby's power. The power to make virtual replicas of other characters as powerful as the originals was a cool idea. Imagine if Eggman used that to resurrect Dark Gaia, or Perfect Chaos, or Devil Doom, all of whom under his command. Then again I guess the power to warp reality is limited to the user's imagination. Sidenote, why was the rookie of all characters sent to rescue the main character?

Since we did not get to see Dr. Eggman at the end credits or his final fate after defeating the Death Egg it makes me wonder if he is finally gone. It would be shocking but after coming so close to almost winning it be a hard act to top. IF Eggma really is gone maybe it be good for a change, spice things up for Sonic games.MAYBE bring back the original Dr. Robotnick as a new major villain in games
I always picture Ronan the Accuser in my mind when I listen to Battle with Death Queen.😅😅 The sound of a strong, persistent madman who shouts a lot, with a lethal weapon in hand. 👌
Sure the game has a poorly put together plot. voice acting. questionable dialogue. And how the levels are so short. the only thing I like is the new graphics on the hedgehog engine 2. Let’s just hope sonic frontiers does better than the last game we’ve had

Forces disappointed me with it’s cartoon graphics and using the Lost World engine. If this was somewhat like Unleashed this would’ve been one of my top10 sonic games however i dislike it.
