I'm SO happy these are available on RUclips. The version on Spotify kept spamming the same 30 second ad over and over again, to the point that it made the show impossible to listen to.
Crazy how there's literally not been anything rivaling the quality of these audio stories until the recent release of the 1984 dramatization audiobook. That version of 1984 with Andrew Garfield is incredible
I see you didn't hear about the GraphicAudio website, especially the Stormlight Archive series, which is 50x times better than 1984. Also, Phil Douglas narrating The Lord of the Rings is awesome.
@@daedaluxe I listened to 1984 a month ago; it has five voice actors, which is excellent, but Stormlight books have multiple times more and one single book from the series is over 20 hours longer than 1984. Books are written better, its like Lord of the Rings on steroids and there are sound effects too and music. But to each their own.
17:50 - "Rack 'Em". They just don't make them like they used to. *End of episode* Wow that was actually great. I somehow didn't see that coming at all, they genuinely do not make them like they used to. This was a hell of a lesson for a young man.
@@spartan3460 He didn't say it was from long ago. He just said it was as good as it. Mind you, I disagree. Dossier on Dumetrius, Deadly Nightshade and 26 Hours are the three best radio serials ever imho.
I am deeply grateful to you for uploading this valuable audio recording. Although my memory might be mistaken, I believe that I may have used this English learning material-a combination of a cassette tape and script-quite some time ago.
I was thinking which was better, this or Night Gallery's Red Velvet Rope then realized I was comparing stories about comparing people and it felt weird
Hi there what's going on with your channel, I click on your channel to play The Twilight Zone radio episodes separately, and I only see 175 episodes and no separate ones. Then another channel takes over under a different name your channel completely disappears. Because I usually listen at bedtime I don't choose to play 175 videos as they will continue to play through the night
The '80s remake of this episode had a better ending. Fats wins, nothing happens to Jesse, and when Fats turns to leave, Jesse stops him and says "But you said if I lost, I'd die." Fats replies, "And you *will* die. You'll die irrelevant, and forgotten. Legends live forever." Or something like that.
@@Emper0rH0rde always found that ending a damp squib, the Rod Serling ending paid off every line about obsession that came out of Fats' mouth become poetic when Jesse was stuck in the same situation

So good to find a series posting all episodes in the right order. Many thanks.

I've got the original and BBC's 1984 version (gr8 musical) . But not that one.😅
A Canticle for Leibovitz is one of the best I’ve heard
I love the fats voice actor
His voice is soooo good!
I love how gritty it is
"it was cool and dark. Like being underwater, ya know?"
Fats: "yeah... I know..."
This is very exciting. Thank you for posting it.
Love these old time radio shows
This was recorded in 2002.
This is probably my favorite episode
Great old mystery radio shows & Twilight Zone at that. Thank you so much for sharing them. ❤

Wow, these are absolutely fantastic! Thanks for the mind-movie ride ;-)
Jonathan Winters was Fats in the original TV program. He killed the dramatic role. 🏆
I've always loved the Twighlight Zone since Rod Serling's original made in 1959. These radio episodes are brilliant too.
Great Google-E-Moogley! I'm falling into another dimension! Shit... It's Burgess Meredith!
What a brilliant story!
These played back in the times where memes used to be long txt msgs that would come in 2 or 3 txt how long it was😂
Quality’s crazy good
That's because it was recorded in 2002.
He found out that being the best at anything carries with it a special obligation to keep on providing it.
Amazing! It's great as a learning tool for English students.

Thank you 😊
Imagine these guys meeting Efren Reyes
Cool! 🎱
I was thinking which was better, this or Night Gallery's Red Velvet Rope then realized I was comparing stories about comparing people and it felt weird
I also think Red Velvet Rope is better since it feels like the protagonist is in more of a trap

Fats cheated with the cheap sharking tactics.
Didn't cheat. Just tested him a little. "Pressure is what separates champions from the also-rans." -James Howard "Fats" Brown
This is corny.
