Absolutely wonderful nylon arch-top (what a concept) and rendition of Wave. Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Came to see and hear the lovely guitar, stayed for the magnificent musician.
Pincher Voice: thanks for watching! Keep swinging - Axel
Most beautiful phrasing on this song to date. Thank you.....
I just smoked a left handed cigarette and this is really taking me on a journey. I'm sitting on a lawn chair in the wooded area behind my house and the night air feels fantastic. I love how peaceful and subdued everything is. Thanks for the ride, sir. Big ups to alien nation, they are among us, ayy lmao 🔥 👌 👽 👌 🔥
Orange Alien Sludge Bear: Thanks for watching, greetings to our aliens and enjoy! Thanks Axel
Really nice, one of my favorite Jobim tunes. Wish I could play like this - I know, practice, practice...
I loved it, thank you. Lovely guitar also, mellow with clarity and high definition.
Hey Ape, many thanks for your kind comment! All the best - Axel
A thoughtful and musical extemporisation. Some beautiful melodic jazzy lines. Superb playing.
MrMjp58: Many thanks for your kind words!
Daniel Slaman: Luthier for the Gods. What a guitar! And such great playing, Axel. I love Jobim. Wave was the first song of his I fell in love with.
Thank you so much!!
Very Smooth, nice arrangement and perfect playing, i love it!
Beautiful smooth sound.
Heitor Peres: Many thanks
It's seldom we get to hear truly great improvisers . Improvisation within Jazz , and particularly Latin Jazz as is the case here - can be subjective. If there is no audible link which echoes and reminds us of the Composer's beautiful melody - which, let's face it , was in fact never originally intended by the original Composer, to be varied, or improvised on at all, then Jazz solos run the risk losing our audience's interest, and THEY after all are sole recipients expecting rightfully that what we do as Jazz Guitarists, Musicians will please them. Alex Fabry does precisely what legendary Jazz improvisers do so very well. I hear Wes, Stepane Grapelli, Yuhudi Menuine in Axel's poignient, masterful improvisation. It follows the line of Jobim's "Wave" in the images I have as a surfer as I watched Dolphins caress the surface of crystal clear Aqua off shore swells headed to me as I then took off with them below me to enjoy the ride. And " enjoy the ride " we do here. BEAUTIFUL !
Dave Simmons: just saw your very nice comment this evening. Seems that I missed it 2 years ago. Thank you very much for your respectful comment. Have a great time - Axel

Hi Jim, thanks for your compliment!
Excelente!!!
Thanks for watching!
Sweet!
Thanks!
That's pure magic, outstanding playing and love the arrangement! Where have you been?
Jim Patterson thanks! I'm living in Germany near Cologne. Thanks - Axel
Particularly enjoy the tone he gets from his Daniel slaman nylon archtop... dude is a master player too time, feel, the notes its all there....I keep saving hoping one shows up on used reverb or ebay, no one ever parts with a Slaman guitar.
christopher hanna: thanks! I highly recommend to try a slaman guitar. All the best for 2019 - Axel
Wave De Luxe😊 5:06
Love this one, your facility on guitar is amazing! I bet your good in math too. I echo the album request. Best regards, jimp
Hi Jim, many thanks. Interesting that you assume that I'm good in math. But that's right :-)
The correlation between people who are proficient in music and math seems to be true. I bet Bach was a math whiz, he certainly knew his way around a music score! Really enjoying your music. Regards, JimP
Cool, thanks!
fantastic guitar tone and guitar playing! did you play it acoustically or through an amp?
Hi, thanks! The guitar was amplified. All the best for 2015 - Axel
May I ask which amp? Is this from a rmc pickup?
Hi Axel. I really like your music, do you sell your arrangements (music sheets) with backing tracks? Thanks.
Hi Szymon, thanks for your kind words. I‘m happy that you like my music. I don‘t have special sheets, I only use the RB stuff or sheets and backing tracks from Jamey Aebershold. So I don‘t have sheets or backing tracks that I can give to you. Sorry, stay healthy in these times - all the best - Axel
@@jazzFABRYk Thank you Axel for your reply. What's a pity that you don't have any music sheet, it could be a good adventure to read them all. Anyway, these backing tracks are available online? I how to check it out. It is a good idea to improvise with them.
@@szymonrojek6480 : You can search for „Jamey Aebershold playalong“ and you will find booklets with cd/dvd for various titles. Also interesting is the app drumgenius that I use a lot. This app brings several different jazz grooves in many different tempos. Have fun - axel
Where do you get your play along music from.?Love the bridge on that guitar, Great Jobim number always liked that.
Some are from Aebershold and some are made by me with a looper. This one's is from Aebershold. Thanks - Axel
Nice sounding, more like a classical guitar sound than the acrhtop effect.
