YES!!!!! Actually at 71 y.o. this is my favorite version of Walk DR, nice job again Tom !!! Just a side note , A buddy who liked the Ventures as much as me got this on 45 when it came out and I was hooked its a great memory.Thanks again for you efforts.

Your timing was perfect today. The last half hour of my favorite local Los Angeles radio show concluded with an all surf instrumental section. You came in during "Baja" by the Astronauts. I grew up surfing and playing the guitar during the "surf music" era and your channel brings back lots of pleasant memories.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am searching for a special version of "Walk Don't Run, it begins with a base intro where the bass player plays alone for 15-25 seconds and then the band comes in succeedingly, the bass dominates the whole song one could say, I heard the version on an Lp release with a black and white cover where the motive is some kind of "modern abstract art," I don't know when it was released but it is probably between 1970-2000, this description is perhaps not sufficient for anyone out there to react on but I would be very grateful for a response or tip where I can find this special version of "Walk Don't Run," what I can say is that it is not the first version from 1960 and not the 1964 version. Tom, I am a big fan. I am on my 3rd lesson with you. I'm having triuble at :25 (end of the 4th Tab image) through :30. The Tab does not look like its matching what your fingers are doing. Freeze it at :27 and you'll see what I mean. Please advise me on what is correct. Thanks!

I appreciate that, thanks. I do try to be accurate but I know it’s not always note for note or the same technique they used. I try to reference live videos too but it’s often impossible to play it like the Ventures. Because they were the Ventures! Thanks again!
