Hey everyone, what do you think of the new intro that my friend Compufxr made for me! Let me know your thoughts in the comments please! Enjoy todays video of "Scrapping a Wine Refrigerator"
Tell me about it bro! Next time, I do my homework first! I gotta get going on those AC’s so I can finish up the series! Looks like I know what I’m doing every night this week. Thanks for the kind words man! 😁
The air conditioner actually worked hahahahah. Awesome into brotha! Keep up the good videos 🔥🔥. Lol hardly any copper, I like the miscellaneous ingot 🤣🤣🤣
Yup!!! A 6000 BTU that the girlfriend will most likely inherit. She already has a 5000, but hers is the old dial knobs with no energy saver or timer. A perfect upgrade. No damage whatsoever to the fins either. Thanks a bunch bro! My friend did a good job with the animation! Now I look kinda professional! 😁🔥🔥🔥
To bad the AC worked (not bad for you of course 😉) but the refrigerator was a decent replacement! Except for the lack of copper😔. You still got a nice aluminum ingot!😉.
Yeah, I kinda regret not scrapping it, but I dont like scrapping working AC's when I know I can probably get more $$$ out of it by selling it versus scrap value. Not to worry though, I got a bunch more that I've picked up since then 😁
Thank you kind sir! I was definitely disappointed in the wine fridge. Being a Haier fridge, I thought the copper content would’ve been higher! I’ll still pick them up if I see them and just pull off the aluminum heatsinks. 😁
Very, very minimal and for the time it took me to get it out, wasn't worth showing those efforts. Same goes for those micro transformers on the boards. I think there was less than 20 grams recovered from all of the stuff done off-camera. The wire was about 80% of the total weight if memory serves me correctly. Thanks for watching!
too bad .. those ac units have alot of copper ... good to know though .. i have an old wine fridge here that was on the scrap list ... might just pass on it now .. its even a bit smaller than the one in the vid so prob not worth it ... thanks again !!
Hey man talk about a let down huh? I figured I could probably sell that air conditioner for $30-$40. Even if there was 5 lbs of copper in it, I could make more trying to sell it as a working unit. The other two don’t work so those are next in line to be scrapped out 😁 Thanks for commenting and watching man!
I bought it from PMCSupplies, it wasn’t cheap... I just checked their website and they are now selling it for $106.68. I believe they have a coupon code of PMC5 for 5% off. If you’re just going to use it for aluminum, might I recommend welding up some U-channel steel and make a gigantic one! In the vid I posted today, I made two aluminum ingots a little over 3.5 pounds each in my biggest steel mold. I wont use it for copper / brass. 😁

@@Scrap2Cast I agree, something working doesn’t need to be scrapped. Ooooh, can’t wait to see what you got 😁😁😁
@@SJWCASTING lots of goodies to be scrapped. Lets just say there will be a Blue Pallet Series - Season 2 😉🔥🔥🔥
@@Scrap2Cast😱😱😱 awesome ‼️‼️‼️
Great intro.....not so great wine cooler......still got it all good bars man
Thanks bro, yeah they suck to scrap. Not much in them. Thanks for watching 😎👊🏼☮️
Spicy new intro! Shame that fridge was a bust, though. Live and learn, I guess.

It's all good. Ingots are ingots.
You’re absolutely right man! More metal for the stack 😁
Was there any copper in the fan motors?
