    Riding the 2009-14 Bombardier 5000 Series #5635 on the Red Line (Run #903)
    Also, I do like the operator on the train for the amazing and inspiring announcement he does on the train. I do know and recognize him since I've road with him as an operator many times. We had a nice conversation one time at Howard.
    JUNE 6, 2021 UPDATE: He doesn't work here anymore. :(

    I work on the Red & Purple Line Trains but today i did the Purple Line. I definitely love this conductor, he's a humble person.

      I agree. There are some conductors who want to fill each stop with life.

      Pretty difficult to answer, but the State Street Subway is pretty interesting especially with how crowded the line can get.

      Back in the 1930s it was anticipated all the elevated lines would eventually move to the subway. The decision to build a continuous platform was due to the closeness of the downtown stops and to provided multiple berthing positions for different lines. The Loop L had been modified this way for years continuing to the 1980s when it's continuous platforms were removed.
