Brilliant solution. I'm getting one. THANKS I have a PS90 with ManCave (I think) low Pic rail to low mount my Vortex SPARC II red dot. Works fine BUT I would like to move my HOLOSUN 509T circle/dot sight from my RUGER 57 pistol to my PS90. Your mount is the answer! BTW, I have the AEMS on the barrel short Pic rail on my 9 mm RUGER PC chassis carbine. BEST PCC red dot, IMHO.
Excellent product. Love it with my holosun 507 comp. Word of caution though- my factory mount screw heads immediately stripped and I had a tough time getting them out. I’d recommend putting some heat on them before removal.
Good call! And if anyone is worried about roasting their polymer receiver with a torch don't hesitate to use a soldering iron. Just crank it up to 10 and put the tip of the iron into the head of the screw(s). Can vouch it does work but requires a little more patience than a torch.
I made a mistake ordering I emailed customer service they got me squared away within an hour then got the shipping confirmation an hour after that. Amazing customer service will absolutely do business again!
AEMS yes, our direct mount is about 1.4" lower than if you mounted on the stock rail. RMR will be about 0.6-0.8" lower depending on how you would have mounted to the stock rail (IE depends what RMR-to-1913 adapter you use).
Any suggestions for an optic to get the lowest profile lowest HOB without going to a new receiver on these? I have a vortex venom mounted on the factory 1913 rail I think it's about 4 inches height over bore measured with my calipers from the center line of the red dot to the bore. I think I should be able to drop heigh around an inch without that super thick rail adapter in the way lol. Guessing those micro red dots get a little lower than something like a t2 or an aems or 510c or something.
We like to remind customers that by design PS90 is going to be tall, there is a magazine between your cheek and the barrel after all :-) You are correct though, open emitter dots like RMR and 507 are going to be the lowest, especially when paired with our direct mount. However, we typically recommend the T2 footprint as a nice "middle ground" in that you have a TON of optic choices and the optic itself is not "too low" to be fast and comfortable. Again try not to get lost in height over bore. Yes, its real, but also try to balance that concern with burring your face into the stock/comb in order to get a full sight picture... Our RMR mounts are going to be about 0.8" lower than your venom on the 1913 rail, just like you said. We are also working on mounts for Acro and 509T right now. These will be just slightly lower than the T2 family centerline, and still give you an enclosed emitter. ETA on these is Fall 2023.
@@hb_industries Thanks for the reply! Yeah you're absolutely right I didn't get a PS90 for low height over bore but it sure looks cool lol, seems to be a trend lately with trying to get higher HOB especially with the trend of the Unity risers on AR's lately, so hey I think this setup should work just fine as a middle ground!
Respectfully disagree. Most RDS optics have 60MOA of adjustment (30" @ 100yrds in every direction). The threaded bushing on the factory rail is related to the integrated iron sight, which requires infinitely fine adjustment for zero. Our dedicated optic mounts do not have integrated irons, and fine adjustment is handled by the RDS/optic. You are correct to say shims are cheaper, they are also lighter and simpler than a threaded bushing. However we believe that your comment is incorrect/out of context with regards to alignment/zero.
Negatron sir, ps90 and p90 is defined by the action capabilities. Safe, semi, and auto is what defines a p90, ps90 only has semi and safe. He has an sbr ps90. Respectfully
Oh boy just what i needed just bought a PS90 and have the same optic

We got you! Hang in there for another couple weeks :-) We will have 509T mounts for the PS90 in stock and ready to rock here shortly!
Great video, made installation simple ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
just what I needed to finish my build. Thanks!

@@hb_industriesgood idea on the soldering iron. I had to leave it sit close to 20 minutes but it helped. Those factory screws were tiger tight

Thanks for putting this out.
Amazing product 👍 very happy with it 🤩
Solid mounts!
Should you loctite the rear screw that holds the mount down?
Yes, using blue loctite (either 242 or 243) would be a great idea.
It doesn't matter what shims I run, the rear of the mount is always up against the left side of the rail
I'm trying to decide between the RMR & AEMS mount right now.
Is it significantly lower than factory?
AEMS yes, our direct mount is about 1.4" lower than if you mounted on the stock rail. RMR will be about 0.6-0.8" lower depending on how you would have mounted to the stock rail (IE depends what RMR-to-1913 adapter you use).
Can you make a video with the Trijicon MRO ? I’d like to see how it would look with your mount.
would look kinda like this: hbindustries.net/store/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/HBI-FN-P90-PS90-TRIJICON-MRO-OPTIC-MOUNT-RIGHT-e1681937890464.jpg

The hack with the shims to cheap out means you never get it aligned properly.

Next time don't talk sooooo much, I couldn't watch the entire video 😢
That's a P90 not a PS90. The short barrel length is the giveaway. PS90s are longer.
