I just lost my father-in-law on Good Friday and after loving this man for 57 years I was swept away with Abi's emotional performance, she is the Winner of American Idol for me! Folks please keep voting for her ❤
When I first watched this Idol night, I skipped past the back stories just to see the performances... This touched me without knowing about her Grandma... Even watching it as a recorded performance, I could feel the intimate connection and knew she was sharing her story. Amazing.
Dennis, if you get this, to me Abi is by far the MOST overall talented singer in this competition BUT based on stuff I read, she is far from the winner. There are others that are getting a lot of love to. You're thoughts 🤔

This one got me. I lost my Mom i. 2021 as well. This girl makes you feel every word. She is so incredible. Her voice is what an angel must sound like.
Abi broke me with this song. The same reaction I had to Monsters last year. She is so talented. My definite favorite this year.

My grandpa passed away in April of 2020, and in either 2022 or 2023 we lost his aunt Rita. I cried while listening along with you, Dennis.
