I bought this cooling mat for my Dell G15 Ryzen Gaming Edition and it's perfect! Not only does it provide the best viewing angle for the screen and typing angle for the keyboard, it also keeps my cpu a good 8 degrees cooler and it now doesn't thermal throttle when heavy gaming anymore.. plus I can now use my laptop on my lap, in bed, on the couch... It is light and Small enough to fit in my laptop carry backpack.. I can't live without it now.. it's the perfect cooling mat! 10/10
@@HNTHub nice! I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am.. it's the perfect cooling pad.. the ability to in use it on any surface and the height and angle it puts your laptop at makes it better than all others I've owned before.. plus there is no risk of my laptop slipping off, unlke others I've owned in the past
Hi there, finally i bought 6th gen Ci7 Asus GL702VM Gtx1060 at around 1500$ (discount price :P) , remember Mafia 3 game play comments regarding purchasing laptop? :) . Its a slim 17 inch laptop and due to this slimness it has heating issues, normally at idle CPU and GPU runs between 50-55 degrees C and during load it jumps to 90 degrees and gpu start throttling. So what i did was just change the power value of both cpu and gpu in power management from 100% to 99% (stated in forums) and it works!! no more gpu/cpu throttling. This targus is availble here as well and here comes the review!! now i am gonna buy it soon. Thanks :)
nicolae28050 these are designed to be upgraded and if you are careful and not damage anything then you can put more ram in very easily without affecting the warranty, I'm gonna stick 16GB in mine when I get the cash and I'll stick a video on here when I do.
Well ik when cpu is at 100% load its fine to cross 70's and 80's celsius but when i play dota 2 and load is between 50-60% cpu temperature is at 70-73... But gpu stays cooler at arnd 65 degrees.. Is it normal in the omen???
yup perfectly normal and well below the thermal throttling limit. The GPU can go up to 97 degrees and the CPU can go up to 100 degrees so you have plenty of room to spare. 80 degrees is the hottest I've ever seen anything get and once I saw the GPU get to 78 but well within the limits so nothing to worry about.
ive crossed 80's on cpu while editing video...with a lot of effects... and rendering it.. well maybe its cause I live in a place where temperatures during the day are already about 38 degrees
I think the mafia 3 is horribly optimized, gtx 1050 is a great card but if it pushes like 90-100 percent of the cpu and gpu i guess i'll stay away from it!Plenty of other games there

Zeeshan Haider no probs hope it helps, as you can see for me it cooled my Omen down quite a bit so happy with that.
Thanks pal!
hey, its a way to my HP OMEN 15-AX210NS that has 4gb of ram to put in total 8gb and dont loose the waranty?

Deepak Rao yeah your ambient temperature is already 20° higher than where I live so the fact it's cooling it as well as it is is pretty amazing.

yeah Mafia 3 is a beast but even maxing out the CPU/GPU I average around high 40's on the FPS at mostly high settings so quite happy with that.
