Great video! Simple accounting basics + ERPNext = Easy to understand. Thanks for sharing!
Hussain, I found it really helpful that you verbally explained your thought process each time, it helps viewers who are new to accounting learn the way to think through these questions of credit vs debit, asset vs liability, income vs expense.
"Bank account is asset, Asset, Expense -> Debit and Liability, Income -> Credit ( remember AED LIC ) so the type of Asset is debit. Money in bank account is going down, that means value of debit - type account is decreasing, so it's a credit transaction"
When you verbally explained your thought process like this each time, it really helped me grasp what's going on, and how all of this works.
amazing video man... you rock!!
Thanks Umair and Hussain with this amazing session. Learnt a lot in this crash course session. Do plan more sessions specific to service/healthcare industry.
Thank you
Good Video. How to connect Party Type and Party with Accounts in the Rent Deposit Journal Entry?
what is the video which Umair refers to for his accounting notes?
informative video, great work!
Thank you.
credit to the video content but the audio quality wasn't it
Yeah 🥲
Umair's audio quality is poor. Another session with a better mic would be extremely helpful!
Edit : Umair's audio quality improved after he switched from his earphones to his default MacBook mic at 1:35:20
