I really enjoyed this tutorial, you explained every step nice and slow and perfectly, you didn’t hurry & rush thru it.
What is the best way to mail a shaker to someone without it getting destroyed ?
Hi Lisa! Good question. I tend to mail shakers in boxes with other items. I don’t trust the mail to send them in regular envelopes. But you can always put cardboard on either side if you want to secure them. You may need to send them as a first- class package then (I think letters have to be 1/4” or less deep). TFW xo Jen
Thanks for this video
Great tutorial!! Thanks so much❤️
Yay! So glad you enjoyed! TFW xo jen

I’ve tried cutting the acetate with my big shot and not cutting thru. So thank you I will cut the acetate with scissors.
Great tutorial! Can you share the glue that you use? I’m sorry if I missed that in the video
Thank you! It was probably Art Glitter Glue, I usually use that for shakers. TFW xo Jen
Beautiful shakers . Jen could you somehow raise the volume. I have been having a hard time hearing you. Thank you!
Thank you for telling me! I will see what I can do about the volume. 😃 TFW! xo Jen
TFS this1
You’re very welcome! TFW xo Jen
Hi Jen! Is it possible to cut the acetate with the die cut or are the scissors required? Thanks for the share! 🎀
Great question! I’ve tried to use a die to cut acetate before but it didn’t work. I’m not sure if other people have had success. That would be so much easier! TFW xo Jen
Thanks so much!
Hi Jen and company. I have always used the background die to cut the acetate and it works for me. I just add a shim to my die cut machine and then run it through twice. I was wondering why you were using scissors - i have never had to do that.
LoveLetter INK Justine Cadena thank you for letting me know! Maybe I just don’t have the right sandwich combination. I will try different ones! Thanks again! 💕 xo Jen
What is used for the outline, it looks very thick and popped out?
It’s 3mm foam.
I am curious why did you cut the acetate by hand instead of using the background die.
I think it didn’t cut right with this die/acetate. I had been using one kind of acetate that wouldn’t cut well with dies...I think that was the case here. TFW xo Jen
@@strawberrycream39Jen I was just curious, I think I maybe have made 1 or 2 shakers and have never been happy with the results so I appreciate the tips.
Does it need a special tool to cut with the die
Yes you will need a diecutting machine, such as a Sizzix Big Shot to use the dies. TFW xo Jen
Hi! Where is the best place to order good acetate?
Hi Sonya! I get my favorite acetate from Amazon. It’s called “Grafix P05DC0912 9 x 12”, Pad of 25 - Ultra-Clear .005” Film, Acetate Alternative, Glossy Surface for Coverings, Stencils, Color Separation, Window Applications, Transparencies”. Hope that helps! TFW xo Jen
@@strawberrycream39Jen thank you!
They give you a die to cut out the acetate you know that right ? Lol
The acetate I was using for this video didn’t cut well with dies. I’ve since switched acetates. Thank you for your comment! xo Jen
