Funny I initially scoffed at the "first Alfa chassis designed knowing it would be for the Busso"... But after a moment remembered.. he's actually right.. The Milano/75 and SZ both just upgraded/variations of the type-116 chassis GTV6.. (Alfetta GT).. although... knowing it was a group chassis design effort... perhaps the Fumia Spider/GTV 916 still holds that title of 1st Alfa designed for the busso.
The Alfa 164 cloverleaf but not the Q, had one in black on an N plate, One beautiful car, picked up for a song an ex company car that had 120,000 on the clock when I got my WISC (Wolf In Sheep's Clothing) as he was registered with "Pipe and Slippers" for those that remember the web sight. Unfortately although regularly serviced as a company car and on occasions in excess of a grand to do so, it was not well carried out. A Great chappy in Codicote, IHerts was able to tell me the rear bank of plugs had never ever been changed. Great car sadly let down by poor official dealer maintenance . On a good note love the mark and enjoying and still enjoying a near twenty year old GT
