I went to game experts. I picked the wii game off the shelf priced with a sticker tag for $15. When I went to pay for it, he looked it up on the computer then said sorry it’s $20. Ouch !! I left.

I had been to that store 12 years ago and whoever owned it then treated it like a museum. Prices were bonkers. Though I am not sure if it is the same other. Either way it is an amazing store and have been 30 times in the last couple of years.
U ever come visit Woodstock, check out the one off a kind antique mall there. 1000+ vendors. it is amazing. Video games, toys. opens 7 days a week. 10 til 5
As a person who lives in Toronto, I've never been to any of the places shown in this video. Still, it's neat that someone out there is doing a video and enjoying these places. I must've mentioned this in a previous video but right now in Canada until February 15th there is no sales tax on video game and video game consoles so in addition to the savings you get with the exchange rate you also pay the price that's on the sticker without having to account for the 13% sales tax in the province of Ontario. Also, for the game at 19:02 I actually bought a loose copy from Facebook Marketplace last year but unfortunately, it seems my copy is defective as my Xbox 360 won't load it.

I haven’t been to the Sauga location, but the Ajax we got gamez is fantastic as well. Good service, everything is really neatly displayed and I don’t think I’ve ever seen any dinged up cases for sale.

I spoke with the gentleman about possibly getting the price closer to retail. I was told "Let me message the owner and see what he says". He wanted to do 140. I pointed out that it was their game and they can ask what they wish but if I were to bring in said game it would be traded in at PC value. I was basically told to "go buy it from ebay then if you want ebay prices". This is silly as they have all of their items at or above what you can pay on ebay. What really bothered me was that the man behind the counter was the owner. Which I found out a couple of weeks later. It was the last time I went in the store. Just a poor experience.
1 up in Hamilton is sadly expensive (compared to other similar stores around). There was another one in Hamilton, but it shut down after it lost his owner. But: 1. there is another game store on the same streed as Gamecycle in windsor 2. There are 2 more Gamecycles in London + Jumbo Video (that actually sells video games and even retro video games). 3. There is a very interesting store in Kitchener (close to University ave. exit from the highway) 4. And there are several Micromedia stores in GTA area
next time you're in Windsor check out The Game MD and Digital Oasis, they're very close to each other so I just park in the Digital Oasis parking lot and then visit both in the same stop.
It certainly would've been really useful for me since I went out of my to grab as many backward compatible OG Xbox & Xbox 360 games that I could get or was remotely interested in until recently.

I saw something I want at 5:06 😄 SNES Classic And I'm in Ontario right now.... 😏 Edit: I also have Fable 3 Limited Edition Book. Comes with a Good/Evil coin and a pack of cool playing cards themed after the characters. Very awesome. Love all 3 games.
Nice to see some stores that I didn't know about, but since I don't have a car, they aren't accessible to me at the moment. You didn't go to Toronto though, there are several used and new game stores here that I think are worth checking out.
@@AdamKoralik That's true for the one on Spadina. But I think Gamer Mania (Bloor near Keele) is a lot better prices but then can't compare to the ones that you went to. Also I think Video Game Plus is supposed to be good, I've got from them a couple of times. There is more but those are the two I can think off the top of my head. I go to Gamer Mania all the time.

I'm late to the game to an extent. Watched alot but can someone explain what's the deal with the Pluto being carried around like a baby and shown in every single video? Is it a marketing deal to show it for the eventual sell?
Were you dropped on your head as a kid? The exposure alone has a ton of value. And we already own just about everything there is already. If I weren't going for the 360 set I'd have bought like 8 things combined the whole trip. 😂
