Hi Sid. I never comment on Vids but had to on this one. Just got a field exactly the same as this. Been hitting it with the Nox for a couple of weeks and it’s really hard going. Constant iron Buzz and a Butt Ton of false signals. I was starting to doubt myself and the machine but you’ve shown me I’ve been doing everything right. You’ve made me feel so much better about my technique. Use your ears and take a punt on the iffy signals is the key. My Legend should be here next week. Can’t wait to get out with it. Hello, my English is very bad, so unfortunately I don't understand much of what you speak in your videos. Since you have already extensively tested the Deus 2 with the Nokta Makro Legend in comparison, can you please tell me which of the two detectors you find better? I might want to buy the Deus 2, but if the Nokta Makro Legend is better I'll consider it, there's a few bucks difference between the two. I've been hunting with the Deus 1 for 10 years and as a second detector I still have the Nokta Makro Simplex because it's waterproof compared to the Deus 1, I'm satisfied with both detectors so far, but the multi-frequency appeals to me and now I'm standing Given the choice, Deus 2 or the Legend, how would you choose in my place? Question I have simplex and equinox 600. And am interested in another detector. I know the legend is a lower price point but leaning towards a a deus or deus 2. Thinking about the deus 1. Someone said the legend is about the same as a equinox. What’s your opinion. And also is the deus 2 a huge difference from the 1. Any help would be great. Might just flip a coin to decide
Deus ii is the best out of them overall at the minute… i would prefer the legend over deus i and there is only slight advantages and disadvantages between all these machines, they all have good and bad points…. I loved my nox and would still be happy to use it any time but id have to say it would be a choice between legend and deus ii if i was looking at buying… legends cheapest at £679 and great performance and solid build, deus ii is most expensive at £1350 but it is the best over all and the nox is mid priced but the poor build quality lets it down at £949.. Not slagging any machine they all perform brilliant but value for money is king…
Been looking to upgrade from the Vanquish 540, which I do like but I want a more versatile detector. I have narrowed it down to three. The Legend, Equinox 800 and the XP Deus II. Any thoughts?

Great video Sid. I'm still getting to grips with my Legend, what settings were you using on this hunt? I've been out and about and getting good readings but when I dig its Iron. its getting to the stage where I'm being selective about what i dig and that's not good I might be missing things.
I’ve been struggling a bit with the legend. I’ve been getting good signals and digging iron. I’ve also been getting a lot of strong single bleeps but no finds not even iron. So it’s been a challenge in some places. Don’t get me wrong I have also found some great stuff a lot of silver and artefacts. But some fields have been a challenge. I will plod on. Keep posting your great videos mate and happy hunting.
How do I set up that grunt? Got the legend out twice soo far really liking it, only thing the field I detect is full of iron/interference any help appreciated as new to metal detecting, thanks

You’d be mad not to update when they come available, the legend is going to become a new beast over time as there aiming for better and better things with free updates
Really important to take this video with a pinch of salt as it's sponsored by a retailer. Any half-decent machine would find these targets. It's not heavy iron if you have to move the coil 12" to find it 😉👍

Because any half decent machine would find these targets" that might possibly be true. But since when does a HALF PRICED and a solid built carbon fiber shaft machine do what the others do? There's detectors that cost much more that won't find those targets

The deus ii is probably the best out them all at the moment but I wouldn’t say its too far ahead in performance… slight advantages, yes any edge can make all the difference on a mega productive field, so it all depends if you want to spend the extra money for that little edge
Headphones are my favourite yet on a detector… comfy, loud, fast connecting, and great battery… also the quality when connecting to bluetooth device to listen to music is the best ive ever heard👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Yes the higher the recovery the more you loose, but that’s how it works with all machines, but when conditions are like in video you will never be able to punch deep amongst heavily contaminated soil… less depth is needed as a faster search is way more important
sid do i replace my ctx3030 which is too heavy to swing all day with either deus 11 or the legend where i live its that really red high mineralised soil honest opinion please torquay dave
My coworker just got this detector. I gave it a quick once over. Seems like a more affordable copycat NOX800. Very very similar to an Equinox. I do like the hand grip and the flashlight on the back of it though. The handgrip is 10x better than the NOX. Way more comfortable.
It's as close to been a equinox as you can get , for me it looks to be a better detector especially the legend pro pack is far better value than the equinox toy that breaks
Used mine for first time sunday on a roman spot i have hammerd to death and it scored me 2 roman coins and 3 bits of lead, that 3 other machines didn't find

Nokta Makro legend is a great machine, had mine on field mode, sensitivity 20 and recovery 6, picked up 7 Romans.

P.s Seems to be the same conditions as this field in the video in my field, lots of mineralisation etc
@@lucianowatson2831 you need to set the tone break to about 8 and then make tone 1 a iron tone/grunt… that will make everything from 1/8 a iron grunt

I have detected that way and it wouldn’t be fair for me to comment as i know the ground is super tricky with mineralised soils…
cracking machine new it would be , and for less than 700 squid it's a no brainer but that's just my opinion sid

Always best to update as and when they arrive as it will improve performance
The Legend is just the entry level leader for multi-freq detectors. If you have the money get the NOX or the D2.

Try park mode,2 tones, M2, tone break 8, pitch 25, disc of G patten. Sensitivity 25, recovery 7…
