Regarding the "Pigs are People" sign, I looked up the definitions of people and they all referred to humans except this one - "lower animals usually of a specified kind or situation." I don't think most people (humans) would understand that statement as much as we'd like them to.

Gas Chambers were only technically introduced a century ago so this is not something that was practiced in the old days so I don't understand why man would start using a barbaric contraption to hurt such innocent sentient animals. Eating plant-based is the best way to go for the animals the environment and one's health.
A century ago most people couldn’t afford pig products. Now ordinary people expect to eat them every single day of their lives. The 3rd Reich didn’t start with gas chambers but realised ultimately they were cheaper and more efficient than bullets. Pig farming simply applies the same macabre logic.

The term "gas chamber" IS an inflammatory term. To consider WHY is important. it's a factual statement. It's a chamber, filled with gas. What the inflammation is indicative of is that people actually get that humans are cruel to do this to pigs - but instead of saying that, they put the spotlight on the actual term - and hence, avoid having to deal with the actual issue.
