Super nice home. Very well-done freshen-up all around. The house is large enough to live in and small enough to be easy to maintain. Also a good price. And, I have to admit, I really like the "10 minutes from Costco and five minutes from the airport" part. I dig Costco, and I'd be traveling a lot if I lived there. I'd add a pool, a jucuzzi and an outdoor kitchen. Looks like there's enough room to do it.
I feel like these Hawaii Real Estate prices are like a recession indicator. When they pop up again we'll know it's over. And I feel like they have been crashing for at least 6 months.
I'm not sure the data supports that position. The median sales price for Fee Simple residential in West Hawaii (North Kona and South Kohala) over the last 6 months from today is exactly $1,200,000. For the previous 6 months it was $1,070,333. That's a 10.8% increase in just 6 months. The median price last month in North Kona, where this house is located, was $1,548,000. So, that pop is RIGHT NOW, and it's going to pop a heck of a lot more as interest rates come down!
@@HawaiiRealEstate I did not realize that homes in Hawaii could be almost affordable. It's probably my own bias because I mostly click on the expensive home tours.
Not a fan of the color of cabinets at all. Would have went with white, or off white even, loved the wood shelves. The color of the cabinets darken the kitchen.
I think they should have went with a two tone. Like you said, lighter cabinets against the wall and maybe a darker color for the island? The contrast would probably visually “push” the walls of the kitchen back making the kitchen seem bigger. Overall, what a beautiful home.

@@fancycavegaming620you think 1 million for a normal home is affordable?!?!
almost... In comparison to my idea of a home's cost in Hawaii.
I think the Hawaii housing market is not going to be indicative of the lower 48 states housing markets.

Fair enough!

I like it 👍 & there is more than enough land/space for a pool 😊
It's a great space!
Seems like a peaceful neighborhood. Great yard
very nice, they did a great job with the kitchen/living spaces.
I think so too!
Is there an exhaust vent above the stove?
Is it land lease?
No, you own the land too!
