- The concrete season has come to an end but thankfully I now am renting a shop so projects can continue. This is what I do to keep my vehicles and equipment from rusting out due to road salt. Fluid film!
Hey Ryan, been watching the main since 25k subs. I think the majority of your fans would enjoy watching you do these winter projects just as much as traveling. We enjoy the content you provide and enjoy learning about your business, including the stuff you do in the background. Even if you don't think its worthy of the main, throw it up on here! Cheers from Pennsylvania!
Yeah. Would be even more interesting then travel vlogs 🙂
I agree ☝️
agree with you .all the best from uk
I agree 100%
Agreed 100%
You explain everything like a father, I mean your honesty and kindness make your videos life lessons and also entertaining.
have a great rest of the year Ryan
I fluid film all my vehicles here in the corrupt and rust land of Lincoln. I can smell fluid film just watching your video.
I love Miss Z. What a wonderfully kind woman. Imagine how cool everything would be if more people were like her.
Won-der-ful miss Z.
Amen!
I love how you support your workers doing their own jobs as long as it does not affect your jobs- that is one thing that makes you a terrific boss
I know right. There's a lot of bosses out there that would fire you if they found out you were helping competition.
Better be careful with that especially that roof job on the other site. Amateur city.
He has no choice as a boss if he wants to keep guys.
I wouldn’t want my business and brand associated with that Hack roof job. Need clear boundaries
@@Lunker75 don’t worry, you’ll never own a business to worry about it.
Long time listener, first time caller.
Love how much pride you take in a brand new investment. It’s great to see hard work payoff.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and the family.
Thank you 🙏
@@victorystyle2 how you get a dent in the side door of the new truck Ryan was it the destroyer 😂😂😂
@@victorystyle2 my mistake was the way light was shining wasn’t a dent
I love fluid film, great product. They sell a wand extension of sorts (not sure if for the fluid film gun or not) and I use that to go inside the doors and cab corners by removing the rubber plugs on my truck on the body. My frame rail is boxed also so use it to go up inside the frame. I enjoyed watching this video and look forward to the winter footage.
I do the same. They don't make an extension wand that fits the cap on fluid film. So I found some graffiti caps for aerosol cans, and the wand fits perfectly. It's a flexible wand and the end sprays in a 360 direction so you can spray inside the frame.
Ryan I have to say your one of hardest workers I’ve ever seen and such a wonderful guy it’s no wonder you’ve become so successful in business my hat goes off to you 💪💪💪
Thank you Daryl…….your the best employee
I love your release powder trick. I accidentally discovered this when I moved onto a dirt road and found my Fluid Film lasted WAAAY longer. Pro Tip: It's also great to shine up dulled out plastic on vehicles like mirror housings, bumper plastic, etc.
I had an 06' duramax that I sprayed. It got filthy driving down dirt roads and the stuff was stuck like glue! That's how I discovered it.
@@victorystyle2 oh man a reply from THE Ryan himself! I love the 03-07 Chevys, I still have an 04 that runs every day. My favorite Chevy body and they run forever. Love your channels, content, and crew. God bless!
What’s the release powder trick?
been watching all the old shop/winter videos, its so much better than the concrete videos in my opinion, more relaxing and just overall entertaining, keep up the work ryan.
Before watching this video, I subscribed to Eric and watched his videos with Francisco. I liked how he gave you much props and mad respect Ryan. I liked how he said if it wasn't for you, he wouldn't been able to get his side jobs going.
I enjoy watching your videos Ryan. I like how your a planner for the up coming months to your business and take care of your equipment and prevention/ Maintenance to your company vehicles 👍 You seem like a good man....Keep it up ⚒️ Have a great weekend and God bless☃️
Ryan is probably one the best people for someone Eric's age to start working with. Having your boss also be a great business mentor and life coach, who is willing to help you get your feet on the ground with your own business, is something you can't pay for. Then on top of that Ryan entertains us all with his videos. All around a huge blessing this guy is. Happy Thanksgiving in advanced all!
I lived in WI for more than half my life. Watching your videos helps me be closer to my roots. I enjoy watching you go through your days even when your not pouring. You give a perspective of how much time and energy a business takes to run. ❤
Hey Ryan I have something for you to watch out for with your new truck. You have to watch dumping with the tailgate down the way you did. If you have a hitch in there the tailgate will hit it and it will smash your tailgate as you raise the bed. It has happened twice at my job. Set the chains so the tailgate lays even with the bed.
Ryan you should always put a stop pole under the bed before climbing under the bed when it's up .
Looks like he's taking his shot at being a man
@nissanUltima so being a man is getting crushed to death? Ryan definitely make the stop pole. Like you say anything can fail at anytime. Just ask my uncle about these beds.
@40:12 ???
He did
Did you not watch all the video?
I have to say im a mechanic at heart but I really like the classical music the best. Just an old farmer living in illinois.
I needed this hour video bad man this really turns the night around
Glad you noticed that brace wasn’t up. I started to comment that you had missed it but then you noticed it down and said something. Well done.
I like these kind of videos Ryan! Even if it seems like it’s a boring day to you guys we still like a bit of a change from just concrete! In a good way! The “behind the scenes” so to say are cool too!
Mannnnn, Mrs.Z is absolutely one of a kind. Happy Bday to you Mrs.Z God Bless you and your family. Happy Thanksgiving to you all and God Bless. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday with family and friends. Much Love.
I wish ur concrete videos wer this long. Its cool not having to pick up the remote every 20-30min to watch another episode.
We just fluid filmed our new 3500 dmax, thankfully we have enough dust in our shop to throw on the frame, save the dust from your winter shop in buckets for this occasion! Glad to see you being proactive Ryan! Much love to victory from Franksville!!
PS:we poured concrete today too in Milwaukee!!😎😎
this is geting better then the main channel, its nt repetitive , its new content. good job.
You usually say you don't like recording stuff like you did on this video because it's probably boring for us. I like any videos you post. It's entertaining. Keep up the good work. Happy holidays, Victory Crew!
This is just as good as the content on the main channel. I thoroughly enjoyed it. You showing how hard you work, even in the off season keeps me motivated to do the same!
This popped up today while watching videos, just wow how much better you made that place look.
Keeps these coming Ryan , I watch “all” your videos, these are just as interesting as the other channel. It’s refreshing to see what you do . Keep the coming as best you can . You and you team, family are rock stars for me . Great job
I was just about to comment about bracing the box before working underneath and as I was writing, you cover the importance of bracing the box. Stay safe Ryan :)
Ryan,
Thanks for doing a break down on the Fluid Film. I just bought a 2022 GM box truck and I have been mulling over coating options. I came across a Fluid Film kit at a local hardware store the day you posted this. With as much junk as I am trying to keep nice, having my own kit makes sense. Thanks for making my decision easy.
And yeah, shame on GM for the potato grade camera. My new box truck camera looks like a fuzzy mess.
I know your a good man Ryan. Daryl leaving that salt in there was a sign of carelessness. He's made it clear over and over again that his work habits are just poor and deplorable. My employees know that type of behavior reflects on me as a boss.... I had an employee just like Daryl....one day hot, next day cold. After giving that employee his walking papers....operations became easier, smoother and less stressful. The next coming weeks after he was gone, many issues surfaced and I along with my employees saw just how toxic this person was. I then realized letting my emotions made me make poor business decisions.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
My opinion one of the best video of the season. Vlog Is way go thx brother
It did pretty well so I'm making more this winter for sure!
Just a bit of advise for the new truck.. Set chains on tailgate so it lays flat... If you let it go all the way down and put a hitch in your going to be furious with darryl when the tailgate is dented... Beautiful new truck congratulations. Enjoy the channel
Ryan thanks for the Tutorial on rust checking vehicle!! Purchased 4 cans of Fluid film and applied to truck today. 8 degrees here north of the border, but the salt is coming
Cheers from 🇨🇦
This is a good tip, My guy swears by putting lithium grease on all bolts and anything thing metal that is out in the weather! He often calls me outside to look at things from a long time ago to show me how well it works, it does, but it cracks me up his level of enthusiasm!
Honestly really enjoyed this type of video and appreciate the hard work that goes into editing and camera angles. Thanks Ryan.
Ryan, been watching the main channel for years. Just now found this channel today! Very happy I have some new videos to binge watch
Great seeing the large amount of work that has to be covered by the overhead on every billed job. People tend to think that small business don’t have overhead costs like the big corporations have and just make tons of money.
Nice Boss V, that's a snow pushing beast. I'm in the U.P. about 45 miles from Boss. I use Fluid Film every year on all our vehicles too! Also, sweet New Holland!
Ryan we love watching anything and everything you put out it doesn't matter what channel it goes on
you know you’re from the midwest when you clean your windshield with your bare hands! Love the winter videos!
Wow I really just watched the whole thing and wasn’t bored at all !!!😭😂😂 I love your videos Ryan I hope one day to be a successful general contractor 😊
I would work for you for free. Your job is fun and you have a passion for your work and people. Just sad that a few of your employees don't see that. Keep up the great work. Love to hear that your fans are as far as Hawaii..Aloha.
I think the biggest portion of your subscribers enjoy this kind of stuff. The traveling is fun to see…but these types of videos are educational and you can learn from them. Tricks of the trade.
Now we know why that f350 lasted so long. You take great care of your equipments man.
View your videos often, great content.I installed window wells over my wheels on my dump truck they keep overspray down.Truck is 22 years old and still in good shape
Ryan, one thing I have noticed while watching all your videos is you are a fair boss. You seem to put up with some drama from your guys. What I have noticed is you are no different from a majority of other bosses out there. All you ask is your guys put in a good day of labor and you look after the rest. I do not know what it is with some guys that think their bosses owe them a living. You seem really fair, you seem to pay your guys a good wage. Keep it up and I am happy for you that the rest seems to be working well for you.
Man I hope Eric's channel is as good as this one. Your a great role model for him it's great to see
Get the 360 hose tip for fluid film you can pull the plugs from the rockers and spray in there as well!
thank you for being so good at explaining fluid film. For real, it saves us rustbelt people.
Wool wax is nice.
Especially the black stuff for the dump trucks, if surface rust is present.
Makes me thankful I live in the South, watching what y'all have to do to rustproof your vehicles.
Ryan we just love when you simply film your day, we dont care if its local or travel, all same to us, honestly id say most prefer you just filming stuff like this video
Just from looking at this I can tell Ryan definitely ran a front end loader at a batch plant some time in his career. This channel is awesomd
I like this style Ryan. Looking forward to hearing about the new plow, skid loader and stuff.
I'm glad you braced the box and talked about it. That was concerning when you first started coating lol.
I remember the salt and rust. I don’t miss it.
I don’t know why you have two channel. I actually prefer the second channel slightly over your regular channel. I like both‼️🤗
I want to see more of the neighbour with all the junk.
He knows where everything his amongst the organised chaos. I like hoarding and seeing junk or tools or peoples collections and stuff.
He seems interesting too.
Totally agree with driving the vehicle down a dirt road. I also recommend you do oil spray twice a year. Concept is summer it creeps/penetrates way better with the heat. Winter like you said oil spray it and drive down a dirt road. I'm a new subscriber but I've already watched a ton of episodes to familiarize myself and catch up on the episodes so i can stay current. Cheers great work Ryan. All the best
You gave your truck a concrete baptism with the fluid film and concrete release powder 😂
I love it.
Love watching all of the channels. Just started my landscaping business here in Pennsylvania. Videos help me with ideas on how to run an outfit
Put a straw in the funnel so the air escapes it'll make the thicker material slide right down, Love the videos I'm a fan!
The pride of ownership! It's awesome to see someone take care of their equipment!
Great video I like all these building garages and fixing or spraying vans you defo learn a lot so keep doing these types of videos ty
SO I SEE YOU BOUGHT THE FORD NEW HOLLAND SKIDOADER THEY ARE A NICE UNIT
I for one love these types of videos. I can easily sit back and watch an hour of ticking punch list items. Looking forward to the cleaning and repair stuff to come.
I love these sort of videos Ryan just keep them coming 🇬🇧👍
Happy birthday Ms. Z! she’s the best, always got a smile on her face
New skid steer and snow plow for the new truck looking good
I love these long videos, keep posting them💯
Learned about Fluid film in 2013 from a Trucker when i was out picking up grease one one day. Swear by that stuff...
Happy Birthday to Miss Z, all the way from Scotland!
I absolutely love your videos you could just make a video everyday with no editing and post it and me and my wife would just sit and watch it keep up the great work and God Bless
Hey Ryan, no secret that the fluid film/ dust will work. I've bought several 25+ year old cars who have all had massive oil leaks doing the same rust prevention and the cars are completely rust free from being covered in oil for years.
Ryan never stops, wish I had some bosses like this guy, always grinding
New to your 2nd channel Ryan... like your wee tips how to prolong the life of the trucks 👍👍👍👍
Wow! Almost settled in South Dakota decades ago. Settled in Oregon. So glad I did! Totally forgot about the salt rust issues that come with residing in the Mid-West! You're certainly on top of things! Good job! Meow!
Happy birthday Miss Z. Enjoy your downtime, ypu deserve it.
As a New Yorker fluid film saves the day every time
Ryan, throwing that dust up on the frame. Is like throwing sand in the paint for walking on steps in a way. Adds a layer of protection on the porch plus it’s easier to walk on. I know that what you put on isn’t something to walk on but is another layer of protection on the application. Thanks for sharing your videos sir
You put sand on outdoor steps that are painted or epoxied for extra traction when they get wet.
It’s to make them more grippy and less slippery, it doesn’t add protection to the surface. It reduces slip and falls.
Love your winter content, including you just messing around and getting prepared for winter!
Can't wait to see you and bugs on an early morning meetup before plowing.
I’m so glad they don’t salt the roads in Nevada my vehicles stay completely rust free !!!
Teamwork makes the dream work.
Thats the same camera they use to film Bigfoot and UFOs LOL
Your past couple of videos have been really exciting, new truck and a new shop. Well-deserved and a big high five to your crew for helping make it all possible. You all are hardworking guys even D.jr....in his own of course LOL
I didn’t even know about this channel. Like seeing behind the scenes stuff. Keep making that Eeeeaaasssyyyyy Money Boys!!
"don't start if you can't finish" is the phrase I like best.
You are a great father figure for young men like myself. A great example on what being a man is like.
I see your new skid steer that I haven't seen on your main channel. 👍
Darrel should have his own show like “my name is earl” but Darrel’s version
I like how Anne does such good work that she gets "a raise" every morning.
Powdering the new truck with release is quite the concrete baptism!
Almost 100k views. People, myself included, love this kind of content. Chilln with the boss man.
This is epic, just watched Eric and Fran, now 50mine of the og himself. Kettle on feet up.
Ryan the release to coat over is brilliant.
That shop is beautiful I hope you get me one like that in time .has plenty of room needs some work here and there perfect for someone like you
Looking forward to the winter content and projects. Congratulations on the enclosed shop and new truck. When you dump with the tail gate down like you did be careful if you have a hitch. Had to replace two on my dump trucks when I sent my guys to dump site. Just want to save you the headache.
Top video Ryan keep them coming for us over here in the uk 🇬🇧👍👍🇺🇸👍👍
This guy has spent my life savings in one year
Love all of your videos on both channels. Thank you for your hard work on these channels and allowing us into your business/family.
Hey. So good to see u using fluid film products. I have been using them since the middle 90s. When doing large jobs such as spraying the vehicles I would recommend an airless paint sprayer. No loading the spray can just drop the intake hose into the bucket , prime the pump and spray away. The r multiple spray nozzles to get the coating thickness u want as well. Great stuff!!!!
Anything Victory has my attention thanks for the Tips for rust Ryan. Keep these videos up love seeing the day to day.
The explanation for why the dust on the greasy substance works so well is something along the lines of gravy. You use bacon grease or other oil to heat up then add flour to make it thicker. The oil is slick and moves easily in the pan, but when you add the flour the combination of the two thickens and sticks to the pan. Basically it's a paste
I believe in theory he’s wrong. From my experience any dirt/mud/dust/grime hold on to moisture. Which would accelerate the rust/corrosion! If the truck is coated it doesn’t need anything other than a wash
